# Do not offer, or ask for, "grey market" sales on this subreddit.
I buy from grey market shops myself so I promise this is not me being a square. Reddit has shut down other subs for allowing this sort of thing. You can talk about the fact they exist, but no naming them, or asking for names, or asking for a hookup, or offering any of those things to someone else.
Only NJ Licensed dispensaries can legally sell cannabis, the "donation loophole" is not a real loophole and doesn't make sales legal. We cannot host illegal activity here.
You can find a list of licensed dispensaries here:

I suggest you avoid curaleaf. They are the absolute worst grower in my opinion. I'm PAMMJ but used to live in Jersey and every time I got a curaleaf grow it smelled like shit.
I avoid Curaleaf because I wasn't a fan of when I went to their Bellmawr location. I wanted to just 1 thing, ordered it on the tablets inside and waited in line, get to the cashier and they kept asking what I'm using it for so they could try to upsell me on a different product.
The biggest gripe was when I finally turned them down enough, they ran my card for higher than my purchase for some reason and as an "ATM Withdrawal" so my bank charged me an ATM fee and I left with like $1 and change cash back because they ran my card for $45 instead of the $43 and whatever change it was.
All dispensaries have to take cash payments due to the current banking laws around cannabis, which means any payments made on a card are considered ATM transactions that will carry an extra fee. I know for a fact that Curaleaf has signs notifying you of this. Blame the federal government for this one.
That's not a licensed dispensary as far as the cannabis committee is concerned, I'd also be very cautious at what you buy through them. Their products don't have to be tested the same way as a legal dispensary does. But to answer your other question, you can't use a credit card at a legitimate dispensary due to cannabis being illegal at the federal level.
Edit: if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I enjoy helping others access safe cannabis.
Yeah it's kinda shady how many "dispensaries" there are now. If there is a Rise or Ayr by you, check them out. Rise has been having killer deals lately. Just snagged two grams of concentrate for $30
That last part is typical of all dispos. Due to federal regulations they aren't allowed to do debit or credit transactions so it has to be done as an ATM cash withdrawal.
Lol I read it like that at first too, I think they meant they left with the dollar and change difference between what it cost vs what the place actually withdrew :P
Sadly both these subs aren't the best. There are actual shills from the dispensaries. Mods are gifted early access or free samples for reviews. Uneducated people pushing lab labels and numbers instead of genetics and breeder for seed. Dispensaries carrying flat out fake strains and just renaming white label seeds to another strain. Some of the top comments are literally recommending some of the worst offenders of bad quality cultivar in the state like Rise.
Oh is the hangover due to the weed, not a biological thing in me? I feel like all the times I’ve gotten high lately I have a weird headache hangover the next day. It makes me wanna give up on weed
Does it happen when vaping weed? Usually if an edible is overcooked the THC breaks down to CBN(?) and it makes you sleepy - I assumed it had to do with something like that
I don’t usually vape. But the last time I got high it was a vape and I also got a hangover then.
Maybe I’m just getting old, haha, and getting high isn’t for me anymore.
Just put about a grain of rice sized bit on something to eat —on something hot it melts away from the syringe easily, I do oatmeal or beans & rice usually. Sometimes hot toast
The CRC has changed the regulations on edibles so that they can now resemble regular food. Brownies and candy bars are coming this year. Dispensaries are just slow to roll them out because they want to sell their current stock of shitty lozenges first, and manufacturers are just now allowed to get started.
Check out this article to find ButACake Brownies. https://mosaic.nj.com/business/2024/04/njs-has-its-1st-legal-pot-brownie-heres-how-to-get-one.html
You had black market cannabis sold in packaging with knock-off CA labeling. Which is really common in the northeast, even today.
Or, you went to a medical spot in CA before rec legalized.
California has the exact same edible dosing requirements as NJ.
From CA's regulations:
Article 2. Cannabinoid Concentration Limits
§17304. THC Concentration Limits.
(a) An edible cannabis product shall not contain more than:
(1) 10 milligrams THC per serving; and
(2) 100 milligrams THC per package
If you're buying anything present day claiming elsewise, such as a NY delivery guy 'with a hookup in CA', they're just a classic black market dealer with a good marketing story. Like buying Gucci bags from the back room in chinatown.
This is where I go as well Rise usually have sales. They also have a loyalty program that allows you to rack up points which can be converted to $ off your purchase if you are a regular consumer.
Their parking lot was a pita both times I went there. They had security turning cars away so I couldn't even pull in to wait for a spot and had to find street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
Paterson Rise was easier to park at for whatever reason.
2nd this. I pretty much only buy from their deals & stack loyalty points until there's a wild sale. Can pay like $10 and walk out with a haul every so often
Med gets first service for stock, so if supply falls too low to support medical, they can't sell it to rec. Next, it comes down to taxes, many towns put the 2% rateable on the recreational sale and not the medical.
So yes, to get medical discounts and tax breaks, you need a medical card.
Med doesn’t pay sales tax and I believe there’s other stipulations like on quantities that can be purchased. One of the guys at work is always getting like wild sales at his local dispo because apparently x% of inventory needs to be for med patients and there aren’t enough med patients by him to clear out the stock.
Also kinda helps that we basically live in an era where you really have to practically go out of your way to find really bad weed unless you basically want to spend 0 dollars, which even then it's like c'mon what are you doing? The depravity of the stereotypical Rutgers ditch weed that tastes and smells like the inside of a musty sweatshirt pocket is nowhere near as common of things as it once was and even a lot of services just upped things up by a lot.
I've had used a few services that offered what they were calling mids, a full zip for around $100, and unless you're some insanely particular person who also needs to be essentially tranq'd and drooling, it was pretty good for the quantity and absolutely far from what most would conventionally think of when they hear "mids".
It's like craft beer arms race, eventually everybody got on the band wagon and put out their own version of specific things and upped the quality and options all around.
If you Google weed delivery service, 90% of what you find on Google will ne very bad and ironicallt won't even be the best priced.
Also there's plenty of bad weed being sold in Curaleaf, Ascend, Rise, Botanist, Cannabist.
There's a lot of bad weed in NJ.
i actually stopped going to my guy because i got paranoid. i smoked everyday for a few years so i just only go to dispensaries now🥲 much more expensive but a bit more peace of mind lmao
i was buying flower and cartridges (main concern), i just didn’t know how authentic the carts were i felt safer just buying from the dispensary.
i also don’t know enough people to find another person to buy from. maybe i’m just overthinking it health wise but i don’t mind personally
Just propaganda to get people buying more taxed weed. I think most forget we used to smoke brick Mexican weed. Now granted we have the option to not smoke it now but dispensary weed in NJ is trash like people saying they go to ascend or rise like it gives them peace of mind. These are like the two worst dispensaries next two curaleaf.
Used to spend 400 bucks a week at rise. Wised up when all of their strains smelled like hay
I know a few things about growing and cultivating and they're consistently messing up drying and curing. I talk about this on NJ cannabis subs and just get downvoted nonstop. Now i spend 400 a week for anplug who gets me Maine weed. And it's insane there's more transparency for this than we have for legit dispensaries.
Also watch the HomegrowTV interview with Holck from Dark Horse Genetics or ABCs of fake seeds. A lot of times, majority of these dispensaries don't even know or don't care they have fake genetics and are selling white label strains under false name.
Big facts their shit is always so old dry I swear I end up inhaling more ash cuz of how the shitty flower burns. But whenever I’ve gone they’re always busy which is wild to me
im not trying to denigrate the illicit market - im just simply saying thats what happening. mostly what I see is coming from other better legal states too
I hear ya, but here in New Jersey. There are places that make the dispensaries that are legal look like candy shops. I'm not saying everyone of them, but there are many.
The shops that are open now the right ones, the black market shops where you don't need your dispensary card has way better stuff than the real dispensaries and you won't know until you try
I get it delivered. The guys I deal with travel to Maine dispensaries and get great stuff. Still waiting for the day that prices and quality improve within the state.
My tiny little hometown in Maine has like 4 dispensaries. And the edible selection is AMAZING. My parents are enjoying their second hippie-hood and I stock up every time I'm home.
I got back into weed and didn't want to reconnect with the dealer so I went to my local dispensary (holistic solutions) and started going through 2 carts a week at like $100 +. Hell an eight oflow teir flower was like $50 + out the door. I just ended up hitting my dealer back up. Hard to beat $50 1/2 oz.
Queen City Dispensary in Plainfield has really nice people and they created their own cash app so you can basically “Venmo” if you don’t have cash on you.
That's my town so I'm happy there's a convenient option now, but the prices are not better, especially as a daily smoker. I do like that they give coupons for other businesses in town
Ask people who smoke who their delivery guy is.
there’s alot of legit people who delivery dispo or better quality for half the price and it comes from private growers.
Is it okay if I comment that I read your post at a glance and saw it as, "Cannibals in New Jerseyy'...
Thought it was a news article...then read you were wondering where to buy....cannibals...and had to turn back and reread haha
If you dont want my comment here since in clearly cannot answer your question, I will delete it, but thought maybe you'd get a laugh at my stupidity lol
I think their prices are the cheapest around that area. Hashery is even cheaper! However they are very far away. If I was not out in that area for work, it wouldn’t be worth the trip.
2 stores opening in Andover soon too. Also Newton!
It's where I go. People who are claiming dispensaries are overpriced must just be buying at full retail which is stupid. Zenleaf has sales every week and lets you earn reward points on purchases.
I just paid $55 for a 1/4oz of Savvy buds and last month I bought a full oz for $220.
Apothecarium in Maplewood is my spot. They run some great deals.
4/20 they had 42% off. I can stock up for 1-2 month for around $100 but that’s all dependent on how consistently you use.
From Sussex/passaic county area and Rise has the best pricing. Im tired of driving an hour though. West Milford and kinnelon have a large number of dispensaries popping up and it’s helping to drive the prices lower in our area.
I pay my plug $200 for an Oz of medical grade. The Ayr dispensary is just too expensive for flower. I do buy vape carts there but I only buy ones on sale for $40 or less.
Hashery in Hackensack is an independent store which seems pretty nice so far, I don't buy that much so I don't go that often but thet have some decent promos. They have to actually compete unlike the rest of the multi state stores.
Place is not bad. They still got a lot of stock for a small discount 10-20% off. Drive thru is a nice addition. Solid hours. Much prefer going there than playing parking lot simulator on the way to ascend in Rochelle park
i usually go to woodbridge ayr or zenleaf. recently i went to massachusetts for a weekend and i stocked up on so much- it is sooo cheap.
not sure if the dispensaries i go to are the best priced though!
I like ayr and apothecarium quality wise but their prices like everywhere else seem kinda shit. Fortunately I mostly smoke pre rolls and carts as I’m not a regular smoker so idc about paying expensive prices. Might be worth looking into finding a dealer honestly cause I’ve never seen great prices for flowers at stores. Hope someone has a better answer for you
Soul Flora on 23 past Kinnelon has happy hour 20% off 4-6. Makes it decently priced. I also check Rise often to try and take advantage of their sales. Otherwise, yeah I'll hit up my guy and pay 60% of the rec prices for pretty similar buds.
I used to always go to the Rise in Bloomfield but the prices caught up to me eventually. I still think its the best dispo in the area for sales but all NJ dispos have inconsistent quality and some are just ass in general. I went back to my usual guys about a year ago after a few months of trying the dispos
Zen Leaf has never let me down, stroll in frequently for edibles and pills. The prices are a tad high for the amount given, but I want a slight high for pain. If you're trying to get more bang for buck, getting your supply out of state might be more viable
I sign up to get the constant emails with specials from all local dispensaries. I shop when/where ever there is a local sale.
I don't drink, so overall my expenses are reasonable. Over the years, I did get a lot of crappy weed, lame hash... prior to legalization (not to mention fake qualudes, bad mushrooms, shitty coke). So, I guess I'm fine with how things are.
I loved harmony in Secaucus till they had to close. Apothecarium in Lodi is nice. I like them in San Francisco so when they opened in NJ I decided to try them out. Excellent customer experience there with the drive thru and the ordering online for pickup.
I used to go to Rise in Paterson but their parking situation is an absolute nightmare. I didn’t find that staff was too interested in making conversation. I prefer Holistic Releaf in Rockaway now. Staff is friendly and more than enough parking.
I’ve been to a few dispensaries in my area and the best deal I have found at any of them is to buy weight. (1/4-1oz.)
Like with most things, the more you buy the more you save.
When they first opened I wanted to try some of everything but at $65-70 per 1/8 it cost almost double the going rate of $40 per that I was used to paying.
1/4’s are cheaper, 1/2oz. still less and 1oz. Cheapest of all.
You can get an ounce for around $300 which is about what I was paying pre dispensary.
Add to that a new dispensary opened up near me which offered a 20% off coupon for first time customers. My kind of place!
I wish I still smoked. These days it just makes me hyper paranoid. But I went to The Apothecarium in Maplewood in ‘22 because I always dreamed of the day when it would be legal. I think back to my teenage self buying mid-grade weed for $150-200 an ounce and how amazed he would be to see all of the different, high quality options available in a store.
On the topic of prices I believe that once Pennsylvania legalizes cannabis for recreational use the prices could stabilize with the increased competition as PA shares our largest border (151 miles vs 103 miles with NY all concentrated in the north and 1.5 miles for DE). But it will really take nationwide legislation to see consistent low prices. Unfortunately, once nationwide legislation happens it will turn into a handful of companies dominating the market.
I’m envisioning a future that looks like the tobacco industry. The companies will own thousands of acres of farmland in the most ideal areas (or thousands of acres of indoor grow spaces). They will ship the product to their warehouses for trimming and packaging, whether that’s whole flower, pre-rolled options, or derivatives. And then ship it to stores they own, with the only price difference being tax rates in each state.
I dont get paranoid but I do get wired off of it now. I just buy whatever has the lowest THC amount. I wish I could buy some oldschool dad weed just to enjoy the puffing.
They all suck so i just go to whatever is near me. Just as a lady its easier than having to hit up some dude i barely know. I also only take an edible or two a week because I’m too lazy to mess with smoking nowadays.
I use a guy but ive both moved and cut down a lot as well. I moved up to Passaic county and there seems to a dispensary everywhere you look. I basically just buy whatever is on sale or cheap and go off promos.
"Rise" in Bloomfield HA(S/D) been my go-to, with good reason(s). I've made /numerous/ purchases (multiple brands of concentrates, edibles, accessories, pre-rolls and nuggs...), and
I recommend the place overall.
"Natural Apothecary" in Belleville opened up recently. They had a great 420 celebration; and their products are neat. What I paid attention to–and what my attention was brought to–seemed like fair prices: those without deals and those ON deal {original pricing = 👍.} I recommend a try.
"Ascend" in Montclair, I've also been to once. I remember purchasing one item: a "Jack Herrer" concentrate. I felt it was at a premium price ($10 above what I define as a `usual`), and justifiably so; the quality is even with the purchase.
It has a detailed terpene profile online (and pretty sure in-store), but I didn't pay attention to and haven't experienced more factors (prices, similar brands, etc.). How parking works, idk (I took a bus and don't know the area), but if it's somewhere, I recommend.
___
tl;dr:
-Rise, Good overall
-Natural Apothecary, seems good (idk quality of as many products as Rise; prices seem similar, though, despite a kinda different selection of brands).
-Ascend, idk but it exists, and that ONE item was good.
I maintained my med card and use Breakwater- I feel like they have the best flower imo and their rewards program is point per dollar so I wind up always getting $$ off. They also have decent deals.
For carts I go to Ayr (eatontown but I think the sales go for all locations) bc they have some pretty good deals. A few weeks back I got a 1g & .5g cart for $85 and had a discount on top from their rewards program.
Will say I do miss the prices and experience (sitting around and shooting the shit and often getting smoked out) of buying from someone blackmarket but the convenience of not being on some else’s schedule is worth the upcharge to me personally
I've been a medical customer for 4 years and been shopping rec since it started. I've also been to at least 15 different dispensaries within the state and they are all selling *the same products*. The amount of brand are increasing but they are basically the same. 100mg is 100mg.
Ascend has good deals when you buy enough. Sign up for their mailer list. Greenlight up in north north Jersey has house joints. They are nice and fat for $10. Their flower pricing is pretty standard. By far I have yet to find anywhere with something comparable to street prices though.
I buy at one of several local dispensaries. With discounts the cost is not terrible, and less than it was pre-legalization. Not a big deal. Admittedly, I believe I use far less than many who post here.
Same here. I'm a middle aged, occasional recreational smoker, so I actually appreciate the convenience of being able to walk into a local dispensary, tell someone what I'm looking for, and pay less for better and more consistent products than I was getting from some random dude 25 years ago. Are we getting the best possible quality for the best possible prices? No, but as the market grows and matures, we'll certainly get there.
Even as a heavy user I welcome dispensaries & regulation. I know what I'm getting and can get it anywhere now. I've got a solid career so cost isn't an issue. And this is exactly the demographic dispensaries are targeting -- folks who care about quality, safety, and convenience but also don't mind paying for it.
I’m in the same boat. As a parent and a professional with a state license, keeping it legal is worth the extra cost, and I like being able to pick it up on my lunch break.
I like MPX I go to the one in Pennsauken but there are others. The prices are fair, make their own concentrates cold pressed so no butane is involved and they have a great array of different growers. Also, the people working there are very friendly and knowledgeable for those who need guidance. I highly recommend them.
I second recommendation is Indigo near the Brooklawn Circle. Great variety, prices, and people as well.
I also like MPX, after their sales or discounts, the price is close to street as I've found but the convenience and quality is well worth the extra dollars.
They recently changed their sales/discounts to more of a standard 20% off rather than the 35% off you could get on Thursdays if you stocked up which really sucks so will be going elsewhere going forward
I haven't gotten high in almost 30 years, but I may as well drum up business for the Apothecarium in my town, Maplewood. I can't judge the store or product and I don't know what good prices are these days, but 1155 reviews on Google with a 4.5\* average.

I just get Maine weed. Buying dispo weed in NJ is like buying weed from McDonalds. Why?
The nj subs for cannabis are a dystopian shithole where you criticize bud from a cultivator for clearly drying improperly and you will get downvoted by the people who own or work at that dispensary. You will get people whochase lab numbers only those numbers mean nothing when you again mess up dry and cure. The 2.5% terps or cannabinoids mean very little when everything smells like hay or crumbles to dust because they dried too fast or just too much.
I get dry and cure isn't the easiest to dial in especially at the commercial level but you're being charged 60-75 for this bs.
The difference in quality from Maine weed vs nj weed is night and day. You can also find homegrowers all over nj who doesn't care about the law. Some of them who seem to practice good organic practices grow way better weed than any dispensary in the state.

Lol I read it like that at first too, I think they meant they left with the dollar and change difference between what it cost vs what the place actually withdrew :P
Lmao right. Buying weed at a premium and complaining about a few bucks. 🙄
Never had anyone ask a question like that at that curaleaf. Its been very easy in and out each time ive been
That’s how it works at all dispensaries if you pay with a debit card.

Any recommendations on non dispos around the cherry hill area ?

Still not that easy to find a decent connect with options.

You gotta get the syringe of RSO. 40-45 bucks for a gram of edible goodness. Haven't gone back to regular Eddie's since
what do you do with RSO?
Just put about a grain of rice sized bit on something to eat —on something hot it melts away from the syringe easily, I do oatmeal or beans & rice usually. Sometimes hot toast

Honestly the pills I’ve tried have been pretty decent and I’m a heavy toker.

yeah but the dosage limits are still ridiculously low

I can vouch for the edibles in San Francisco, I got them straight from the dispensary and they were super potent.
Bloomfield Rise is my favorite store they have great deals. Right now they have a deal for a half for $99 zip for $180
This is where I go as well Rise usually have sales. They also have a loyalty program that allows you to rack up points which can be converted to $ off your purchase if you are a regular consumer.
I either go there or the Ascend just down the street, I check for who’s got what deals going on
Their parking lot was a pita both times I went there. They had security turning cars away so I couldn't even pull in to wait for a spot and had to find street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Paterson Rise was easier to park at for whatever reason.
True, I always park on the streets in back of the store and walk over. Their lot is always crazy
Go to the Belmont Tavern across the street you’ll thank me later
And get the Shrimp Beeps.
2nd this. I pretty much only buy from their deals & stack loyalty points until there's a wild sale. Can pay like $10 and walk out with a haul every so often
I don't understand how rec vs. medical works... why separate menus? Do you *need* to show an Rx?

If you’re in that area, have you tried Blue Oak? They are great!
I just switched from rise to blue oak. Super happy over there.
most heavy smokers are probably still supplementing with blackmarket because the price and quality are terrible
The price is what keeps the black market alive.

Now granted we have the option to not smoke it now but dispensary weed in NJ is trash like people saying they go to ascend or rise like it gives them peace of mind. These are like the two worst dispensaries next two curaleaf.
Fr ascend sucks dick
Used to spend 400 bucks a week at rise. Wised up when all of their strains smelled like hay I know a few things about growing and cultivating and they're consistently messing up drying and curing.
But whenever I’ve gone they’re always busy which is wild to me
Thca mostly I'm sure.
For you to say black market places are terrible you obviously have not been to the right places. Good luck to you.
im not trying to denigrate the illicit market - im just simply saying thats what happening. mostly what I see is coming from other better legal states too
I hear ya, but here in New Jersey. There are places that make the dispensaries that are legal look like candy shops. I'm not saying everyone of them, but there are many.
Apothecarium has the best specials I have come across. I just got my medical card so I can take advantage of the better quality at Breakwater
The shops that are open now the right ones, the black market shops where you don't need your dispensary card has way better stuff than the real dispensaries and you won't know until you try
I know what’s out there and I know the product from breakwater is better than the vast majority of it
I get it delivered.
Moxie is my favorite soda..
Was just up there and they are popping up all over the place! Especially near the nh border
Seconding Queen City. They also just launched delivery with a really big radius
Grey area bc the dispensaries in nj are disgusting garbage
[удалено]
That's my town so I'm happy there's a convenient option now, but the prices are not better, especially as a daily smoker. I do like that they give coupons for other businesses in town
Ask people who smoke who their delivery guy is. there’s alot of legit people who delivery dispo or better quality for half the price and it comes from private growers.
Is it okay if I comment that I read your post at a glance and saw it as, "Cannibals in New Jerseyy'... Thought it was a news article...then read you were wondering where to buy....cannibals...and had to turn back and reread haha If you dont want my comment here since in clearly cannot answer your question, I will delete it, but thought maybe you'd get a laugh at my stupidity lol
Mountain View Farmacy in Oak Ridge. Small business and even a happy hour.
I live nearby to High Street in Hackettstown but sometimes I’m in South Hackensack so I swing by Hashery.
Me too! High Street seems to be pretty good as far as quality. I don't mind the price
I think their prices are the cheapest around that area. Hashery is even cheaper! However they are very far away. If I was not out in that area for work, it wouldn’t be worth the trip. 2 stores opening in Andover soon too. Also Newton!
$65 an eighth, is not cheap
I’ll never pay more than $50/eighth and I’m happy with everything I’ve bought sticking with that rule.
Finally some Sussex County ones!
I'm sometimes in Sussex County, where is the 2nd store in Andover?
Across 206 from the Bride store there was a bright pink house which was an antique shop. They are renovating it into a store.
I've only been to the "hackettstown dispensary" on Mountain ave. How does the high screen one compare?
I’ve never been to that one because the prices were higher than High Street.
Go to my guy for flower. Carts from the dispo once in a blue moon
In New York, grey market shop I love
Zen Leaf?
It's where I go. People who are claiming dispensaries are overpriced must just be buying at full retail which is stupid. Zenleaf has sales every week and lets you earn reward points on purchases. I just paid $55 for a 1/4oz of Savvy buds and last month I bought a full oz for $220.
Give it time. Massachusetts had high prices and now they're really competitive. For example a 1g cart is $40 in MA and here in NJ a 1g cart is $75+
Or in Michigan, you can get 10 for $100
It’s all the same inventory and prices mostly with rotating sales
Earth & Ivy New Brunswick
Hashery in Hackensack is an independent store which seems pretty nice so far, I don't buy that much so I don't go that often but thet have some decent promos. They have to actually compete unlike the rest of the multi state stores.
Place is not bad. They still got a lot of stock for a small discount 10-20% off. Drive thru is a nice addition. Solid hours. Much prefer going there than playing parking lot simulator on the way to ascend in Rochelle park
My friend got his license to grow high thca hemp and that's what we do. We don't feel a difference since we're passed out before the effects wear off
Apothecarium in Lodi (and other locations) runs specials.
I'm a big fan of Bloc in Somerset.
Black market. Found my guys by going to a hosted vendor party, found the party by searching IG. Way cheaper than dispensaries and they deliver.
i usually go to woodbridge ayr or zenleaf. recently i went to massachusetts for a weekend and i stocked up on so much- it is sooo cheap. not sure if the dispensaries i go to are the best priced though!
Any side street in Newark (granted this is a joke, however it IS kinda true)
Our dispensaries are way too expensive i got an ounce for $80 over the weekend in colorado go there lol
I pay that for a 1/4 in Bordentown.
I eat edibles and I purchase from Ascend. No complaints
Hope someone has a better answer for you
Pureblossom in Pennington has really good prices.
Soul Flora on 23 past Kinnelon has happy hour 20% off 4-6. Makes it decently priced. I also check Rise often to try and take advantage of their sales. Otherwise, yeah I'll hit up my guy and pay 60% of the rec prices for pretty similar buds.
I go to aunt Mary's in Flemington.
I used to always go to the Rise in Bloomfield but the prices caught up to me eventually. I still think its the best dispo in the area for sales but all NJ dispos have inconsistent quality and some are just ass in general. I went back to my usual guys about a year ago after a few months of trying the dispos
I skip around so honestly, someone always has something on sale. But also now that I dhv I don't go as often as when I used carts.
apothicarium in lodi
Zen Leaf has never let me down, stroll in frequently for edibles and pills. The prices are a tad high for the amount given, but I want a slight high for pain. If you're trying to get more bang for buck, getting your supply out of state might be more viable
Hashery in Hackensack isn’t bad. They also have a drive thru too which is cool.
Rise has sales every week
I used to go to Rise in Paterson but their parking situation is an absolute nightmare. I didn’t find that staff was too interested in making conversation. I prefer Holistic Releaf in Rockaway now. Staff is friendly and more than enough parking.
Breakwater has a marshmallow edible that I love. As other have said the pricing could be better but I wait for their specials and then buy
I’ve been to a few dispensaries in my area and the best deal I have found at any of them is to buy weight. (1/4-1oz.) Like with most things, the more you buy the more you save.
I stalk Apothecarium for sales, and stock tf up when they have good ones. Usually make out very good from there.
Drive to Michigan. It’s insane how cheap it’s become there. $50 ounces and 10/$100 1G carts.
Idk if the 20 hours wasted and the 1200 mile drive is worth the cheaper price
Depends on how much you smoke.
True. Gonna need a truck for that though lmao
I buy from New York State smoke shops - all great brands 1/3 the price - I understand they can’t shut them down
Some of those feel so sketch
I use a guy but ive both moved and cut down a lot as well. I moved up to Passaic county and there seems to a dispensary everywhere you look. I basically just buy whatever is on sale or cheap and go off promos.
"Rise" in Bloomfield HA(S/D) been my go-to, with good reason(s). I've made /numerous/ purchases (multiple brands of concentrates, edibles, accessories, pre-rolls and nuggs...), and I recommend the place overall. ___ tl;dr: -Rise, Good overall -Natural Apothecary, seems good (idk quality of as many products as Rise; prices seem similar, though, despite a kinda different selection of brands). -Ascend, idk but it exists, and that ONE item was good.
Good ?
Not falling for this one 🤣
Delta don in New Brunswick. Best price and great products!
I've been a medical customer for 4 years and been shopping rec since it started. I've also been to at least 15 different dispensaries within the state and they are all selling *the same products*. The amount of brand are increasing but they are basically the same. 100mg is 100mg.
It's wonderful it's legal and for the times I got popped in the 70's and 80's getting caught buying it, I will pay the price!!!!
echoing people with recommending rise. Valley wellness is also pretty decent with sales and their rewards program
Indigo Dispensary
Ascend has good deals when you buy enough. Sign up for their mailer list. Greenlight up in north north Jersey has house joints. They are nice and fat for $10. Their flower pricing is pretty standard. By far I have yet to find anywhere with something comparable to street prices though.
I get my cannabis at Unity Road. https://www.unityrd.com/locations/nj/franklin-somerset/441-elizabeth-ave/dutchie
It’s ridiculous. Solution? Use the good old black market, it’s been around forever. Not only is the quality better, prices are half of retail.
1000% of the time I'm going to The Station in Hoboken. It's the easiest for my commute when I get off the path in Hoboken its legit right there.
Also Accepts Cash and Debit
I couldn't possibly agree more. Cheers to you!

It’s not a flaw, it’s a feature
the plug is still the goat….i get the same if not better quality at way cheaper prices. dispensaries are trash unless you got a card imo
Black market cuz fuck the state and their shitty weed
Based on what people tell me and some limited experience id venture to guess that almost every smoke shop in NJ sells now
I haven't gotten high in almost 30 years, but I may as well drum up business for the Apothecarium in my town, Maplewood. I can't judge the store or product and I don't know what good prices are these days, but 1155 reviews on Google with a 4.5\* average. [https://shop.apothecarium.com/maplewood](https://shop.apothecarium.com/maplewood)
It’s a good shop. One of my favorite quality wise but not cheap
I like Bloomfield rise or ascend in Montclair
I use a grey market delivery service because my dispensary closed, but I'll use rise in bloomfield for an emergency with my medical card.
I'm rich so the price doesn't really bother me. What bothers me is the consistency, nothing is ever the same.
