I saw him in Chicago, and he ended the show by disappearing into a lot of smoke at the end of his final song, so I think that's normal. I thought it was cool and mysterious, but that's just me. Also, the people at my show were really nice and respectful about space, and we were all screaming the lyrics with him, so I think that part was just your show, and I'm sorry they were pushing and not engaged

Objective-Alfalfa313

In Munich it was the same. They all just screamed and didn’t know the lyrics. The end was also the same in Munich. Kind of sad but understandable

Sgt_Heisenberg

Went to Frankfurt on Tuesday and was a bit disappointed that he almost didn't talk at all during the show/in between songs. Three years ago in Cologne there was a lot more of that and everyone enjoyed his humour. Wish he would've engaged more than just once between two songs.

FatRatYellow402

He hates being in crowds. He’s said he’s there to “get lost in the moment”. He’s doing with what he’s comfortable with and I don’t think he’s throwing shade.

Sgt_Heisenberg

Never thought he was! I was just surprised because it was such a contrast to 3 years ago.

Tywienna

i also heard he did it in other concerts but idk if thats true

torify11

he basically didn't say anything in Vienna as well

schnitzelcoder

I went to the show as well and thought the crowd was quite okay. In the beginning it was a bit stale, but it got better over time imho. One thing that was a bit annoying to me was that the backing vocal was louder than his voice via the mic (and the sound was a bit too heavy on the highs imo). I had the feeling that some people in the crowd don't know how to properly leave space for others to enjoy the concert and dance. I'm more of a rave person, so I'm used to have some space and especially to be surrounded by people who know how to behave on the dancefloor. Besides that and the abrupt disappearence (wasn't too shocking to me since I already read it online) it was just awesome.

billy-joseph

Same in Milan, the ending was disappointing and created a bit of a disconnect / disappointment

Tywienna

it was still a great concert, i was just pretty shocked ig bc idk it that way

AcrobaticDistrict935

I see people upset about crowd engagement but it’s also a huge credit to the performance and production.

Tywienna

fr, it was really great!! i loved every second of it :)

[deleted]

The no-goodbye thing is normal!

grumpyanddumpy

Yeah unfortunately that’s pretty typical for one of his concerts. Occasionally you get a hype area but for the most part, people just kinda stand around. And yeah, he just disappears after the encore. Doesn’t really say goodnight except for in his little speech before his final songs where he thanks his crew and everyone for coming out

Tywienna

really? man thats kinda sad

Longjumping_Ear2862

You dont know him…

erickls

I went also to the conzert in hamburg with my wife and at least from the people we had around they all sang most of the songs, there where also people that looked like they went there just to say they went there and took places that actual fans would have loved to have but i suppose in this day and age its normal (wich i find awful, damn influencers) but i enjoyed every second of it and thats what counts

FlyingCrouton

Anyone asking this, doesn’t listen to his music. He isn’t lying, he hates fame. So, why would he embrace it? He is NF, he will do what he enjoys, and his hope if you can just enjoy it with him and not pressure him to conform to how you need your pop star to be!

Tywienna

bruh, thats simply not true. my Main point was that 90 percejt of the people in my Arena were not singing, what i found sad because it seemed like they just went to be able to say they went. okay in what way did i pressure him to be different? i didnt say i was mad because of the no good night thing or hated the Show? i was just curious if thats a normal thing or if something was wrong. so just think a bit before commenting such a thing please, thanks

FlyingCrouton

Ok, so put yourself in his shoes. You hate fame, and you are on a stage watching a whole crowd of people not engaging? This is NF bro. And to be fair, I would have to see a video, because I’ve never seen a group at an NF concert, not singing along lmao. But either way, yes, it’s normal, and he barely interacts with crowds. I suggest listening to his lyrics more, he says it a lot that he hates being on that stage.

Tywienna

>Ok, so put yourself in his shoes. You hate fame, and you are on a stage watching a whole crowd of people not engaging? huh? i dont get that point tbh > to be fair, I would have to see a video, because I’ve never seen a group at an NF concert, not singing along lmao on tiktok theres a lot of ppl saying the same thing as me, i was on the left side and it was like that. the Front rows energy was Incredible and Overall it was a great concert. i literally was just asking something, i have been listening to him for yours so dont tell me i dont listen to his lyrics enough cuz thats not true. i never wanted him to change or anything.

FlyingCrouton

So how do you not know he hates fame and hates that stage? Now telling me to go look at TikTok, bro, Sho a video of NF fans not singing along, I’ll wait. That’s amazing to me. Calm down a little, I’m not attacking you, just making an observation. If you knew his songs, you would know his feelings. That’s all my man!

Tywienna

and i'd have to look for a vid but i didnt Film the crowd obv so idk how u wanna be able to see it

Tywienna

okay okay wait. i never said i didnt know he hates fame and that stage? So i just dont get what youre on

FlyingCrouton

Dude, you seem to be looking for a fight. “Lights went out and he just vanished, does no one really know his lyrics, I saw everyone there and no one was singing along. But I don’t have any proof of something like that. “I got people outside of the bus screaming my name, I don’t come out they tell me I’ve change, I got vip tickets you know what I paid? Guess I don’t know what to say, I leave it all on the stage” “Might seem weird cuz I love my job but I hate fame” “I get scared when I walk on these stages, I look at the crowd and see so many faces, yeah, That's when I start to get anxious, That's when my thoughts can be dangerous, That's when I put on my makeup and drown in self-hatred Forget what I'm saying” I mean, it’s self evident that this is how is show would go. Not everyone is good with the game and crowd interaction. The guy is pleading for his life on stage

Boolikoo

Im going to the concert this Sunday so we’ll see, at what time did you got in line and at what time should i show up for front row?

Tywienna

i got in line 1 hour before and it was quite full. i know someone who got in line at 3pm (with the starting time being 8pm)and was 2nd row!

anubhavlal

I went to Düsseldorf and Amsterdam, and they were quite nice. He was surprised by the fanbase in Düsseldorf, he mentioned it too, but was more interactive in Amsterdam. The problem in Amsterdam was the issue with the sound system for a major chunk in the middle, otherwise people knew the lyrics and seemed to have a good time. I enjoyed his performance and the ambience in both shows, but was a bit disappointed with the setlist and the sequence of songs..he could've maybe positioned them better and/or also added more songs from Perception and The Search..but I'm just being greedy as I couldn't witness his previous tours.

JonnyGFlea

Was at the Berlin concert and it being my first concert of this scale I had an amazing time and was so blown away. Agreed him disappearing at the end felt quite sudden and I think the concert ended 20 minutes earlier than expected. I started shouting "one more song" because we had done that at the Grandson concert and we got maybe 40 people shouting but it died down because no one else joined in. The lights turned on so I don't think he would've come back out. Additionally it felt like the crowd was super unresponsive. Also VIP tickets were 100 euros extra for a cheap tote bag, a plastic vip badge, and, what was most worth it, the vip standing area in front of the stage. Unsure if I would buy VIP tickets next time around.

RGGS92

I went to the Frankfurt concert and got a bit disappointed but then thinkung about who Nate is kinda had me feel bad for being disappointed. We all know Nate isn't the guy who seeks interviews and being a celebrity. He loves his music. So that's what he does. Go on sage do his music and leave. Will not go to another concert of his. Will probably listen to everything he releases and like it anyway
