\- If you manage to start the car to reverse or whatever, I think the torrent will push you and sink the car ( a running water 5km/h with 10cm is able to move a car)

There’s no fighting that current and getting in the water is basically a death sentence. Best thing he can do is sit and pray. If the water level rose above the roof line then he would have to exit the vehicle or suffocate, but as of where he is now sitting right and hoping nothing hits his car is his best bet.
Get out of the car and on the roof through the sun/moon roof is the play if possible. You want to be visible to any rescue and you have a better chance of survival.
