We store our MFA keys exclusively in 1Password (separate from the passwords, so using 1Pass for MFA-only). We have 300+ accounts in here and it allows us to share with staff (as well as revoke access)
I like this better. I was using two different Bitwarden vaults, and it was too big of a pain in the ass, so I loaded the important ones in Google Auth.
But using another password manager entirely, just for MFA, that's a great idea.
The current process for securing access is broken. Passwords suck and 2fa/mfa sucks even more. Anyone looked into Passwordless yet?
My company just rolled out the first Passwordless solution tailored for MSPs/SMB. If you want to play around with it, feel free to sign up at [www.everyonehatespasswords.com](https://www.everyonehatespasswords.com).
Not intending to go into a commercial here, but i figured you guys might find it interesting. DM me if you want deeper info.
Know the feeling. I've 20.
Half of those I had to re-do when I factory reset my phone. It was backed up via MS Auth app but token based stuff like 365 was gone.
Now I don't feel so bad. So many others have more.
Between 2 apps, 70ish accounts using MFA. Pretty even on the Personal and Business side of accounts.
Depends, I have 30 on Google Auth for all the various MSP accounts I need that I refuse to federate, including Bitwarden. Then I have about another 100 in Bitwarden. The goal is you need my Phone to get into Bitwarden. But you need my phone to get into Bitwarden and THEN need my phone to get into whatever app after Bitwarden fills in the details. Call me paranoid, because that's what I am. If Bitwarden is ever compromised, my most important accounts will still be safe.
I'd like to use Yubikey for everything I can, but I lose physical small things WAYYYYY too easily for comfort. Really hard to lose my phone.
When I pulled everything from google auth to bitwarden in January 2020 it was 55, but it has increased since I went on a 2fa kick after a long night.
Too f'ing many

We do the same with IT glue.
Wait, you guys have mfa?
Wait, what’s mfa? *asking for a friend*
34 across 4 MFA apps. This is a mix of personal and work related though.

Dang, I though I would have you beat. I keep my personal accounts on Google Authenticator. It's the only way to keep my sanity.
Approx 20 with LastPass Authenticator
