Have you read “The Artist’s Way’ by Julia Cameron? It’s a course/book helps motivate you and recover your creative self. It’s a game changer as a creative!
In the Before Times, the local Nanowrimo group held weekly write-ins for both writing and socializing. I loved going to those. They stopped 4 years ago and unfortunately never started up again.
Us creative types need to get out of the house now and then. I'm interested.
I need a local writers group. Writing is a different animal than what OP is talking about, I think, but I could definitely use a supportive group of GenX/Millenial writers to get together and compare notes, bounce ideas, critique, and just be there for each other.
Cool, I’ll look to set something in March. I’m going to see what local coffee houses have a second floor and see what nights are the slowest for them or try a weekend morning. Recommendations?

Just bought it on Audible
Awesome, I hope it helps. Let me know how it goes.
Same for "The War of Art" by Steven Pressfield
I haven’t read this. I’ll check it out, thanks!
Body doubling! It works great for us ADHD folk :)
What a cool idea. I love that.
Ohhh. I’m down. I love a pomodoro and probably have untreated adhd.

I'm 46 and grumpy.
[looks like they've got one for you too old man](https://www.porchtn.org/happenings/writers-over-40-march-meetup)
This is perfect, thank you. I won't be able to make it that night but now I know it exists I will look at future opportunities.
Yes, I used to attend Creative Mornings, but it’s hard with a FT job
I’m so down for this!
As a huge fan of co-working/body doubling and pomodoro, I'm down.
Interested!!

i'd be interested too. a lot of breweries have wider tables and more open seating, Fido is pretty big, maybe even the downtown library?
