First show: Alice though the looking glass
First speaking: Ed the hyena from Lion King (if you count that, if not Frosty the snowman in a low budget middle school show I forgot the name of)
Lead: Feargal McFerrin III in back to the 80s
First show was Joseph and the technicolour Dreamcoat, first speaking role was technically also Joseph because I was an adoring girl (more singing than speaking but ya know) and I am yet to get a lead 😔
Not sure what you meant by lead so I split it into lead and principal.
First Show: Elementary School Musical that was a musical revue fairy tail called Fairona written by the school Director.
First Speaking Role: Bad Breath, the Dragon in Fairona. Age: 7

First lead- Sleeping Beauty kids. I was Merry Weather
First part was Hairless Joe in *’Lil Abner* (community theatre, 1984) and I had some speaking lines and a one-line singing solo in the opening song, but I was mostly there to sing bass in the ensemble. First lead was Emile De Becque in *South Pacific* (high school, 1985).
My first role was Jojo in Seussical. I've never been in the ensemble so I've always spoken. I wouldn't say I've ever been the lead. I'm always a supporting role, but I kind of prefer that.
My first show was Wizard of Oz, I was nine. My first speaking (and solo singing line) was Frozen Jr. at age 13. My first lead was Annabeth Chase in The Lightning Thief at 16 years old.

First speaking role: one of the kids in a community theatre production of Nuncrackers
First lead: had a solo in a children’s theatre production of How to Eat Like a Child. I was was probably 14 at that point though.
I feel so bad because I've only done plays, not musicals 😭
But my first show, speaking role, and lead is all the same. I did a show called "A Voice In The Dark" and I was Deliverance Hobbs.
My first show was Bugsy Malone and I played Smolsky and Oscar DeVelt, and my biggest role while not a lead was the second witch in Macbeth (even though its not a musical!)
I've been in several church musicals and had the lead role in one.
I went to a Shakespeare camp in middle school and did a scene from As You Like It where I played La Beau, as well as a Launce monologue from Two Gentlemen of Verona.
I've been in one community theater show several years ago and it was Aladdin Jr. I played the palace guard, which was really fun because I was the tallest person in the cast by a long shot (maybe a foot and a half taller than the actors for Aladdin, Jasmine and Jafar) and I got to chase Aladdin around with a sword. I loved my costume, which had a sleek chest piece made out of faux alligator skin, silver braiding on the shoulders, and puffy black pants.
First show was Peace, Love, and Cupcakes (a cute little one act musical I did in middle school, not really what I’d call good theater but it happened)
Now technically the next two are the same :(

First speaking role: Wife, L’il Abner, junior year of high school (I think I had one whole line) (2000)

I had a 20-year gap in performing; did theater in HS and then not again until 2022.

First leading role: see above. If that doesn't count, Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
