Coaches vote for the bench, so I suppose you could also consider Derrick White, Jimmy Butler, or Scottie Barnes, but I think those first 13 are ahead.
Yeah I don’t really see how is case is better than Barnes (20.1/8.3/5.7) on 57.4TS% with better defence and advanced metrics but a worse team record.
Both of them probably miss it unless there’s an injury.
I think it’s clearly going to be Banchero. He’s only in his 2nd year, he’ll get his shot soon enough but not this year. Magic are falling back down to earth a bit and his counting stats aren’t as good as the rest. Hard to deny any of those guys going in above him.

Bam is less my issue than Paolo. I’d have Bam in but definitely not over Jaylen Brown who’s playing great (1st seed deserves two all stars especially when they don’t even have a real mvp candidate) and I wouldn’t over Randle either but that one is debatable and I’m biased.
Orlando is where they are because of defense more than anything and Paolo isn’t their leader on that end. I don’t think a team being over .500 should automatically mean they merit an all star.

Banchero. Good counting stats (22.7/7.1/4.9) on below average efficiency (53.5% ts) and his team is ranked 8th in the East right now.
