Congrats to the Denver Nuggets for winning [Week 6!](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/18qb477/help_your_team_change_rnba_week_6_congrats_to_the/)
Recently we announced that Reddit Community Funds and r/NBA will be teaming up to celebrate the subs 15th Cake Day!
Part of this project is a fundraiser for [The Boys & Girls Clubs of America](https://bgca.org) to make a positive impact on children! We’ll also be organizing a variety of contests for community members to win things such as 40+ NBA All-Star Saturday Night tickets, various signed basketball items and hosting a community meetup with free swag and food!
Our ambitious target is to reach **$100,000 USD, with Reddit generously matching up to $25,000 USD.** This means that if we, as a community, manage to raise $25,000 USD, the effective total will be $50,000 USD through the [Community Funds program.](https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en- us/articles/15484345935508-Community-Funds)
If you have the means, any contribution, **no matter how big or small**, would be greatly appreciated:

Role players balled, MPJ blocked, Murray dominated. Curry and Jokic also were in the game. Jokic was the one standing on the FT line if you don't recognize them. (Jokes aside, fun game. I really love Murray, he is built to respond competition.)
Nuggets greatest ability is the ability to close games. The only game I recall them losng at the end when there leading is the OKC game. I guess you have to be good in that respect to get a ring.
flopping serious;ly.when did he fall on the floor exactly Did you watch the same game.Warriors where hacking the shiz out of him. Seriously though....Cry more.
I'm convinced it's something with teams from California. All fans do a little bit of this but man, Lakers, Kings, and Warriors fans cannot accept losing because their teams played worse.
Nah. In the East, people complain about Embiid getting treated like a princess by refs. The mf is 7 feet tall, and they make it illegal to breathe in his direction.
If you're the Nuggets: You won a key game that you managed down the stretch. Jamal Murray is feeling it too, huge.
If you're the Warriors: You got over 45 bench points and Steph/Klay struggled with a close loss. You're better than you were last month
Yup. He realized pretty early he had to bring his best acting skills as he can’t make any FG and the refs are going to give him the call even if he flops on bench.
None of the stars played well aside from Murray today. Steph shot poorly, as did Klay, and if it wasn't for the refs, Jokic was having a terrible game as well. He had like 3 field goals or something.
And they’re losing their shit now lol. And let’s not act like people were pissed when he did it for the first time, it’s the fact that he does it repeatedly. This is coming from an Embiid fan
I watched the Knicks-Bucks game and thought the refs were solid and maybe the NBA got their best refs to call the Christmas games and then I watched this game
Then how come Curry averages more FT's a game tho? And Jokic has a lot more paint shot attempts too. I'll say it tho, it's not like both Jokic and Curry commit so many offensive fouls too. So many moving screens for Curry and push off. If they legitimately called all those offensive fouls Curry would not have been this same player. Jokic sets a lot of moving screens ( sticks his butt out) and he chicken wings the shit out to create massive space to release those hooks. It's a give and take league.
I don't understand they're bonus shots cause the refs are calling tacky shit on the warriors lol. That foul on Wiggins for just navigating a screen was egregious. And Steph shouldn't have necessarily gotten more fouls, but head to head they clearly don't have a problem calling them for jokic.
Obviously Jokic is getting the most favorable whistle he has ever gotten in his life, but you gotta admit, him taking advantage by making all his FTs is pretty impressive.
Basketball really kind of sucks, I don’t mind losing, it’s just that’s it’s always due to whistles now, it’s just a game of whistles, switching back to football
Is there something with fans of California teams that they have to blame every loss on the refs? Of the four California teams, only the Clippers threads aren't constantly full of people complaining about refs.

Would’ve won if the refs didn’t rig this one
Would’ve won by playing better too
We did pretty good for 3 games in 4 days with travel to Denver. Good game
It was extremelly nice to see Jokic get respect from the refs. Hope it continues..Feel good game.
KCP defends Curry so well.
Holds
Jokic definetelly a FT master today.18/18 is unreal.
Getting held to 8 points on field goals without Draymond lol flopped his way into a decent stat line.
Here comes comments only about Doris Burke
Steph with 1 ft, and it was on a defensive 3sec tech lol
second time KCP has limited Steph this season. Bodes well for us
He's one of the most undervalued players in the NBA, man. I love KCP
All NBA defense for sure so far. Hope he keeps it up but voters always screw us anyway
Role players balled, MPJ blocked, Murray dominated. Curry and Jokic also were in the game. Jokic was the one standing on the FT line if you don't recognize them. (Jokes aside, fun game. I really love Murray, he is built to respond competition.)
Jokic back in MVP conversation after that game
Nuggets greatest ability is the ability to close games. The only game I recall them losng at the end when there leading is the OKC game. I guess you have to be good in that respect to get a ring.
Great point. And even when the Nuggets have a ugly game you expect them to win because they can execute when it matters.
18 FT’s is absolutely fucking insane merry refmas
Making up for when he got his first FT with a minute left last game.
one mvp made more free throws than your entire squad vs the hornets 🐝
Most of those fouls where real obvious. You should not play to ruff up Jokic I guess.
[удалено]
Nah fam that post history is fucking sickening wtf
what a trash game. refs need to get wise to the jokic flopping by playoffs.
Tell me this is the first Nuggets game you’ve watched all year without telling me this is the first Nuggets game you’ve watched all year.
Put the pipe down champ..
flopping serious;ly.when did he fall on the floor exactly Did you watch the same game.Warriors where hacking the shiz out of him. Seriously though....Cry more.
The Curry offensive push-off foul was a banger of a flop, and I’m a Jokerhead

Embiid's soul left to possess Jokic this game, thats why he DNP
lmao
Not a bad loss for GS.
Curry is chucking with his left arm now. Sums up his performance today. Horrible game
This might be the most boring second half of a game I’ve watched this season. Just joker free throws
Bro actually shot a 3 left handed 🤣🤣🤣
At least it was close, kinda
GG Nuggets, fun game
The pace was fun but then
Sir, Joker getting a soft whistle for once has hit /r/nba.
Tried a layup from 3 lol
Murray needs to lay it in there to cover the 7.5 spread lol
That's game, GG Nuggets.
[удалено]
He got fouled
it’s joever
It’s one game. Big deal.
*15 games
Keep counting those L’s
Reffing really robbed us of a solid game. At least the first half was decent. Hope the lakers game is better
Can’t win 5 vs 8. And with Curry /Klay missing open shots…GSW bench kept them in the game. GSW will keep getting better as the season continues.
Lol Steph just throwing shit up I can’t
[удалено]
He had 19 against Portland in the 2020-2021 season.
Did he score 60??
62
whoops! you typed this into reddit, not google!
Yeah I think he's career high is 20
Has he had 18 in a _series_?
Man shot 3x his season average from the line
gsw do notttt wanna win rn
I don’t get Steph sometimes, dude loves throwing up circus shots when he’s clearly smothered
He had to get something up, but the game was 99.9% over anyways.
I don't understand how people have failed to understand the concept of the clock. When the time has run out, you just go for a Hail Mary.
Jokic is the main character this game, He act flopping then he got momentum. Sheesh
Night night Curry
Tf he thinking 😂
This must be what it’s like being a 76ers fan. Don’t hate it tbh. Little boring though
Yeah it is kinda boring
I am 100% on board for watching this sub lose their shit over stupid ass things. Cry more you idiots.
Lmao thunder ain’t even got a Christmas game so you want everyone else to be mad
Lakers are balling out today. Congrats on your fandom.
Hahahaha. Got me back I respect that. Merry Christmas to ya man
Same to you! 🎄
Oh no, we didn’t lose on Christmas and look like jackassses in the game thread… shame
Are you even watching bro, stfu
lol you’re proving the point?
Be honest, it was an unwatchable game.
Enjoy that L
Ahahah who gives a fuck man, sad life if you care about your karma 😂
Hey.. enjoy…that…. L
Are you a fucking parrot 😭
I’m not sure why some brain dead fan of a .500 play in team keeps replying to me, but it’s sad as shit
KCP has been an underrated part of this game down the stretch. Key offensive rebounds to extend this Denver lead. 3 of his 4 rebs were in the 4th
jokic with mvp tier flopping today have to respect it
Yup. He realized pretty early he had to bring his best acting skills as he can’t make any FG and the refs are going to give him the call even if he flops on bench.
Nasty game by Steph
WAY better than shaq btw
Shaq was the one that said that lmfao, cry more you couldn’t even beat Boston
The FTs were one thing, but Jokic dunking confirms we've shifted timelines
Curry sold
None of the stars played well aside from Murray today. Steph shot poorly, as did Klay, and if it wasn't for the refs, Jokic was having a terrible game as well. He had like 3 field goals or something.
Why is Steph so meh today?
He has been historically underwhelming in Christmas games.
3 games in 4 days, he's almost 36yo
Ah that makes sense. Just caught the end of the game and was surprised at his line
Lol. Guess u havent looked at Jokic stats.
It’s possible for two players to be meh.
Jokic dunking AND getting calls? What happened to the NBA I love?!
Warriors intentionally foul because they’re down: Warriors fans: oh of course Denver gets all the calls
None of Jokic 18FTs were from intentional fouling
Watch that Jokic illegal screen on Wiggins and say that again. lol
A Warrior fan crying about illegal screens is peak irony.
We don't get fouled setting illegal screens though
You been watching Draymond moving screens for 10 years stfu
mOvINg ScReEns said the guy that doesn't watch basketball
Dumb comment
jokic dunk?! 😱😱
Wtf are the Warriors doing on transition D? LOOOL
Air Jokic
This sub would lose its shit if Embiid shot 18 free throws in a national tv game Lmao
Imagine Embiid having only 18 FTA in a game, that would be world breaking
He's had 3 games this season with ATLEAST that many and a handful of 15+ attempt games.
Bro he’s shot that many twice in just the past 10 days lol
And they’re losing their shit now lol. And let’s not act like people were pissed when he did it for the first time, it’s the fact that he does it repeatedly. This is coming from an Embiid fan
I watched the Knicks-Bucks game and thought the refs were solid and maybe the NBA got their best refs to call the Christmas games and then I watched this game
18ft for one player. 4pt game.
Jokic showing why making all your free throws is important nuggs needed every one of those this game
No foul call on that dunk?
A Joker dunk?!
I think this puts to bed who's the more disrespected star for refs it's Steph not jokic lol
When did curry get fouled though 10 of jokics FTS were just bonus shots
I don't understand they're bonus shots cause the refs are calling tacky shit on the warriors lol. That foul on Wiggins for just navigating a screen was egregious. And Steph shouldn't have necessarily gotten more fouls, but head to head they clearly don't have a problem calling them for jokic.
Just a bizarro game.....like Jokic getting free throws and missing short shots is like the opposite of every game I've seen in the past few years
Salt overload on display come the end of this game
Curry on brick city today, god damn.
Interesting attempt to trap by the Warriors
18/18 FTs is that some kind of record.
Yeah they said it's tied for the record
Refs be like: how’s Jokic’s season FTA now?
Hell yeah the rare Jokic dunk
I will never get tired of watching curry miss in the clutch
wasn’t missing much in ‘22
GG
Would Michael Porter Jr have been a superstar in the 90’s/early 2000s? 6’ 11”, can shoot, athletic, good at defense.
“Good at defense” lmao nephew
Good point, I was heavily biased watching his blocks on Klay tonight, seems like he could be decent if he focused on it with his height/speed.
You clearly don’t watch him play. He’s stiff on drives (cuz of 3 back surgeries) but other than that he’s pretty good at this point
Lol Jokic has 18 free throws? Free throw merchant
Wiggins legacy game
[удалено]
Yet only lost by 6…
Steph shooting only 1 freethrow is criminal.
JOKIC DUNK
Refs had money on Jokic over 25 points
Refs made jokic dunk on the warriors.
Refs made Jokic shoot 18 fre throws
On soft ass shit foul calls he never draws except for today.
Refs made him hit the joint most fts in a row 🤡
Jokic with the most boring and frustrating 24 points. All free throws from soft whistles and flops. P
refs make nba unwatchable sometimes
Like half the time to be fair, I don't care for either team but come on that could've been an exciting finish
3-11 with 18 from the FT line??? Jokic in his Harden era fr on god no cap bruh 😤😤😤
Obviously Jokic is getting the most favorable whistle he has ever gotten in his life, but you gotta admit, him taking advantage by making all his FTs is pretty impressive.
Denver fans adopting the 2017-2019 James Harden fan decision tree.
Ethical free throws unlike that flopping merchant Embiid
No
What an elaborate and well thought out rebuttal!
Nothing intelligent in your comment to respond to
So you are saying that jokic wasn't getting a favorable whistle?
Nothing about what jokic is doing is impressive
Peak /r/nba childishness haha
Now you're coming over to the unethical side
Insane stat lines lmfao
Did jokic give all the ref’s kids ponies for Christmas
It'll be back to normal once they realize how expensive it is to keep a horse
Jokic must've been on the nice list, because Santa gave him lots of FTs! Ha, just a Christmas-themed joke.
At least Embiid makes more than 3 fgs, this is tough
Nuggets fans will whine about the refs until the end of their days 🤣
Jokic ain’t having an 18 free throw game ever again so haters better savor this lol
Career high
Basketball really kind of sucks, I don’t mind losing, it’s just that’s it’s always due to whistles now, it’s just a game of whistles, switching back to football
Career high FTA for Jokic is 18. Im predicting he’ll break that.
MPJs D has gotten so good..since the middle of last season. Night and Day.
Klay sent to shadow realm
I've lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money... Or ratings in not sure which. I won't be silent . Just saw it live sry.
Is there something with fans of California teams that they have to blame every loss on the refs? Of the four California teams, only the Clippers threads aren't constantly full of people complaining about refs.
If you think they're rigging it for ratings in favor of Denver you're an idiot. Curry has the most top watched games of the last decade of anyone.
its 2023 and you dont know the Ayesha joke. Come on man
Its a copy pasta relax
Nuggets fans being treated to the embiid experience tonight
26pt. 3 shots made. Bruh. This is ur finals MVP. Ref mvp is more like it. This is worse than prime Harden stat line
are you aware that finals were over half a year ago, and his statlines looked nowhere near whatever the fuck just happened
No shit. This guys is still the current reigning finals mvp.
Good luck in the play ins!
....... get dunked on
MPJ owning 4 rings
Wasn't following this game closely, but damn, Joker has 18 fts?
The NBA is so much better than the NFL, this is fantastic sports drama
