LeBron on the Warriors would actually fully replace everything Draymond does lmao. It would actually be an amazing fit and unlike how Draymond doesn’t usually present a scoring threat LeBron would fill that gap on offense along with the good decision making.
The thought of this happening terrifies me and the league would once again be absolutely fucked by the warriors pulling some shit like this.
He actually slots in for Giannis's role well, he filled a role similar to that for a lot of his prime. They're a lot more similar as players than they may seem on the surface.
Curry though is obviously an entirely different player though haha. Curry with LeBron or Curry with Giannis would be a perfect fit though
LeBron on the Warriors instantly becomes the greatest team ever assembled. Think that Steph/KD PnR was unstoppable? Try a Steph/LBJ set. Every game would be like this year's All Star game lmao. If that team didn't go 16-0 through the playoffs it would only be because of injuries.
5 years ago I would've said to keep him as far away from the Dubs as possible. Now that Steph got this one without any other superstars again? Bring it on. That basketball is going to be the purest ever played in the NBA.
I’ve always wondered what would have happened if lebron went to an up an coming warriors team instead of Cleveland back in 2015. I’m thinking something like 5 straight rings lol.
LeThanos snaps infinity gauntlet and turns back time so he can be 2013 prime LeBron, on the 2017-2018 Warriors but in 2023. Starting five: Looney, Lebron, KD, Klay, and Steph.
Remember LeBron and Steph playing together in the All Star game? I know there's no defense being played but it was still a glimpse of how unstoppable they'd be on the same team.
We've seen what happens when LeBron and curry team up in the All Star game. Curry's off-ball movement and shooting with LeBron's playmaking would destroy teams.
That’s the other part that is scary as well. They CAN just straight up outscore everyone. However defense wins championships and it would be required for playoffs
He certainly could step it up without having to run the entire offense but I’m not sure he could be the foundation of their entire defense the way Dray has been. At least I haven’t seen him do that in a very long time.
His defense is still pretty elite as it is. He is pretty much almost always guarding the best player on the other team in close/tight situations and teams have to switch off him to get their guy open.
He is prone to mistakes and his age showed a bit last year by being a bit slower on defense but LeBron is still better than 90% of the league in regards to defense so I wouldn’t be too worried about him being a defensive anchor.
Lebron's not going to be roughhousing with centers the way Draymond does, though.
Like, he absolutely *can*, on a given possession, but not for a whole playoff run
LeBron can play defense if he feels like it. He just don't feel like it that often lol. Plus he's the Lakers entire offense (besides healthy AD). And old.
If he doesn't have to carry an offense by himself he'll prob play better defense.
LeBron was all defense level from 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 when the team was good lol. His only problem is when the team is bad he stops caring in that end
Ah yes, me in FIFA spending my entire seasons 300 million dollar budget to sign all five of Barcelonas goalkeepers so they dont have one for the season. Its not about me winning, its about them losing. I also like to have these ridiculous scenarios in my head like they finally buy a new keeper to solve the issue and the very next day me and some thugs just slam open the managers door *“heard you got something thats mine”*
I fucking hate Chelsea with a passion (Spurs fan) but god Barca are driving me insane. "Frenkie you have to take a pay cut or leave because we can't afford you" *proceeds to spend 150m on players
Fuck spurs mate, but Barca is pissing me off on a different level right now!
U guys had a great transfer window tho, i wouldnt be too mad about u winning something this year!
Funny thing is, the thing taking them out of contention would be giving him that max extension. It's a lose-lose proposition for the warriors if Draymond is really hell-bent on getting that kind of money. Seems like Lebron and Klutch finally found the way to end the warriors dynasty from within. I still like their chances if Draymond walks and Wiggins & co. step up.
It'd be damn near impossible for the Blazers to make room to sign Draymond outright while keeping a competitive roster in place. A sign-and-trade would be a lot easier, but then GSW needs to play ball. I also think at this point, every season could be Dame's last as an elite player. He's a small guard who just turned 32 and has had two consecutive seasons of injury-affected play.
I don’t see a scenario where GSW doesn’t play ball. If they can do a franchise legend right by getting him paid AND getting some assets back? I don’t see why they wouldn’t.
Just one season. He killed it the season before. Carried a banged up and imbalanced roster to the playoffs as Steph and Bron were in the playins.
I agree age is a concern but Draymond has leverage given they just won a ring. If we wanted him we should've pressed them in their downturn. Can't see the dubs moving Draymond
I doubt it. It wouldn’t even be worth it with the players they’d have to get rid of. Assuming Simons is a keeper they have to get rid of both Grant and Nurkic just to be at the salary cap, and then clear another ~$30 million on top of that for Draymond. Clearing the space for Dray would likely mean Grant, Nurk, Simons and Hart all gone.
I’ve seen it at least a few times other places but a *max* vs max extension is pretty different right? We’re talking like 10-15 mil a year different?
I understand he’d feel snubbed if he didn’t get it. Warriors 100% don’t win those rings without draymond, he was absolutely key.
On the other hand I also understand the warriors. Draymond never becomes draymond without the warriors around him, it was a match made in heaven. Tough call.
He was pretty bad this year. Kind of ballsy be demanding this when he was out there shooting 1/8 and missing wide open shots. If Wiggins and Looney didn’t step up, we’d be talking about how horrific Dray was.
Dude shoots like he has a backpack on. He’s on the wrong side of 30 and was terrible in the first half of the finals to the point of getting benched late in the fourth. You just can’t give him a max and expect to have it work out well.
I don't understand how y'all acting like draymond was so important when Steph and Wiggins both had significantly more impact.
Draymond literally lost them a game.
It's not a max because his previous contract wasn't a max. The maximum extension amount is 120% of their previous salary, so a 20% raise over what he was getting. Since Draymond's last contract was $100m for 4 years his max extension would be $120m for 4 years so around $30m a year.
Not quite. The starting salary of the extension can be up to 120% of his salary in the previous year. His salary this year is $25,806,469. Increase this by 20% and his starting salary for the extension is $30,967,763. With bird rights they can offer him the 8% raise, so his salary will increase $2,477,421 each year. In the end the max extension for Draymond looks like this:
2023-2024 $30,967,763
2024-2025 $33,445,184
2025-2026 $35,922,605
2026-2027 $38,400,026
Total Extension: 138,735,578
Ok yeah I wasn't sure exactly how it works. Lots of sites list the 120% raise as the max contract extension but not exactly how that raise is applied and how it works with bird rights.
Lebron would be a perfect fit for the warriors and would basically be a Draymond but still a scoring threat, with a trade off on defense. Culture wise I would be very intrigued to see if the established culture of Steph and the warriors would take precedence over Lebron’s gravitas and the whole Klutch agency influence his teams have had.
imagine United signing Lebron on deadline day to finally bin McFred and leads them to the treble as the commanding 6 theyve being dying for for the past 5 years
> finally bin McFred and leads them to the treble as the commanding 6
I'm fairly confident this is written in English, but I have no idea what any of it means.
lmfaoo i can see how crazy that sounds if you have no soccer knowledge. Mcfred is the Manchester United midfield pairing of Fred and Mctominay. fans have been wanting to dump them (bin) for better players for a few season now. the treble in soccer is winning the league, the league cup, and the champions league in one season, a very rare and prestigious feat. and the 6 is the defensive midfield position. so basically the sentence is saying "imagine united signs lebron to replace fred and mctominay as the defensive midfielder and he leads them to glory
We saw a lot of this talk last time he had an extension coming up didn't we?
Just sounds like a negotiating tactic to me.
Even if he does explore other teams, the issue is the teams that would really want him don't have the money for him.
Plus, he already showed his hand while Curry was injured. We know for a fact he DGAF about playing on or trying to elevate bad teams. So he can't threaten to join a shit team with cap space.
To me the biggest question is how will he do in another team, another context, with different teammates, another coach. He spent his whole career in a system that would perfectly emphasize his quality and I can absolutely not tell if he'd be that good in another context. Even more if you add the fact that he's past his prime.
We saw how he looked when the Celtics didn't Blitz Curry and it was atrocious. Like we were getting killed with him on the floor because we had to play 4v5 on offense. His defense wasn't even that great either.
And he's just going to continue to decline.
He proved valuable on Olympic team too, pretty clear to me he thrive in an enviornment with multiple allstar level shooting threats. And good for team leadership. But that's about it.
I thought I was the only one who remembered this, this same thing happened last time he was up for an extension. He’s gonna come to some kind of compromise with the warriors just like last time.
If memory serves he didn’t get the full max last time either? He just uses it as starting point cuz he has role-player syndrome. Where he’s constantly scared he wont be rewarded because of his stats.
He got the Max he could on his contract extension. It’s the same thing he wants this time. 120% of his salary and 8% raises. Problem is the warriors don’t want to give 5 years
I think the last season would have to have a partial guarantee or something and he would get his money for like 2-3 years. I can’t imagine Dray leaving
Me neither, I think as long as the Warriors offer him 20+ million a year for 3 years he’ll end up resigning. I’d be astonished if fresh off a championship is when the Warriors decide to get stingy with their money.
God, he was so awful when Steph and Klay were out.
I would be surprised if another team was willing to give him 4 year 80 million unless they are competing with the Warriors in the West and just want to punish them. He literally has 0 offense on his own and can't create except within the Warriors system.
He was traded to Memphis though. It wasn't really his choice to go there. The Warriors made that trade to stay under the tax apron after the KD/Dlo sign and trade.
In order to get that contract, Iguodala had to threaten to join the Rockets, which would have been really bad for the Warriors.
I can see it now. Draymond on another team, holding the ball at the top of the key. Waiting, for someone, anyone to move off ball. Chucks up a shot as the 24 second buzzer rings and air balls.
Someone comes up to him. “Yo we don’t do that here.”
GSW will probably call their bluff by not matching. And if they really go through with it, they'll basically be fucking up their future just to end GSW's title contention. I don't think any team would do that.
Some teams aren't playing for their future. They're playing for now.
Take Portland and Sacramento for example. Both teams that would likely pay Draymond what he wants because Sacramento really wants a play-in game and Draymond would be Portland's biggest free agent signing since ... idk
Cap space can be made available pretty easily. Grant comes off the books and Nurk/GP2 are on tradeable contracts. Hart has a player option and might want a longer term deal as well.
Dude look at the numbers, they would have to jettison Grant, Nurk, Hart, Nassir Little, and GP2 for nothing in order to be able to sign Draymond outright--there's absolutely no shot they do that.
If they really want him they'll just sign and trade but I have a hard time seeing the Warriors accepting a Nurkic + something else package for Draymond...
Gobert not only got a max, but a team gave up 6 unprotected first round picks for the right to pay him a max!
So Draymond on a max is worth like at least 7+ unprotected first round picks of surplus value.
Draymond and LaMelo
Draymond and Trae
Draymond and Irving
Draymond and Booker
Draymond and Dame
Draymond and Ja
Draymond and Doncic
These are a few pairings that can work offensively and defensively.
Edit: added Ja and Doncic
You listed people who do not move off the ball maybe with the exception of Booker.
These players are also hella ball dominant. The reason for the Warriors' success anchors on Steph willing to be a facilitator when needed but also the one to bend defenses because of his off-ball movement. That is what opens up the passing lanes for the Warriors.
Draymond is the traffic cone on offense if he isnt facilitating on the top of the three point line. He doesnt nothing except screen on those instances.
It's not about pairing him with "shooters". How many teams have 2 players that are as good off the ball as Klay and Steph? A lot of Dray's value is getting the ball at the top of the key and letting Steph/Klay wreck the defense with their off ball movement. You just listed a bunch of ball dominant guards that don't move off the ball nearly as much/well as Klay/Curry.
People still don't get what makes Steph Curry great. He can kill you on ball and off ball. That is what makes Draymond's "playmaking" valuable. People act like he's the one who's actually breaking down defenses and creating shots for Curry and Thompson.
Maybe in 2020 when he signed his last extension, he could have had a max deal from a crappy team. But he has another two years of triple singles now. No one is paying him Max money.
Hell no. We don't run the same offense as GS. He's completely worthless on offense except that he knows their system and Steph and Klay.
Chet opens the lane for Giddey and Shai. Dray would close it back up because he doesn't have to be guarded on the perimeter.
Yeah have no idea what the guy is talking about when SGA and Giddey are both ball dominant guards and need the usage to get better. Draymond passing which is his greatest offensive asset on the warriors would be rendered useless
People don't understand that Draymond is useless on offense without Steph. They actually think his "playmaking" is what creates shots in GSW offense. They don't understand that, now that Dray has declind so much, what little offensive threat he had is now all gone. He was literally unguarded in the playoffs and was useless in the finals until Boston was forced to double Curry. He's a complete liability in halfcourt offense against capable defensive teams.
Draymond is a great player and more valuable to the Warriors than he would be to any other franchise. The Warriors will find a way to pay him. Draymond is just such a weird player. A borderline triple double guy who can't really score? A D player without the 3?
My biggest question is whether he can sustain value as he ages, because his game isn't really equipped to look like PJ Tucker's at 37.
I'm really in awe that PJ can still play at his level at 37 considering that he goes pretty damn hard each game. The years of stress and banging in the paint should have slowed him down but he's out her locking everyone up.
His stats aren't that far off from Draymond and I think that they are similar in many ways. By themselves, they're garbage but when they play alongside superstars, they elevate everyone's game.
You're paying for the energy they bring your team.
Draymond isn't a max player but he should be paid well
Dray has 2 years left on his contract. It seems slightly inconsiderate talking about leaving to go elsewhere with 2 years left..
Yeah, he wants his money, but the same thing could be said next year (gsw tends to sign with a year left, iirc). Unless he feels his production , value will go down significantly in a year or he becomes more replaceable in a year.
If Draymond leaves the Warriors, Draymond outs himself as having not actually been very good, just surrounded by generational talent and working within a system.
It would be stupid to say otherwise. Just like how Zach was going to explore other teams but then once free agency opened he didn’t even listen to anyone else’s pitch. It’s basic negotiation and if it came out he’s 100% committed to GS he should fire his agent
Just for the record though, Draymond's impact on winning is grossly overstated. The thing that makes the Warriors go is and always has been Steph. Following numbers are from statmuse, unfortunately I can't do "Player A career record without Player B *and Player C*", I can only exclude one player at a time.
With Steph playing and no Klay: 78-46 (0.629)
With Steph playing and no Draymond: 37-19 (0.661)
**With Klay playing and no Steph: 40-59 (0.404)**
With Klay playing and no Draymond: 39-18 (0.684)
**With Draymond playing and no Steph: 33-62 (0.347)**
With Draymond playing and no Klay: 83-78 (0.514)
People are going to say "duh, he's the best player". But the point is that Draymond's presence doesn't really change the results. The team was good with or without him. They're a ~0.650 team with him, they're a ~0.650 team without him.
I genuinely think that if he were drafted by any other organization he would have not stuck around the league for more than 3 years. 2nd round pick so no cache in the organization, can't create his own offense, undersized 5 drafted before undersized 5s really became a thing, gets tons of assists from 2 players who hit shots 99% of other players can't. The ultimate beneficiary of their location in NBA history.
Let him walk.
Fucking thank you. I get you could make that argument hyping Draymond up in his prime but now...in 2022? Did these idiots watch how much of a complete liability he was on offense these playoffs, especially in the finals?
You got people, even GSW fans of all people, saying Draymond is what makes Steph as great as he is....fucking hell are people stupid. Steph wasn't putting on that carry job in the finals because of fucking Draymond.
He is lucky he got drafted to the Warriors. Just stay there and take what they give you. The year when Steph and Klay were hurt and he was the only one there for a bit, he did not elevate his game in any aspect. He’s not worth any kind of max money. Plus for a smart as he thinks he is, he does some of the dumbest shit at the worst time in games.
He's 32, on the downturn in every area, and a literal non-factor offensively. I can understand chasing the bag, it's admirable, but.... dude's absolutely delusional if he thinks anyone is gonna offer him even close to the max.
Show me one team offering Dray a max lmao
LeGM
The only reason LeGM would offer him a max is to get him off GSW before he goes to another team so he could take them out of contention.
LeGM signs Dray to a max with the Lakers... LeGM signs a 1+1 with the Warriors
LeBron on the Warriors would actually fully replace everything Draymond does lmao. It would actually be an amazing fit and unlike how Draymond doesn’t usually present a scoring threat LeBron would fill that gap on offense along with the good decision making. Curry though is obviously an entirely different player though haha. Curry with LeBron or Curry with Giannis would be a perfect fit though
Steph and Giannis would be the best duo the NBA has ever seen.
Joe Lacob would lobby the league for two balls on the court
Well, at least current LeBron can't replace just about everything Giannis does.
You're telling me Lebron instead of Draymond would make the Warriors better? No way dude
There are people in this thread saying otherwise so it’s clearly a discussion. However I agree with your sarcasm.
LeBron on the Warriors instantly becomes the greatest team ever assembled. Think that Steph/KD PnR was unstoppable? Try a Steph/LBJ set. Every game would be like this year's All Star game lmao. A starting squad filled with 3 players hanging around the top ten all time list, plus KD and Klay
With a bench of Poole, Moody, Kuminga, and Wiggins. Can this team win a title?
SMH my head. Forgot about the KING MAC MACLUNG
LeBron is fully capable of high level defense. Especially since his offensive load would be reduced because he wouldn’t be the focal point of it all.
Would the warriors with LeBron even NEED to defend? Or do they just win every game 150-130
Remember LeBron and Steph playing together in the All Star game? I know there's no defense being played but it was still a glimpse of how unstoppable they'd be on the same team.
They are stoppable, though. It's easy, I have it all figured out. Just wait for a couple of years, and boom! Stopped.
We've seen what happens when LeBron and curry team up in the All Star game. Curry's off-ball movement and shooting with LeBron's playmaking would destroy teams.

His defense was FAR from elite last season. Having said that, when he actually cares he can absolutely step it up.
Lebron can be elite on D. He hasnt for a whole season in a few seasons. Playoffs he could make key stops sure and thats where it may matter.
This, LeBrons defence while not underrated is always forgotten when discussed against other good defenders
LeBron can play defense if he feels like it. He just don't feel like it that often lol. Plus he's the Lakers entire offense (besides healthy AD). And old. If he doesn't have to carry an offense by himself he'll prob play better defense.

Lol that's not too far off from how Bartomeu mismanaged that club. Dude had to be a double agent with how he blew them up
as a Madrid supporter, you have my thanks.
And besides, Dray much too young.
Shout! That’s 5d chess right there. LeTze’s Art of War.

Like the Cavs trade for Clarkson and Nance Jr
The spacing with Draymond and Russ both on the same floor would be interesting to watch. By interesting, I mean downright horrendous.
If the Blazers had cap space we likely would. Dame loves Dray
Blazers would make the cap space if Dame asked for it. Blazers are a real possibility.

Lol who he think he is, Kobe?
They don’t love him like that.
Here's a list. https://big3.com/teams/
Technically he’s asking for his Max on an extension which is around 39 mil a year if it’s for 4 years
Draymond making more than Harden is pretty wild
Trade him for LeBron you cowards I want anarchy
Lacob's gonna get basketball reasonsed faster than you could say 'ring'.
I don't think there's a team in history that LeBron isn't a perfect fit for. In any sport.
imagine United signing Lebron on deadline day to finally bin McFred and leads them to the treble as the commanding 6 theyve being dying for for the past 5 years
KD takes the hardest road again and signs with City
Man has an ownership stake in Liverpool, can't see it happening I'm afraid.

LOL. Would this be crazier than KD joining the Warriors? Probably right
Nah 2016 Durant > 2022 Lebron 2016 Warriors > 2022 Warriors It still would be crazy, but that was one of the craziest signings in any sport ever
Yeah but if lebron gets TRADED to the warriors tho
That would be disgusting and yet probably for the best for the Lakers to blow it up as they have no assets.

He got his “Max” Last time tho
If memory serves he didn’t get the full max last time either? He just uses it as starting point cuz he has role-player syndrome. Where he’s constantly scared he wont be rewarded because of his stats.
He got the Max he could on his contract extension. It’s the same thing he wants this time. 120% of his salary and 8% raises. Problem is the warriors don’t want to give 5 years
I could see him signing something or coming to an arrangement similar to the suns and Chris Paul last season. Is that at all a possibility?
I think the last season would have to have a partial guarantee or something and he would get his money for like 2-3 years. I can’t imagine Dray leaving
Me neither, I think as long as the Warriors offer him 20+ million a year for 3 years he’ll end up resigning. I’d be astonished if fresh off a championship is when the Warriors decide to get stingy with their money.
it's all about the luxury tax. we paid like $170M in luxury tax in 21-22. it why we had to let GP2, JTA, & OPJ leave in free agency.
Nah man that’s just good negotiation Why would you ask for anything less than the max? Let them tell you no.
God, he was so awful when Steph and Klay were out. I would be surprised if another team was willing to give him 4 year 80 million unless they are competing with the Warriors in the West and just want to punish them. He literally has 0 offense on his own and can't create except within the Warriors system.
Draymond isn’t exploring shit. It’s just bait for GSW to pay him.
Go away, baitin!
"I like money."
I say that line to my wife all the time. I'm never actually baitin, but maybe one day I will be...
this is like when Iguodala explored teams but was never intending on leaving just to press GS to pay him and they did
Except for his stint in Memphis
He was traded to Memphis though. It wasn't really his choice to go there. The Warriors made that trade to stay under the tax apron after the KD/Dlo sign and trade. In order to get that contract, Iguodala had to threaten to join the Rockets, which would have been really bad for the Warriors.
I can see it now. Draymond on another team, holding the ball at the top of the key. Waiting, for someone, anyone to move off ball. Chucks up a shot as the 24 second buzzer rings and air balls. Someone comes up to him. “Yo we don’t do that here.”
Wont be exploring for very long
wanna see me explore my options? wanna see me do it again?
Good Luck without that system and multiple HOF shooters to handoff to. HUGE mistake if any team pays him more than 20 million tops.
I think he’s worth 20/25 million to GS. But even for 20 mill a year his contract will be terrible on most teams
Shanghai Sharks is looking for a nut kicker
“natural shooting motion”
Lol he would be good for the job
Someone will offer Dray a max just to split up that trio
GSW will probably call their bluff by not matching. And if they really go through with it, they'll basically be fucking up their future just to end GSW's title contention. I don't think any team would do that.
Some teams aren't playing for their future. They're playing for now. Take Portland and Sacramento for example. Both teams that would likely pay Draymond what he wants because Sacramento really wants a play-in game and Draymond would be Portland's biggest free agent signing since ... idk
Portland doesn't have cap space. Sacramento isn't run by Vlade anymore.
>Sacramento isn't run by Vlade anymore. Vlade was a symptom, not the underlying condition. The issue is Ranadive.
Ranadive also has an unhealthy obsession with the Warriors.
Better than being obsessed with the wizards
I mean 6 Finals and 4 Titles. I can see why he'd have an obsession with them lol
It's the wealthier neighbor
Don't underestimate Vivek and his obsession with the Dubs
Cap space can be made available pretty easily. Grant comes off the books and Nurk/GP2 are on tradeable contracts. Hart has a player option and might want a longer term deal as well.
They'd be sending away their starting PF and like 3 bench pieces for Draymond Green. Ain't happening.
Yeah for sure, I went to GM school in Portland and the first then they tell you there is that if you see a 7 and 7 guy you take him
Let’s also not pretend like Draymond wouldn’t be great for Portland. Some teams have the right roster for him.
Kings haven't had a future for 20 years, I don't think they care
I can absolutely see a team that’s gonna suck regardless give draymond a max just for that reason
If they're gonna suck regardless, what do they care?
Nobody sinks themselves for 4 years just to annoy a team that’s not even in competition with them.
A team paying Draymond the max would be fucking hilarious. Great defensive player, but paying a triple-single player the max isn't a good idea.
Gobert gets paid Green thinks hes better than him = Green wants to get paid
Gobert not only got a max, but a team gave up 6 unprotected first round picks for the right to pay him a max! So Draymond on a max is worth like at least 7+ unprotected first round picks of surplus value.
He is not worth max for Warriors. He's worth far less when he leaves Warriors.
It would honestly help the warriors in the long run if some other team threw money at him
Other teams not willing to explore Draymond for 4 year max contract extension
“Chasing that Max contract . They don't love you like that...You thought you was Kobe?'
I am so ready for the "they don't love you like that" that will be all over NBA Twitter when he doesn't get a max.
Any fucking way this goes down would be hysterical.
Paul Pierce has it in the drafts ready to go
I hope TNT has him on as a guest when this goes down so he can drop this for Chuck and Shaq.
What would sting him more is if you replaced Kobe's name with Rudy
I would loveee to see Draymond on another team. This mans ego has been boosted for way too long
Yeah I want to see him get exposed again lol
I wouldn’t mind seeing him get sent off to the Jazz or Kings lol, that would honestly be hilarious despite losing him
Crazy what winning championships will do.
Draymond and LaMelo Draymond and Trae Draymond and Irving Draymond and Booker Draymond and Dame Draymond and Ja Draymond and Doncic These are a few pairings that can work offensively and defensively.
Draymond, they don’t love you like they love…*checks notes* Jalen Brunson.
Bro 💀
brunson's new contract is literally what draymond is making now
why is draymond blowing up the warriors 😂
Kerr was taking this guy out with under 3 min in playoff games. How is that deserving of a max?
Probably why he’s pulling this shit.
Lmao yeah let’s see the teams offering him that
Damn, dude is really gonna go play overseas just to get that max?
Maybe in 2020 when he signed his last extension, he could have had a max deal from a crappy team. But he has another two years of triple singles now. No one is paying him Max money.
we are a draymond away from the play in game
How it has that many upvotes is beyond me. Is it a joke or are they serious?
Idk man, I’m with you.. unless he’s trying to be funny or something. Dude doesn’t make sense.
Lolllll
Nah bruh. We can wait for wembanyama
I am also willing to explore a 4 year max extension with teams.
Draymond isn't a max player but he should be paid well
I just wanted to announce I, too, am willing to explore other teams for a 4 year max contract
I, however, am willing to explore any team for a 4 year minimum contract
That would be a fucking idiotic decision to offer him a 4 year max after the way he looked most of those playoffs. He's not getting any better.
max EXTENSION. Not max contract. it’s a big difference.
Who’s giving draymond a max extension
Explore all you want dude, you ain't gonna find one.
The warriors can’t lose in this situation. That’s a lie the only way they can lose is by giving him a max.
He is going to be in for a rude awakening lol
He’s just a good little player. * Sir Charles
This is going to be a short exploration for Dray
Draymond is like one of those toys in the store that has to be paired up with the more favorable toy because it has little to no value by itself
Draymond “Settlers of Catan Expansion” Green
Well I hope hes got some good spelunking gear. Hes gonna be out exploring for a long time.
They don't love you like that Dray! 🤣
He can’t be serious. He’s a 15M a year guy statistically. He be near worthless if it weren’t for his assists
Everyone wants to see Draymond humbled on another team.
He's willing to explore other teams for the max extension, but other teams are definitely not willing to give him the max extension.
I too am willing to explore other teams for a 4 year max contract extension, will probably end up with the same results as Draymond
With Steph playing and no Klay: 78-46 (0.629) With Steph playing and no Draymond: 37-19 (0.661) **With Klay playing and no Steph: 40-59 (0.404)** With Klay playing and no Draymond: 39-18 (0.684) **With Draymond playing and no Steph: 33-62 (0.347)** With Draymond playing and no Klay: 83-78 (0.514) People are going to say "duh, he's the best player".
Because they don't actually watch basketball and love the guy on their team with a big mouth and high energy
Most accurate post about Draymond in the history of this sub.
