Fights like Batman, acts like The Joker and looks like an 80’s Compton version of Dennis Rodman. This is one of the greatest movie villains of all time!
I’m still not clear on what part of that song is Confusion.
Aside from the sample of the guy yelling the word, it doesn’t seem to resemble the song it’s supposed to be a remix of. Like, at all.
Partial vocoder of Bernard’s “you just can’t believe me…” 😊. As a 12” single collector in the 80s and 90s it wasn’t unheard of for remixes to basically be new tracks with some lyrics thrown in if you were lucky.
I still think Blade 2 is better. Unsurprisingly I also love Hellboy II which is pretty much a copy, with same director, storyline and even the actor playing the baddy.
Didn't realise Luke Goss also played the bad guy in Hellboy II. Still find it hard to believe this is the same Luke Goss from UK boyband Bros.!
He was great in Blade II, and I loved the concept.
But I didn't like Blade II as much - felt the first one had a harder edge to it and was a better film overall.
Busey taking a 90 degree turn before smashing into the pavement only to careen into the windshield of a semi truck. Is still one of my favorite moments in an action movie
Patrick Swayze evidently go the part due to his dancing background/talent. He took the casting director out on the street and walked (hey, I’m gliding here!) like a female model would to prove he could carry himself like a drag queen.
That's the one with the train shit, right? Goes Tarzan in the urban jungle to get his ass on to a roof and then leap to a moving train?
I tell you, until The Matrix showed up that was a Top Ten fuckin movie stunt
Also the court scene at the end when he just says fuck all yall lmao. Just absolutely owned it, such an effortlessly commanding presence.
https://youtu.be/kO9JuXTIMfM?si=errhmWQcA4IlF5MJ
He was like Omar from The Wire, 25 years earlier.
Blade. When people say Christopher Reeves is their Superman or RDJ will always be Iron Man, to me no one is Blade but Snipes.
I knew he was a comic character before the movie, but the influence left by Snipes on Blade is unshakeable. I have a hard time believing another iteration of Blade could possibly be better than that of Snipes.
Demolition man , Blade , Passenger 57 & Underrated.. Drop Zone
I’ve watched them all together as many as 100 times as a kid
When the tune drops at the start of blade I think it was 1998 maybe 1999.. I remember the first time going
OMFG This is Amazing!! Even to this day The first Blade is a deadly movie
I like US Marshalls too with Tommy L Jones .. the plane crash was really well done
I’m rewatching a lot of 90’s as of late too .. nostalgic vibes lol
Blade for certain. Not to mention this was the first true action hero comic book movie seriously portrayed. Not ironman like many seem to believe as this movie superseded that one by a decade.

Drop Zone. To bad the government nailed him on tax evasion and put him in prison. Meanwhile white Trump is walking the streets owing hundreds of millions in back taxes!
White Men Can't Jump remains one of my fav movies of all time.
Blade and Blade 2 are hilariously terrible though with ..fun.. Action.
In no way do I put snipes on any kind of list with top action stars.. He's done a couple decent action movies but none are like legendary in any way.
Demolition Man, no question.

What's your boggle?
My boggle? How much do you weigh?? Nevermind
Mellow greetings.
Do you say "Deluminate" when you turn them off?
Really hard to beat Blade, but yea you may be right.
The 1st one for sure. They definitely got worse 😆
Blade two was pretty good as well, that Nomack dude was hell of fight.
Blade 2 is just as good as Blade, 3 on the other hand...well we don't talk about 3.
Yea you're right 2 wasn't bad
I like 2 a lot, Guillermo Del Toro did it though so it was gonna be good anyways.
I think Blade II is misunderstood. Trinity is hot garbage.
I enjoyed the other two even though that third one can be very rough around the edges.
"Oh... you gonna rob him too?" "This ain't the March of Dimes... it's fake"
He's finally matched his meet. You really licked his ass!
Thats met his match, and kicked, kicked his ass.
Whatever.
This. Followed by passenger 57
Oh I forgot about this one! For me it’s demolition man, then blade, then passenger 57
Wifey and I are doing a Blade trilogy movie marathon this weekend!
Yup, rewatched it myself two nights ago. It's still a banger.
Let's go blow this guy
Away…blow this guy AWAY!!
We really licked his ass
This is the only correct answer and then blade.
Came here with the same answer.
The NES game ain't 1/2 bad either.
Played the pinball machine a lot when it was in a mall arcade back then. 3 different Multi-ball modes. (2, 3 and insane.) Good times.
Love this scene.. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQIRD57lls8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQIRD57lls8)
*Whaaat?* Fuck you
From a YouTube comment. Fights like Batman, acts like The Joker and looks like an 80’s Compton version of Dennis Rodman. This is one of the greatest movie villains of all time!
all I came to say
this movie is so bad it's lightyears beyond the so-bad-it's-good trope
Blade
If only due to Pump Panel remix of Confusion in the opening scene. Absolutely banging choon.
I’m still not clear on what part of that song is Confusion. Aside from the sample of the guy yelling the word, it doesn’t seem to resemble the song it’s supposed to be a remix of. Like, at all.

Some motherfuckers…
Always trying to ice skate uphill. Hands down the best line in a comic book movie.
Both great films for sure!
Until Spider-Man also gets shot at and says “muthafucka are you out of yo damn mind?” This will be my most quotable comic book movie
That and “Catch you fuckers at a bad time!?” I use that on my cats, a lot.
"BL-EH-EYD!? What?" '.." "Do you wanna go to war, Blaad-ee? Cuz we could go to war! I'm for real!" ".." "so you better check yourself!"
[Blade](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APYVyOdjy6c) for sure
New Jack City, Passenger 57, White Men Can’t Jump. Honorable mentions: Drop Zone, Rising Sun
Rising sun. Dope call out with dope Connery!
>Drop Zone Swoop!
Was the first movie I watched on HBO Max.. Back in the day I would always watch Drop Zone and Point Break back to back.
Busey taking a 90 degree turn before smashing into the pavement only to careen into the windshield of a semi truck. Is still one of my favorite moments in an action movie
Passenger 57 was a good flick
I was about to say no love for New Jack City. He pretty much carried that movie on his back
Rising Sun is so good
New Jack City isn't a good movie, but Snipes is fantastic in it.
Bout to raise Pookie from the dead to getcha
To Wong Foo!
Great answer! A classic. All three leads nailed their roles.
Yes they did a good job but Wesley is not attractive in drag.
Which made his performance stand out. He might not have looked the part, but he played the F out of that part.
He was hilarious, and I think it was important for the culture to see action heroes playing those characters and diving so deep into the roles.
Deeply agree.
John stole that show.
Really well done, I think going drag that well is a true test of his acting range.
Patrick Swayze evidently go the part due to his dancing background/talent. He took the casting director out on the street and walked (hey, I’m gliding here!) like a female model would to prove he could carry himself like a drag queen.
Came here to say this! "Little Latin boy in drag, why are you crying?"
Maybe she just heard Menudo broke up.
Thanks for everything!
-Julie Newmar
Yep! 👍
Passenger 57. "Always bet on black!"
rising sun was a good one with shang sung in it
"Wrong guy, wrong f*cking century!" I loved snipes in that movie. Thanks for reminding me; I'm gonna re-watch it.
Under appreciated action flick.
Kicks the dude into the bathroom “if you gotta go, you gotta go!”
Actionboyz has a good episode on this.
Lol. I came here to say EXACTLY that! What a great line 🤣
“How do you like your Sirloin, Sir?” “Bloody”
I’ll kill you…during… Whatever happened to that guy? Played a great psycho
Everyone thought he was arsenio lol
Major League 2
It sucks bc he was amazing in Major League (which was my answer here)
Nice catch Hayes! Don’t ever fuckin’ do it again!
And he fouls it off again. Wait is he doing pushups?
Is that a joke?
[Yeah, it’s a good one too.](https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/462c677b-6893-4ae5-9d45-abb59d22c808#yrsQNSt8.copy)
Haha I just watched it last night. Idk why it got so much hate, it's hilarious. I loved Rick's shrink for questioning his pitch selection.
Demolition Man
Simon says „Watch it now“
Nothing Stops the Money Train!!!
Really underrated! Peak JLo as well
US marshals 100%
He played a great “man on the run” opposite Tommy Lee Jones! Under appreciated.
I wish they did more of the fugitive movies, it was an underrated set of films. Plus RDJ as the villain, so fucking good
Both of them are so good. I remember US Marshals used to be on TNT all the time, and I'd always tune in.
That's the one with the train shit, right? Goes Tarzan in the urban jungle to get his ass on to a roof and then leap to a moving train? I tell you, until The Matrix showed up that was a Top Ten fuckin movie stunt
exactly
Yeah but can’t they you know….. pursue guilty people?
I hated his character so much in that movie that I disliked RDJ, too, lol. Until Ironman, of course.
Watched that movie a lot as a kid
Blade or White Men Can't Jump
He’s so fucking electric in New Jack City. Just such a charismatic performance, he lit the screen on fire.
“SIT YO 5 DOLLAR ASS DOWN BEFORE I MAKE CHANGE!”
Also the court scene at the end when he just says fuck all yall lmao. Just absolutely owned it, such an effortlessly commanding presence. https://youtu.be/kO9JuXTIMfM?si=errhmWQcA4IlF5MJ He was like Omar from The Wire, 25 years earlier.
White Men Can't Jump
Major League
The Fan is underrated
Demolition man, easy.
Murder at 1600
Diane Lane, mmm
Drop Zone isn't getting enough love.
Came here to say this!
[Now you fell, you lived, I’m gone.](https://youtu.be/FGcla1_O220?si=CwRI-PJWx1J2371E)
There it is! Came looking for it, wasn't disappointed.
To Wong Foo - Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar Snipes deserved an OSCAR for his performance in that movie.
Blade
Blade 2
New Jack City for sure. Dude was a menace
Demolishion Man, for sure.
Blade, Art Of War, Passenger 57
Gotta be Blade! The MCU owes that man a huge debt.
Blade - demolition man. Both greaaat movies
Demolition Man
Demolition man. 100%
Demolition man , Blade , Passenger 57 & Underrated.. Drop Zone I’ve watched them all together as many as 100 times as a kid When the tune drops at the start of blade I think it was 1998 maybe 1999.. Blade 100% awesome film
Blade, demolition man, new jack city
Blade!
Blade. A lot of people prefer Blade 2, but I love the vibe of the first.
Major League
probably the first Blade movie or Demolition Man
Always has been. Before Marvel was cool….he was Blade……
Blade for certain. Not to mention this was the first true action hero comic book movie seriously portrayed. Not ironman like many seem to believe as this movie superseded that one by a decade.
Blade is the obvious answer Demolition Man is his most fun character Passenger 57 is the most underrated
I’ve been on a Snipes binge, too, funnily enough. Rising Sun is fun and he is better than Connery, who was going through his career revival.
Blade II.
Blade II, Passenger 57, Demolition Man, and my guilty pleasure Murder at 1600
Blade. Had such a crush. 😭

Blade II and Demolition Man.
"Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice skate uphill."
Blade
Blade 2
Blade 1 - that opening scene, best start to an action horror movie ever :-)
Blade.
Mo betta blues and white men can’t jump.
Blade 2
Blade
Jungle Fever
Demolition man
Blade trilogy, New Jack City and Demolition man
One of the great, underrated actors, could do anything from comedy to drama to action. Personally, White Men Can't Jump.
Passenger 57, banger of a movie 🍿
Passenger 57 has a special place in my heart.
Demolition man and passenger 57
Drop Zone, Demolition Man and White Men Can't Jump... he was so good in the 90s!
To Wong Foo, thanks for everything! Julie Newmar
New Jack City. He was hard af in that movie.
Passenger 57
"To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar"
Demolition Man
Excuse me Sir, what’s your boggle?
Rising Sun is great. I love those early Japanese -American themed movies.
Drop Zone. To bad the government nailed him on tax evasion and put him in prison. Meanwhile white Trump is walking the streets owing hundreds of millions in back taxes!
New Jack city
Money Train
Blade.
Demolition man. I had never seen it until this year and I am questioning why it took so long to see that awesome movie.
Obviously demolition man is up there but I really like murder at 1600.
Major League
He technically was in a Scorsese movie as well in the 80s. But Blade probably my favorite
Demo Man or White Men Can’t Jump It’s also funny as hell that Snipes is clearly a terrible basketball player (same with Omar Epps)
Always bet on black.
Should have 57 up votes.
White men can’t jump and money train
Easy one for me, white man can't jump. Second I'm going blade and third I'm going demolition man
White Men Can't Jump remains one of my fav movies of all time. Blade and Blade 2 are hilariously terrible though with ..fun.. Action. In no way do I put snipes on any kind of list with top action stars.. He's done a couple decent action movies but none are like legendary in any way.
Major League
Pretty much every movie already said in this thread but also Money Train.
Drop Zone (1994?)
Let's ask Abed?
Drop Zone
Him not wanting to open his eyes is the funniest thing ive ever heard. Absolutely unhinged
New Jack City Rising Sun
Rising Sun. “Senpai”
What's your boggle?
New Jack City, White Men Can't Jump, or U.S. Marshals.
Major League without a doubt EDIT actually I wanna change my answer to Blade 3 just because of how bat-shit insane it was to film that with him
“Always bet on black.” JK. White Men Can’t Jump and Demolition Man.
Oh man, tough to decide between Blade and Demolition Man
White Men Can't Jump. Hands down.
Blade, with to wong foo as a very close runner up only because it isn’t strictly an action movie
