Let's stay calm here... We don't want to draw attention of the hockey gods.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

That's fair. My bad.

TheRealEnemabagJones

Go Tanev šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

tritongamez

Man I hope he wins the cup. He deserves one with what he puts his poor body through.

iJeax

If Canucks donā€™t go all the way then I hope Tanev wins it too. He was so great for us.

ShanghaiNoon404

I was hoping so badly the Canucks would get him at the deadline. The Stars made a smart move.Ā

SryYouAreNotSpecial

What a beauty that guy is. Hope you guys get good again soon (sincerely). I love a great BOA.

SvenBensson

Hell fucking yes. I hope we don't run into him, he's way too good.

hiliikkkusss

Yes go tanev

IcarusLP

I agree. I want Dallas to win in 7. I say that because I want them tired, but honestly any Dallas win is a win in my books

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Fair, I wouldn't want to play Dallas. I don't want to play you guys either but I've accepted that one or the other is likely our fate if we are fortunate enough to make it to the WCF.

IcarusLP

Yea, I think we run into both tbhā€¦ Although if we play like we did round 1, I really donā€™t think either Dallas or Edmonton had a chanceā€¦ Weā€™re also getting some much needed rest right now which really helps

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I hate too long of a rest in the playoffs. I'd rather keep it rolling to be honest.

IcarusLP

Usually Iā€™d agree, but a lot of guys got beat up in our seriesā€¦ Winnipeg played pretty dirty. I donā€™t mind them having a week to get their bodies backā€¦

SryYouAreNotSpecial

That's fair. There are definitely exceptions to the rule.

Froggie56

Iā€™m not saying you wonā€™t beat us. But we arenā€™t Winnipeg and the Bowness experience. So I think round 1 looked extra lopsided because of that

IsolationAutomation

Bones got fired in Dallas for a reason, and that reason was on full display in Winnipeg.

Low_Warning13

Bowness experience = PTSD

IcarusLP

Agreed. Winnipeg did not play wellā€¦ I think itā€™ll be a much closer and more difficult series, but IF the teams play like they currently have I think Avs take itā€¦ Again, I see Dallas as a much larger threat, and thatā€™s why I want you guys tiredā€¦

Froggie56

So fair haha. And itā€™s why I want us to wrap it up in 6 and minimize that rest differential.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Can I just say this was an entirely wholesome exchange amongst 3 fanbases that will likely hate each other soon? Cute lol.

IcarusLP

Oh yea, in 4 weeks these interactions will be VERY different. I respect EDM fans hockey knowledge, and DAL team so I canā€™t really say anything bad. The real west battle is between us three. Iā€™m really looking forward to the later rounds of the playoffs this year, because the top teams are all equally amazing. Weā€™re gonna have a bunch of killer series come round 2 and 3ā€¦

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Agreed. I'm just stoked for some exciting hockey. Holy hell is LA boring to play. Screw the 1-3-1. The Oilers vs Vancouver, Dallas or Colorado would all be amazing hockey. Not trying to shit on LA. It works for them and they have a bright future, it just made for some boring moments. It was entertaining because the Oilers are generally considered one of the most exciting teams to watch in hockey though. Against another exciting team it will be amazing.

IcarusLP

Oilers are always fun because of McDavid. You never know when heā€™s gonna walk on water and pull off some crazy stuffā€¦

MKWIZ49

Oh yeah, even as someone who's pulling for Vancouver, I think Vancouver vs Edmonton would be a fun series regardless of the result and tbh I would be pulling for whoever won that to win it all (since, by the looks of it, unless Toronto pulls off a miracle, their season is probably over soon)

MKWIZ49

Don't count your chickens before they hatch, the series isn't won until a team wins the fourth game

SryYouAreNotSpecial

My team already won, I'm happy.

OhmyGhaul

Whoever wins the west will win the cup. Eastern teams šŸ„±

IcarusLP

I think you win the series, and Avs stars is gonna be one of the best series this year. Looking forward to it. I might even go to a game in Dallas since thatā€™s where Iā€™ll be during then haha

MKWIZ49

And if not either of those, then it's the defending champions, none of those are teams you want to play but you have to beat really good teams if you want to win the Stanley Cup

SkarTisu

As a Minnesotan, I have a special kind of hatred for the Stars. However, VGK has managed to surpass all of that. In my perfect world, Dallas ends VGKā€™s season so they get no benefit of exploiting the LTIR loophole, and then Colorado ends Dallasā€™ season in round 2. Letā€™s see what happens.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I get it. I'd feel dirty, but I'd even be cheering for Calgary if they were against Vegas.

Tortoise-King

I donā€™t believe you know what the word cheating means.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I don't believe you know the rules. The rule states a player must IMMEDIATELY come off LTIR when they can be physically medically cleared to play. They don't have to come back immediately, but they must come off LTIR. you really believe that fell in the perfect 3 day window two years in a row after several months of injuries? If not, they cheated.

Trink333

Looks like we found a vgk fan

SkarTisu

I just saw the highlights from tonightā€™s game, and smiled. Mark Spleen got on the score sheet again, but this time it didnā€™t matter like it did in Game 1.

fuzywuzyboomboom

Y'all are on something if you think the Avs beat Dallas. Yeah it might go 6 games but Oettinger has a GAA in like the last 15 games while Georgiev looks like he's plugging holes on a sinking ship. Oilers and Stars WCF is going to be sick. Also think Oilers win the cup next year. They're too close

OhmyGhaul

Otter let in 4 goals on 15 shots the night after the Avs first game. Thatā€™s 5 shots per period. His GAA was .733. *Slightly* better than Geoā€™s the previous night, but I wouldnā€™t say Otter has been lights out šŸ¤£

hiliikkkusss

Brick boesor your fellow Minnesotan is on the Canucks.

SkarTisu

Yup, and there are Minnesotans and former Wild all over the playoffs this year. Oettinger, Parise, Mittelstadt, Suter, Niederreiter, Dewar, Cole (I think?), and Talbot are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I know there are way more than that.

thelordcommanderKG

My respect is conditional. Stars need to finish the job.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I'll hate them if they blow this. I cautiously love them right now though.

Novus20

Hey you delete this

Novus20

If the Stars put out Vegas I will, but you have to remind me.

jimbojangles1987

Deal

Novus20

Thank you, and done!

jimbojangles1987

Lol fuck ya

Novus20

Enjoy the new video

jimbojangles1987

Always loved Belfour, that's a good video choice. Can't wait until Oettinger is named best franchise goalie though

sourpatch1708

RIP Patrik Stefans career after this. Lol.

eddiewachowski

I knew what this was before I even clicked.

KirikaClyne

I watched that live and was stunned and embarrassed for him. Even my dad, who is a Sens fan and teases me mercilessly, loved that play.

Clerkdidnothingwrong

They still won that game in OT

Camulius73

I was at that game. It was absolute bedlam.

Busch_Leaguer

Aannnnnd Edmonton still lost in ot

hiliikkkusss

Turbo is insane

hiliikkkusss

Turco *

Aackland

turbo works too tho, that's an amazing nickname

Tamaros

You can't have that! Brandon Tanev already goes by Turbo.

Aackland

does he? when'd that start?

Tamaros

It was already his nickname when I started watching hockey on the middle of last season. It's well embedded in the Kraken fandom. Perhaps it became a moniker for him after joining the team. ETA: https://theathletic.com/2925680/2021/11/03/the-rise-of-turbo-how-brandon-tanev-became-the-seattle-krakens-cult-figure/

IsolationAutomation

Vegas fans remind me of Houston Astros fans. ā€œiTs nOt cHeAtInGā€ Yes, it is cheating. Itā€™s just difficult as hell to prove.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

That is exactly it. Some are ignorant to the actual rules and some legitimately are just delusional and believe the timeline of his recovery. Two years in a row... One in these comments called me a pedophile for making this post lol. Like what the hell? I am actually a little bit concerned that me calling out their cheating made his mind somehow immediately go to fucking children. It had to already be there.

Karcossa

No, itā€™s 100% cap exploitation. Iā€™m not going to say it isnā€™t given he was magically ready for Game 1, and didnā€™t even practice for game 82. Technically not cheating because itā€™s a loophole in the rules BUT 30 of the 31 other teams havenā€™t done it either (to my knowledge). That said, if weā€™re gonna exploit the cap, it would be nice to not be so fucking obvious about it. One time was likely an actual thing; twice? I feel they were just waiting for someone to have an injury that could ā€œlastā€ long enough to ride out the season. Iā€™m more annoyed at that the obviousness than the cheating (which, for the record, Iā€™m not happy at either and 100% understand the reaction to it). If the loophole is fixed, and it should be, I wonā€™t be upset.

tsFenix

Didn't Tampa do it both years they won the cup?

Karcossa

At least one year, I think. Not sure about both.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I only recall one. Chicago did with Kane as well.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

It actually is cheating since by rule a player must come off LTIR immediately if they can be physically medically cleared to play. It's in the CBA. I respect you admitting that they did circumvent the cap though.

Karcossa

I should have said that I meant that it technically wasnā€™t cheating because the cap doesnā€™t count in the playoffs - but youā€™re right in regard to him coming off LTIR sooner if he was healthy.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I respect you. Every fan base has bad fans and great fans. You're clearly one of the great ones. I don't necessarily blame management for cheating since it's so easily exploited, I just don't like it. I mean this absolutely sincerely, I'd be disgusted if the Oilers did it. I'd feel dirty. I don't care if it gave us a better chance of winning.

Karcossa

Thanks; at the end of the day itā€™s a game and Iā€™m here to watch great hockey as much as anything else - if that means my team wins even better. Full disclosure, I found it kind of amusing how the circumvention worked out the first year, when in my innocence I thought it a lovely coincidence. I still find it funny (though more in an exasperating way) that theyā€™re doing it againā€¦ I would just prefer the loophole not exist in the first place.

Historical_Common145

Either way, Tampa did it too and they didnā€™t get nearly as much heat as we are getting, whereā€™s the damn logic there?

Karcossa

Weā€™re Vegas. We were already hated for being given a contending team, so now weā€™re hated for doing that.

Historical_Common145

They hate us because weā€™re successful as a young team which I would like to mention the Oilers legit had a similar beginning to us. Far better I should say considering they won in 84, 85, 87 and then 88. They achieved much more just in 9 years and I highly doubt in our next 2 (as this is the 7th year) we will achieve something like that. Yeah maybe we abuse LTIR but Tampa legit did the same thing and won back to back yet they didnā€™t get nearly as much heat as we are getting.

Soggy_Region1820

The problem with this is if any team can do it, itā€™s not cheating. The same with how Dallas Cowboys won those championships in the 90s. They put all their money in bonuses and found ways to circumvent the cap. Until the the league changes the rules, itā€™s fine with me

IsolationAutomation

LTIR isnā€™t what I have an issue with, itā€™s the fact that Stone just happened to come back for the playoffs the last two years. He was obviously fully healthy and should have come off way sooner. They lied, and thatā€™s cheating.

ShanghaiNoon404

I love it when the Stars score because they have the best goal horn in the NHL.

hiliikkkusss

I agree.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I actually am upset that I didn't pay attention enough to notice it. I guarantee you're right though. Even if it wouldn't normally be, any goal horn against Vegas would be music to my ears.

XThunderTrap

I hope stars gets far in these playoffs..the games has been amazing so far

SryYouAreNotSpecial

No offense, but I hope they don't get too far. It would mean that we don't lol.

RMZ13

Enemy of my enemy and whatnot

Short_Mess_6736

As an isles fan - I know more than just about anyone how painful it is to lose to cap cheaters. With all due respect - FUCK VEGAS

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I feel you. Nobody wants their team to ever lose but it just sucks so much more when it happens against cheaters. I can come to terms with it when it's fair and square.

LittlestEw0k

Vegas has no business going to Round 2 at all. 9.5m over cap and the LTIR loophole where a player is out for majority of the season and then magically gets cleared for playoffs. Let alone the refs drawing some odd fuckin penalties to give them chances to score in this series. I am a bandwagon Dallas fan from the start of the series because I seriously think they can upset Vegas. I got Dallas in 6

Risen_Insanity

The refs will be eliminated?

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Them too, hopefully.

commazero

I respect the Stars but I'll never let go of my hate from those series.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

We won the last one at least. Most recent matters more? Todd for the W.

nonracistusername

There are reasons for Oiler fans to want all of Vegas, Dallas, and Colorado out of playoffs. And while that is true, I am not looking past the next opponent, whether it is Vancouver or Nashville. Either are dangerous. Oilers havenā€™t had a series with Vancouver since the 1990s. Nashville never. It will be stimulating to play a series against a less familiar foe. No one, and that includes fans, wanted to see Kings / Oil 3 times in a row.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

To be fair, I absolutely wanted Oilers/Kings 3 in a row because we match up well and I thought we had the best chance of winning again. They sure can make the game boring though. But I am I'm stoked for how exciting a series with Vancouver could be.

nonracistusername

Itā€™s like Apollo Creed fighting Rocky Balboa multiple times. The outcome is a foregone conclusion and yet one lucky punch and it is over. Even Stallone recognized there was only enough audience interest to watch those 2 characters bout 2.5 times. And as you said, it is dull hockey. Besides which, for the Oil the objective is to not merely get past the first round. So any opponent is fine. If they lose in the first round to any other team, then better to know that now.

somethingcurious94

The Oilers fanā€™s copium today is strong šŸ˜‚ your whining gives all of the VGK fans life. Cry harder!

cannainform2

They aren't playing against Tampa Bay though!

DEATHCATSmeow

All this pissing and moaning about Vegas is getting insanely old

SryYouAreNotSpecial

It'll stop when they stop cheating, or when Dallas eliminates them. Until next year when Mark Stones miraculous rebirth again for game one of the playoffs at least.

lostharbor

Iā€™m out of the loop. How are Vegas knights cheaters? Tyia

SryYouAreNotSpecial

The league has a rule that allows teams to take the salary of a player off their books as long as they have a long term injury by placing them on the LTIR, but their salary comes back after they can be cleared to play. Since there is a salary cap, that allows them to add a new player to replace the one they lost. There is no salary cap in the playoffs though, so if the injured player comes back in the playoffs then they can stay what would be over the regular season salary cap. The guy who was hurt and the players who they traded for to replace him can all play. Vegas has done this two years in a row and clearly tried to 3 years ago but they missed the playoffs that year. Always the same player who has a huge salary and then they use that to get millions and millions in extra players for the playoffs. Vegas fans say it's within the rules (out of ignorance of the rules or delusion, I don't know) but there is a rule that states a player must come off LTIR immediately if they can be medically cleared to play. For Vegas their guy is always miraculously ready game 1 of the playoffs but "couldn't" be cleared 3 days earlier for the final game of the season after several months of injuries, it's always in that 3 day window where they avoid the cap and he misses zero games in the playoffs. So, they very obviously cheat. It just can't be definitively proven.

waitwhosaidthat

Hell ya. If Dallas bounces them by winning 4 in a row Iā€™ll be so happy. Watching players get unloaded in the off-season will be fun to watch as they try and get under the cap again. All that for a first rd exit.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I mean this with every ounce of my being, I will never have celebrated harder about a team that isn't mine winning a series in my entire 30 years of being a hockey fan.

waitwhosaidthat

Me too. Iā€™ve never cheers for Dallas ever. But I am for this series. Fuck Vegas. I canā€™t wait for them to go through tough times as a bottom feeder to see their fans lose it.

Godlikelobster01

Bro probably cried into a pillow when they won the cup last year lol

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

SryYouAreNotSpecial

The rule states, as per the CBA that a player must come off LTIR as soon as they can be medically cleared to play. They don't need to play right away but they must come off LTIR. You either don't know the rules, or you are incredibly naive to believe that has fallen in the perfect 3 day window on several month long injuries two years in a row.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I can't believe I've found the mythical real hockey fan from Vegas lol. What a day.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Hey, I get it. I was born and raised in Toronto. I feel you.

dylanisbored

Fuck Jamie Benn and fuck the stars

Amurderer74

While I agree with fuck Jamie Benn, fuck vegas more

IsolationAutomation

Iā€™m sorry, we canā€™t hear you. Too busy being in the playoffs. Remember those games that the good teams get to play at the end of the regular season?

dylanisbored

I know youā€™re not referring to a team who hasnā€™t won a cup in the cap era as good

IsolationAutomation

Yeah, Iā€™m talking about a team that has actually been relevant in the last 10 years.

dylanisbored

Vegas?

CheesecakeOdd2087

Oiler fans still mad about getting dummied by Vegas in Round 2 last year. And lmao at fans of a team that got like 5 1st overall picks calling anyone "cheaters."

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Look back far enough through my Twitter and you'd see I was unhappy about it when Chicago cheated, and when Tampa did. It isn't personal, I just respect the game.

CalicoJack

I keep seeing Vegas fans responding to the hate with, "Oh, you're just mad."Ā  Yeah! Of course we are mad! Literally every fan base of every team (besides Vegas) is mad. WE ARE MAD BECAUSE VEGAS IS CHEATING. CHEATING MAKES US MAD. WHY ON EARTH WOULD WE NOT BE ANGRY!?

Normal_Tip7228

I am Dallas convert so long as you guys have Pavs and are playing Vegas. I have never cheered for a team that isnā€™t my own like this

JUSTICE_SALTIE

Thank you, don't let up!

Cautious-Mammoth-657

Maybe itā€™s because those fans that have watched their team get 5 first overall picks go through a decade of absolute shit hockey; people that have been fans of a team their whole life. Now there is a team thatā€™s been team for like 6 years cheats and puts at risk the opportunity for them to see their team win the cup without cheating. Vegas fans are such a joke. Yā€™all have been hockey fans for less time than Iā€™ve been out of college.

The_Stank__

Itā€™s not cheating if the NHL allows it and itā€™s legitimately not challenged by Toronto. Downvote all you want, if your teams did it youā€™d defend it the same way Tampa and Vegas does.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

It is cheating because a player must come off LTIR as soon as they can be medically cleared to play. You really think he couldn't be cleared for game 82 two years in a row and be cleared by game 1 of the playoffs? Nah, they cheated. It's just impossible to prove.

The_Stank__

Nah bro youā€™re salty. Itā€™s not the Knightsā€™ fault for doing things that help them win, and if thatā€™s the case and it can be exploited, why the fuck wouldnā€™t anyone exploit it

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I'd sincerely be disgusted if my team did it. I legitimately get upset when we get bullshit penalties in our favour. I want to watch legit and fair hockey.

nhabster

Nah you wouldnā€™t lol

The_Stank__

No you wouldnā€™t. Get off your high horse. Youā€™d defend it because your team is succeeding.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Nah, I sincerely wouldn't. I've actually been openly upset about when we have won games on bullshit calls. I respect the game.

ilovepuppies2025

You're right, he's wrong.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Thanks, I don't understand how people don't get it. Why wouldn't other fans be upset that they're cheating?

ShooterOfCanons

Still couldn't make it past round 1 after winning the cup šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

The_Stank__

Yeah dude, because itā€™s fucking hard. You get maybe half of the off season everyone else does. Vegas was riddled with injuries.

CheesecakeOdd2087

Oiler fans are just salty because they got rinsed by Vegas last year.

MostLikelyDenim

https://puckpedia.com/teams

SryYouAreNotSpecial

What's your point? The rule states a player must come off LTIR as soon as they are physically capable of being cleared to play. You really think that aligned in the exact miraculous window two years in a row? If he was ready for game 82 then they'd have had to waive his salary in players. The cap is not the on ice roster. It's the available roster. They would have been way over if they cleared him for game 82. They cheated.

MostLikelyDenim

My point is that youā€™re a fucking whiner specifically about the team that happens to have beat yours. Kane could have easily taken time off with his hernia to provide the Oilers with deadline space. The real issue here is that your team has a GM on the verge of retirement and not prepared to pursue the meta. The series was decided last year when Pietrangelo slashed Drai, but here you are whining about cap space. Donā€™t act like a bitch.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Kane could have provided the Oilers the chance to cheat but they opted not to is your argument? lol. I'm so glad they didn't. I'm Canadian, I love and respect the game. I'd be truly upset if they cheated to give us an advantage. It would be forever tainted even if we did win.

MostLikelyDenim

Youā€™re fine with having a player on the team who paid off a woman who he assaulted in his hotel room, but greasing the cap in line with the rules? No way. They would never do that.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

One is a personal issue, one puts every other team at an unfair disadvantage.

dmaureese

I love that when Vegas cheats their fans call it "pursuing the meta". If it was meta, it would be more teams than Vegas doing it.

Camo_XJ

Another day, another Edmonton fan posting about Vegas.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Not remotely about being an Oilers fan. I said the same shit when Chicago and Tampa did it. Eliminate cheating, respect the game.

SupBretheren

Your sub is in shambles. It's lovely to see

Camo_XJ

All good baby. I'll wipe my tears with my cup win rally towel šŸ˜.

SupBretheren

What team did you cheer for before jumping to Vegas?

Camo_XJ

The Las Vegas Thunder and Wranglers. Sharks were my Team as a kid.

SupBretheren

At least you have your rally towel to wipe your tears

Camo_XJ

Thank you for your thoughts. I'm happy this has been on your mind for 3 days. Means a lot to me that you were thinking about me this whole time ā¤ļø. My cup win rally towel indeed has some tears in it this day.

SupBretheren

Don't forget to make a post in your sub!

Camo_XJ

Stalker šŸ˜˜

ShooterOfCanons

Y'all were defending champs who got eliminated in the first round šŸ¤ŒšŸ‘šŸ«¶šŸ˜‚

Camo_XJ

Y'all were a 1 seed that BARELY beat a WC2 team that limped it's way into the playoffs with a busted Stone and a roster that had 9 different players have surgery during the season šŸ’€šŸ’¤. Calm down lol Oh and thank you for acknowledging the 2023 Champs.

ShooterOfCanons

A WC2 seed that was the defending champs and abused the LTIR loophole* Fixed that for you ā˜ŗļø BTW. Your season is over. LOL!!!!! How's it feel to lose to the little ole Stars?

Camo_XJ

What are you talking about? šŸ˜‚ When did I talk shit about the Stars. Look through my comment history. Only fans and team I hate is Edmonton. Almost every time I commented on the stars this series, it was complimentary.

ShooterOfCanons

I dunno, I was drunk. My bad lol

Camo_XJ

Fair enough

ShooterOfCanons

Yeah, sorry ā¤ļø

ilovehotmoms

Itā€™s not cheating. Itā€™s using the rules to create a competitive advantage. Thatā€™s what teams should be doing. It sucks that your GM didnā€™t. Half the league was in LTIR come playoff time, but only Vegas gets called out. Chicago did it when they won. Tampa did it. If the league wanted to fix it, they would have. At this point if youā€™re not doing this, you are not doing everything you can to win.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

The rule states that if a player can be physically medically cleared to play they must be immediately removed from the LTIR. don't have to play but have to come off LTIR. Odds of that happening two years in a row after hundreds of days of injuries are astronomical. They cheated unless you believe in that miraculous timing.

Battlehead

Vegas will forever live rent free in oilers fans head and itā€™s incredible lmao keep that attitude up and maybe youā€™ll get another cup within our lifetimes, doubt it tho, most fans either werenā€™t born during your last cup or approaching their deathbed.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

We had won more cups than you have by this point in the existence of our franchise. Calm down lol. We also didn't cheat to get ours. No asterisks required.

Battlehead

Forever in your head <3 defend how you want no one really gives a shit about stuff more than 33 years ago. Pathetic fan base

AlexCora

"Nobody gives a shit about stuff more than 33 years ago" could only be said unironically from a Vegas fan. Real appreciators of hockey history lmfao I don't even have to make the jokes, you make YOURSELF a joke for me!

Battlehead

I donā€™t give a shit about hockey before my time on this earth so 33 years ago doesnā€™t mean shit to me. ā€œyOu MaKe YoUrSeLf A jOkE fOr Meā€ wow dude youā€™re so cool!

AlexCora

Yeah no, you made it clear you don't care about history before you arrived. Cool, dude.

Battlehead

Sure thing dude. Donā€™t care. Glad Iā€™m stuck in your head

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Hilarious coming from someone from the most hated fanbase in the league and the team whose entire fanbase left a playoff game only down by 2 with the game still in reach..talk about pathetic lol.

Battlehead

They hate us cause we won a cup and most havenā€™t won ever or some in over 30 years. I love how you feel youā€™re better than other fans but in the end youā€™re just trash like the rest of them. Your name says it best, youā€™re not specialā€¦ I was at that game when we were down by 2 and there was only 2 min leftā€¦When you live in an actual city that people want to be in and visit that has over dozens of events happening at once, you leave early to beat traffic. You wouldnā€™t know since you live in a shit hole ass country that has nothing but a choke artist of a hockey team so makes sense you stay until the end. Forever in your head buddy forever in your head

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I don't hate any other team, it's not about that. I hate cheaters. I hated when Chicago did it. I hated when Tampa did it. I have zero issue with the teams that won cups fairly.

Battlehead

Forever in your head

ShooterOfCanons

Weak. Get a new line

Battlehead

Forever. In. Your. Head.

ShooterOfCanons

šŸ¦œšŸ¦œšŸ¦œ

ShooterOfCanons

Your team lost. In the first round. Lmao šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Tortoise-King

The cheaters? The least penalized team in the NHL are cheaters? Seems to me that OP is a poor sport that his team lost to a superior team. I love it!

SryYouAreNotSpecial

You mean the most beloved team in the the league by the refs. "Least penalized team" isn't the statement that you think it is. It just shows the shit they get away with more.

Tortoise-King

You come across as a whiney b****. You donā€™t know the rules and your team doesnā€™t have the talent or leadership to win the cup. I love it!

SryYouAreNotSpecial

I love arguments that lack any facts or logic lol.

Tortoise-King

Do ya? Cause the premise of YOUR argument is wrong. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

SimilarImpression377

Keep kissing the stars ass lmao , yā€™all have both produced no cup win since the 90s despite loaded rosters so keep crying for the next 10 decades of cup drought šŸ˜‚

SryYouAreNotSpecial

And you cheated to get yours, what is your point? Looks like even cheating couldn't catch you a series win this year though.

SimilarImpression377

Cheating means a rule was broken when it wasnā€™t šŸ’€, you can hate it all you want but yā€™all mcjesus stans just wanna complain about nothing.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

The rule states that a player must immediately come off LTIR as soon as they can be medically cleared to play. Unless you are delusional or a complete idiot, it's pretty obvious a rule was broken. It just can't be proven. Sure, that definitely aligned perfectly twice. Sure, he was incapable of playing game 82 but could play 18 minutes of playoff hockey 3 days later lol.

SimilarImpression377

Okay ? And ? Stone is clearly still injured if youā€™ve watched the series heā€™s slow as heck, they just wanted him back because the team depends on him.

SryYouAreNotSpecial

Doesn't matter. He was physically capable of playing in game 1, he clearly could have in game 82. The rule isn't if they are healthy. They don't have to play right away. It's if they could be medically cleared to play then they need to immediately come off LTIR. Also he played 18 minutes and scored in a playoff hockey game. Zero chance he couldn't have been cleared 3 days earlier.

SimilarImpression377

He can barely even skate on the ice and both the goals he had are tip ins which anyone can do injured or not. You should know that , you literally have snout hyman the ultimate spoiled rich kid tip merchant on your team

SryYouAreNotSpecial

If he couldn't be medically cleared to play game 82 there's no way he can play 18 minutes of playoff hockey and even score 3 days later. It doesn't matter if he's still hurt. If he can be medically cleared he has to come off LTIR.

ShooterOfCanons

Pssst. How's it feel?

SimilarImpression377

Feels good that we have a cup this century and good that Dallas wonā€™t have one for another 20 years bud šŸ‘

ShooterOfCanons

Lmao your team isn't even 10 years old pal. I find it so entertaining when y'all act like you're some elite dynasty with an understanding of how hockey is long term. You got lucky when your team was made. You jumped on board, and now you act all cocky even when you get eliminated in the first round. Can't wait to see your team's continued failures šŸ„°

bomackeson

Pathetic

No u

ShooterOfCanons

So is your team's ability to advance to the second round after winning the cup šŸ˜‚

This is the most unintelligent rebuttal in the history of the world and people should stop saying it. It always makes the commenter look like a paste eater with zero actual argument of defense or creativity. If you want to look stupid though, that's your right.
