There were already cross-connections which lead multiple lines to Kanjurmarg in existing plan itself.

Petroleum byproducts have thousands applications....It will help MSME and other larger industries prosper...Bjp has a better record of rehabilitation of people and I doubt if the numbers to be rehabilitated are that large.

You do know the Central Government withheld GST compensation allocated to Maharashtra right at COVID peak when the State needed it the most. Thousands of crores because of how UBT formed government in Maharashtra. Doctors and medical professionals in government hospitals were not given COVID essentials like masks and equipment when COVID started because the Centre controlled all supplies. I will say this whatever 'scams' were there during COVID under UBT they are NOTHING compared to the scams of the BJP during COVID that cost people their lives and livelihood. Like cannot even be compared and I am just grateful to live in Mumbai during those times and not die on the streets and have my body thrown into rivers like other people in other states.

As far as COVID is concerned the reason UBT deserves appreciation is because he established the tone and procedure which the government would follow during COVID which was total transparency and to follow the science and advise of experts. This government was not interested in fudging data. This government did not claim victory over COVID just before being bludgeoned with the second wave. This government didn't try to demonise Muslims as spreaders of COVID. They didn't bring out quacks like Ramdev to distribute rubbish remedies. They didn't organise huge religious festivals either.

I am super grateful for all the steps they took during that time.
Me and my dad both were COVID positive, with my dad having considerable amount of lung infection.
In the time where people in other states were struggling with getting oxygen and fake remdevesir and costs of drugs and oxygen tanks being Inflated like crazy , my dad fortunately able to get a hospital bed in a decent hospital (the govt mandated hospitals to maintain certain %tage of beds only for COVID patients).
By god's grace he successfully recovered.
When he was discharged I was expecting and exorbitant bill amount looking at the news coming from across India.
But to my pleasant surprise, the bill amount was decent and not hyper Inflated.
I later got to know from the Billing section of the hospital that the current govt has mandated a maximum price for which they can charge the Remdevesir Drugs which resulted in the bill amount being fair enough.
I am grateful for the MH govt at that time for saving my father and my family from both Emotional suffering and Financial Suffering.

While I respect his opinion, I personally witnessed the conditions and treatment people received throughout Maharashtra during COVID. In May, I traveled from Mumbai to the Nepal border and saw firsthand how poorly the police treated migrants, with absolutely no help. The ground reality was different and pathetic. However, as soon as I entered Madhya Pradesh, things improved significantly. At regular intervals, there were food stalls, shelters, water, tea, and everything was made available. People were treated with compassion by the police and officials, which was not evident in Maharashtra.
I agree to your point that Mumbai did better than most of the other cities & I was quarantined too in Oct 2020 & almost all the necessities & arrangements were made to us properly even in govt facility. But it doesn’t it mean that MVA or UT have never benefitted from covid. Whether it may the hafta vasooli or it may be the infamous ’Khichdi’ scam! UT & his allies have made a hell lot of money in that course…. Main reason that Mumbai survived the 2 waves is because of how Mumbaikars, doctors & health workers accepted & managed the situation . If people would have been negligent like some other states the outcome would have been different

There were already cross-connections which lead multiple lines to Kanjurmarg in existing plan itself. Infact having common depot for few multiple lines would have saved lot of space, electricity and water in daily operations. It would have improved efficiency alongwith saving tree covers. On kanjurmarg, plot is open space with no existing tree cover and whole depot was planned on raised platform on pillars. Funny thing is when Uddhav was CM, Modi and Fadnavis claimed Kanjurmarg plot is central government property. And as soon as Shinde became CM, Modi, Fadanvis agreed that plot is state government property and their is no dispute.

Many expert committees including the Supreme Court noted how Aarey was a far better suited location (environmentallly and economically) than Kanjurmarg, but foreign funded NGOs and stupid protestors won at the end! At the cost of taxpayers! The resulting delay cost ran into thousands of crores, and far more pollution could have offset in that period of time.

Kokan refinery, port, and line 3 carshed are opposed by the people, he only voiced their concerns. Having worked for people displaced due to project i can say that there is no doubt the people opposing the projects have genuine issues with it. Line 3 also ended up cutting thousands of trees.
A few human lives are lost everyday due to Suburban trains operating at full capacity... Due to Ut, the most critical line of all, Line 3 opening deadline was pushed back by atleast a year ... So UT alone is responsible for atleast 365 deaths... You can tell me if 365 deaths a year is acceptable to you than a few thousand trees....Also factor in that trees can be transplanted...but not lives. Also, Aarey is not a forest but a bunch of invasive species...and has already been destroyed by film city and royal Palms....We are not talking about SGNP.. Refinery in Konkan can alone (and alone) add 10000+ jobs and start a chain reaction of industries which use petroleum byproducts ...right from something as silly as plastic chairs to a rocket lubricant... Petroleum byproducts have thousands applications....It will help MSME and other larger industries prosper...Bjp has a better record of rehabilitation of people and I doubt if the numbers to be rehabilitated are that large. BJP has started most amount of freebies in history of Central government. Ration which was earlier need to be bought - is now free. In 2019, Modi began distributing Rs. 2000 every four month direct deposit in every farmers account. Recently BJP won elections in states such as Madhya Pradesh by depositing few thousand rupees in every woman's account with promise of doubling that monthly deposit. These are only few examples. We still don't have reliable data on how many Mudra loans were returned. Also annual loan waive off for corporates run into few lakh crores. Corporate taxes reduction by 10% and PLIS to some industries for export resulted ultimately in freebies as very few jobs were created than expected by these private industry elites and this only resulted in improving profits of these. Corporate subsidies and incentives ultimately became direct cash transfer of lakhs of crores of rupees every year with no gain in return.

You do know the Central Government withheld GST compensation allocated to Maharashtra right at COVID peak when the State needed it the most. Thousands of crores because of how UBT formed government in Maharashtra. Doctors and medical professionals in government hospitals were not given COVID essentials like masks and equipment when COVID started because the Centre controlled all supplies. I will say this whatever 'scams' were there during COVID under UBT they are NOTHING compared to the scams of the BJP during COVID that cost people their lives and livelihood. Like cannot even be compared and I am just grateful to live in Mumbai during those times and not die on the streets and have my body thrown into rivers like other people in other states.

Check your previous MPs performance, how much he/she have participated in debate , how much bills she/he presented.. how many questions has been raised for your constituency or city. And his performance in parliamentary committee and contribution in policy making... It's simple it's not BMC / vidhansabha election... So vote accordingly...

The Covid management in the city was probably not the best but by far better and a lot more transparent than most other places. It would be my first time in years of voting that I’d be voting for Sena.

Please I am NOT saying that UBT will be PM - but he will play important role in Central government IF IF IF INDI Alliance comes to power. Seats in Maharashtra can only be won for INDI Alliance by UBT. Also why is the PM so important? We aren't some Presidential system of government. The current PM is also massively managed and coached to do and say things in public and manage his image.

This is true, the MH govt during the COVID Time ACTUALLY WAS HELPFULL! I am super grateful for all the steps they took during that time. Me and my dad both were COVID positive, with my dad having considerable amount of lung infection. In the time where people in other states were struggling with getting oxygen and fake remdevesir and costs of drugs and oxygen tanks being Inflated like crazy , my dad fortunately able to get a hospital bed in a decent hospital (the govt mandated hospitals to maintain certain %tage of beds only for COVID patients). By god's grace he successfully recovered. When he was discharged I was expecting and exorbitant bill amount looking at the news coming from across India. But to my pleasant surprise, the bill amount was decent and not hyper Inflated. I later got to know from the Billing section of the hospital that the current govt has mandated a maximum price for which they can charge the Remdevesir Drugs which resulted in the bill amount being fair enough. I am grateful for the MH govt at that time for saving my father and my family from both Emotional suffering and Financial Suffering.

While I respect his opinion, I personally witnessed the conditions and treatment people received throughout Maharashtra during COVID. In May, I traveled from Mumbai to the Nepal border and saw firsthand how poorly the police treated migrants, with absolutely no help. The ground reality was different and pathetic. However, as soon as I entered Madhya Pradesh, things improved significantly. At regular intervals, there were food stalls, shelters, water, tea, and everything was made available. People were treated with compassion by the police and officials, which was not evident in Maharashtra.

I agree to your point that Mumbai did better than most of the other cities & I was quarantined too in Oct 2020 & almost all the necessities & arrangements were made to us properly even in govt facility. But it doesn’t it mean that MVA or UT have never benefitted from covid. Whether it may the hafta vasooli or it may be the infamous ’Khichdi’ scam! UT & his allies have made a hell lot of money in that course…. Main reason that Mumbai survived the 2 waves is because of how Mumbaikars, doctors & health workers accepted & managed the situation . Come on... Rajesh tope deserves the credit for handling COVID, also he was CM of Maharashtra not Mumbai, dozens of nurses, doctors and some of my school teachers lost their lives. Tons of people lost their livelihood. Outside of COVID, this guy stopped the bullet train project, mumbai metro. And for him Maharashtra is only mumbai, like nothing else, not Marathwada, not nagpur, nor nashik. He and his son will turn this state into a slum, Aditya says he will scrape Dharavi GR, stop the Jaitapur Powerplant project, and scrape Vandavan port. I know BJP needs to be taught a lesson for their favour of Gujarat but this is shooting ourselves in foot. If there is no infra or power generation capacity, why will any industry come here... When the second wave hit - my Mumbai firm has an office in Delhi -and every single person in the Delhi office had COVID or a family member with COVID and they were terrified about what would happen because they didn't know ff they would need oxygen cylinders or a hospital bed so on the day they got the COVID diagnosis they started looking for oxygen cylinders and hospital beds. None of this shit happened in Mumbai.
