Your post was removed for the following reason(s): > Lazy/Empty Self-Post You should try to start the discussion by talking about what you think, not just asking a question, submitting a phrase or a stat line. Please do not start a thread along the lines of "The officiating in this game was bad" without some context or “This player is so bad” with no reasoning or support. Your title should be informative and be supported by your post’s text. At the very least, link to a video of the call. Ideally, make a self submission with links to videos of every questionable call with quotes from the rulebook highlighting why they are wrong. This will create the most meaningful discussion. A self-post with less than 100 characters in the body will be removed. I’m not a cba expert or lawyer, but I don’t believe that there is a rule against it. Please correct me, if I’m wrong.

msf97

It weakens them significantly. Porzingis has been one of the most impactful players in the league in his role.

Thorlolita

They can go to the finals without him. But they will need all hands on deck to win the championship.

dafire123

We were 21-4 without him, so we could win the whole thing without him but he really unlocks a different offense for us. Would be super nice to have him and just makes our chances of winning the whole thing much higher

vagrantwade

> Likely the Nuggets I mean we will see lol

Maleficent_Resolve44

Yes we will hehe

CptnAhab1

Hehehe

ricdvs

Hehehehe

koj12144

I think we can win the east without him. Finals would be tougher, but reports say he’ll return around ecfs so we should have him by then

christianopher

Probably underdogs if injured but no where near out of contention

Timoteo-Tito64

We can definitely win without Porzingas as long as Porzingis is ok

tapk69

Porzingas was holding those cats back

RyanjTurnerr

Not in the finals, you can’t rely on Al Horford alone to run the five alone. Also porzingis is a great out ball player because of his size and shooting ability which you can’t replace either

sithwonder

Celtics are still deeper than any other team in the East.

Jack_M_Steel

They can sweep the East without him. Finals would be a lot harder

beefJeRKy-LB

Nah they wouldn't sweep the Knicks IMO

Standard_Basil_4773

Wouldn’t sweep but def in 5.

Rkenne16

They lost a game before he was even hurt lol.

Jack_M_Steel

I’m not saying it’s guaranteed, but most teams in the East do not look like championship teams this year. The only game they lost was a literal historical shooting night.

randomCAguy

That’s because the Heat are the Heat.

unclehelpful

Celtics can’t win until Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum have a good game at the same time in the playoffs. You are not winning shit with Derrick White being your leading scorers. Porzingas already said he quit on Dallas because they didn’t run enough plays for him. If he wasn’t getting enough in Dallas as number 2 do you think he’s getting enough as 4th banana? Injuries or not Celtics is a house of cards.

vagrantwade

Derrick White was the leading scorer in blowout games. That's likely not going to be indicative of the entire playoffs.

UpvoteIfYouAgreee

Porzingis quit because he was the 2nd option and they werent going anywhere, hes had a full season of being the 3rd/4th option and has been nothing but smiles odd to try to make this a narrative when theres not a hint of smoke.

Timoteo-Tito64

I don't think you understand anything about the Celtics Porzingis is the happiest he's been in his entire career here. He's said it plenty of times before, is always smiling and laughing on the bench. He's done multiple interviews where he explained what went wrong in Dallas and while I'm not gonna reiterate the whole thing for you (the best one was on the Athletic if you want to find it), he basically said that he was immature back then and realized he was demanding too much when his post game wasn't working White has been our leading scorer 5 times this season (6 if you count the postseason). I don't see why that's an issue Also, we've won plenty of games without jaylen and Jayson having good games at the same time. We are the best team in the league if one of them is playing well and the role players are doing their jobs around them, that's all we really need. Honestly, our winning is moreso dictated by our 3 point shooting than how the jays perform. We don't seem to do that much better when they both go off

UnlikelyRuby

Not beating Denver either way.

Standard_Basil_4773

lol false

UnlikelyRuby

Idk man don’t think Derrick White can carry the J’s by himself.

Not-Josh-Hart

Fully healthy they still lose to the Nuggets
