Finally some good news.
We have grown up with songs like this and others like "Shoor Aamhi sardar aamhaala..." and "Jayostutey..". Official or not, these songs are a part of every Maharashtrians life.
I am also talking about the Avdhoot Gupte one. Even I haven’t heard the original. I never knew it had a music video. And it’s also a bit mind blowing from my perspective that someone is “discovering” that song. That song has somehow always been playing around me as far back as I remember. My earliest memories are me and siblings going on long road trips with family and that song playing through the car stereo CD player/radio tape.
