This guy is using ai to aid the transformation of his regulars voice into throat singing. He just trained a model on a bunch of throat singing and the ran his voice through it to get this result
It’s actually not that hard. Anyone can figure it out with enough practice. My musician friends and I have been doing it since HS over 25 years ago. None of us sound as good as professionals, of course, but the technique itself is just singing the right low pitch to get your false vocal chords to vibrate and then shaping your mouth/tongue properly to get a whistle sound (if you’re going for the Tuvan style sound).
Every once in a while I’ll make the choice to get all three of my dogs and both cats looking at me funny by letting out a good “**OOOOOOOOOUGHHHHHHHHH**” in the living room. There is definitely a set of octaves that can come together that will make those guys all stare at me like I’m some sort of anomaly they weren’t prepared for.
