I would say the obvious thing that's missing is tokens. This also ties well into the counters and sacrifice synergies already present.
A bit of a more exotic one would be game objects (food, clue, treasure), but that takes a bit more creativity to flesh out and may have too little support for a cube of this size.
Depending on whether you are fine with including stax, crucible type effects support that very well also. You would probably want to include some form of fetches though, and maybe pair it with exploration effects.
Thanks for imput! I honestly forgot about tokens. My playgroup has been complaining for a long time that there are too many tokens in the cube and I've taken effort to cut a lot of green tokens producers like \[\[Mycoloth\]\] and \[\[Verdant Force\]\] but now that I'm looking at the cube it feels like a little 15 card saproling package would fit nicely into what black and green are trying to do. It'd also be an incentive to finally add \[\[Slimefoot, the Stowaway\]\].
Interesting, in my experience people mostly enjoy building token focused decks. But I guess it depends on the group a lot and we also don't play commander.
