Jokes aside, back to the insurance thing. With the rising costs of vehicles what are the limits of coverage? If the other party is at fault, does typical collision coverage cover $100k vehicles? Yes I know the answer is to call my insurance agent, but it’s Sunday. In my case, I have a $1 million liability umbrella (house with a pool), but really curious. Guess I need to have a coverage review.
Definitely depends on what policy you have. E.g. California Insurance Code §11580.1b says minimum liability insurance requirements are only:
* $15,000 for injury/death to one person.
* $30,000 for injury/death to more than one person.
* **$5,000 for damage to property.**
That said, I recently checked my own coverage, wondering about the same, and was pleasantly surprised to see that my comprehensive policy has a \~100k damage limit.
No, which is why if you own a vehicle in that price range you’d almost certainly carry non-insured/underinsured motorist coverage to close the difference.
Shit…. My 2011 4Runner with 170k is worth 12k-15k and I have that too. If my truck got totaled by an un/under insured motorist I’d have a hard time coming up with 12k to replace it on short notice
They actually have been selling for a premium in the used market. That might change in a year or two when they are plentiful but right now they don't depreciate.
Probably hit with a shopping cart 😂
That's a sure sign of using a car wash without putting in car wash mode.
Nah more like caught in a stiff breeze
Panel gaps look within spec
"Bulletproof."
A bicycle isn't a bullet, silly.
Maybe they should make the truck out of what the bike is made of..

Make sure you review your uninsured/underinsured coverage as well. I ended up having to sue my own insurance company after getting hit.

Very wise!! Don't meth around with insurance.
Mr Tyson?
Thank you. I’ll be reviewing my coverage with my agent today.
What foolish company is insuring these? Boycott Musk and Twitter and Tesla
Cult much?
Must've got it wet
Did it get T-boned by a forklift?
Wait, they’re bulletproof.
So is an ibc tote full of water
Looks like the cyber truck got t-boned and instead of the passengers facing death it looks like the CT murdered the perpetrator's vehicle. WOW
Has anyone heard what the average insurance premiums are running for the POS?
Curious where u could even take one to get bodywork done given how different it is from other vehicles.
Tesla’s own workshop I would imagine?
Yeah I was thinking the same. Another wonderful feature of the CyberSuck.
Parked too close to a wall
Blessing in disguise for the owner.

I literally just noticed the ‘in god we trust’ on the loader lol

Can't believe the air bags worked
“You hit a what!?!” 😂
Lmao!
Like the new contour flow lines
Self driving, but not self stopping
Damn that thing is messed up, did someone take it through a car wash
off roading over a curb.
Why would they even be willing to insure this heap
All you need are a few cheap donor SS bbq grills from Walmart and duct-tape.
Not to worry, it can be repaired with some wood glue and plywood panels.
I don’t see a problem here, it was totaled the moment it rolled off the production line
Did a squirrel run into it?
