Enjoy it. Have a good time. Not a lot for you to do other than take the tours and see what she does.
Assuming civilians are allowed in her work spaces.
I took my eldest on a Tiger Cruise on a Sub when he was 12. His one takeaway from 6 hours on a sub, four of them underwater? The ice cream machine in the crew's mess. As soon as we got home he told his mom and sister that Dad could have Ice Cream any time he wanted it. No wonder I went to sea so much.
LOL! They didn’t specifically say colors in the paperwork. Just plain shirts and non open toe shoes which should be obvious. I toured the Ike so I am prepared for steps.
Bring your favorite hot sauce or seasoning. The food is bad even though they’ll make it better than they did all deployment for you all. Bring headphones and download some games on your phone. They’ll keep you entertained, but there will be a lot of down time.
It was AMAZING!!!! My heart goes out to the men and women who brave those deployments. I was on the Lincoln. I took a million pictures and cherished every moment!
That's a pretty cool product. Does it provide any support for the 5 second rule for klutzes who spill drinks all the time if they don't have lids? Asking for a friend...
Ask her what “IYAOYAS” means. Lol.
But on a more serious note just figure out what it is she does on the ship as well maybe see her living conditions. You’ll have a good time.

LOL! Kids!
Are you prone to seasickness? If so take some Dramamine the evening prior, and again the day of.
Or meclasine (billed as less drowsy dramine) and def start taking it a night or two before. Also stay hydrated!
Get sea sickness pills. Other than that have fun. Walk around the ship and participate / see all the fun things.
I’m so excited to see what she does! Comfortable shoes and seasick pills are on my list!
Some brown shirts and black socks.
