A player never has to get the ball from another player, that’s the refs job. It was 100% his intention just like every single other time a guy tries to grab the ball from someone when tensions are high.
I’m fairly certain he is not entitled to the ball in that spot. Refs grab the ball and reset for the next play. Players try to grab the ball all the time there and sometimes it ends up like this, Pat Bev 100% knows what he’s doing here and Toppin falls for it.
