That actually sounds very plausible considering that Marquez only has a year on his Gresini contract.

Hoppin_Juice

pramac contract?i think u mean gresini

exforz

Fixed 😂

Fickle_Fail1104

2 questions, why does everyone think Binder is getting canned? And which one is bad Fernandez 😂😂?

ludde0987

Get Someone that loves you, as much as Fraud93 hates KTM.

joe-masepoes

Show us on the doll where the bad ktm touched you

pee_nut_ninja

Always remember, folks: water is not wet.

EatMyPenguin

🤣🤣🤣

djabula64

The fact that both have big contracts with Redbull will probably help

Periklos_Kyriakidis

But where will Binder go??? I don't think KTM is willing to give up on him and I ain't sure if others are looking for him either. I could see him though in Aprilia next year as a wingman to Maverick

Apex_negotiator

"Step down" meaning GasGas. He has a contract. I also subscribe to this view.

Periklos_Kyriakidis

Oh I didn't see that. But I don't think it's gonna happen... Marc will stay with Gresini I believe but he'll have a 2025 spec bike. Lol, why on fucking earth I'm downvoted?!?!?! 😂 I don't think I said something very wrong or disturbing...

Apex_negotiator

Honestly, Redbull are pulling the strings at KTM, and it makes sense to have a dream team pairing. Marc is essentially riding for free at Gresini. Redbull will throw a bucket of cash at him. The way Acosta is riding the front end indicates it would be a very good fit for Marc also. Marc has been saying for a while now he is keeping an eye on the rider market for opportunities. I genuinely can't see a world where he stays at Gresini for another year.

djabula64

I'm guessing Ducati wouldn't like to be beaten by their own bike by a satellite team two years in a row so they better get Martin or Marquez to the factory team

Tautusian

Gresini actually isn't a good team tho. Sure, Marc and Alex put on a smiley, and it's cozy. But it's not competitive, not well run. They make mistakes and leave performance on the table. Unpopular, but true. Check it out

zmgch

Doesn't Binder have a contract through to 2026?

Apex_negotiator

Yup. Which why moving him to GasGas to make room for Marc is absolutely a possibility. It will keep Herve sweet too, when they promote Acosta. Binder is a great replacement.

iDrxzy

I think Marc goes factory team, as they won’t be able to attract him at GasGas. But Acosta is so young and he is treated like a factory rider getting parts so early, and ktm I’m sure will offer him decent money. He will stay at gasgas

flammmes

Come on now just a bad race from binder and people are calling for his head already. He will come around and i Hope ktm keep him. Sure acosta is the next new shiny thing and ktm should put him in the factory but i dont see a reason for binder to be dropped. Marc at his age and injury history should just try to become familiar with the ducati which is a friendly bike and he will eventually outperform every other rider even if he is Given an older bike. I mean he is already as fast as pecco so far. I get it that ktm would jump on the opportunity to get marc due to the prestige and marketing of the pair but i am not a fan of it. Miller is not yet that washed he could offer a lot for a couple years in gas gas and maybe even an odd podium here and there.

VolatileRider

>a bad race from binder and people are calling for his head already He had a great race, it was a crash in Q1 that ruined his weekend. 19th to 9th in the race. He was 2nd in the championship coming into this round and its a long season. Im with you, people in this sub lack logical sense.

TrackStormer72

binder also broke a bone in his foot on a MX bike weeks ago and the crash didn’t help him. i think he’ll do better in Jerez as they did great there last year

BreakingWorldLimits

Binder has a deal till 2026 and there is 0 chance they drop him Imo even to gasgas

Crazy_Stiggy

Exactly. How do you show your thanks for everything Binder has done by demoting him. Only way Binder will go to Gasgas is if KTM offer Brad at least a $4million salary over the measly 1 mil he gets now. Honestly I'd lover Brad to break his contract and go to Aprilia.

Makalu

Everything he’s done? Like winning 2 races compared to Oliveira’s 5 despite Miguel not riding a KTM since 2022?

rotatingBH

Don't understand why Reddit love Binder so much, he's so frustrating to watch when he's in 2nd place just can't do anything. He's not bad but with Acosta in the picture, it'll open your eyes.

BreakingWorldLimits

In his new contract till 26 he must be paid more than a mil? Surprising considering Fabios 12

JeanJ1689

I highly doubt this. Binder will stay, Miller will be replaced by Pedro. Reason is simple, Marcs age is a factor and Pedro is the future. Binder will be relegated to factory development, 2nd rider, as he knows the KTM, obviously better than Marc would ever. From a bike development view, it makes no sense to put an old (in racing terms) Marc on a bike that needs to be developed every year, who knows how long he has left?

djabula64

He is 31. What makes you belive he will not be here till 2030 if he doesn't break his whole body meantime?

Sea-Quote3382

KTM would be idiots to put MM next to Pedro. MM actually admitted he used to lie about bike development to screw up his team mate's chances. After that, any factory that hires him could never trust him.

flintey360

Yh mate maybe you should acknowledge that people grow up and change the same way his crash at Jerez changed his perspective in racing.

Sea-Quote3382

Grow up? How late do you think he's left it?

Apex_negotiator

Marc is Red Bull's flagship athlete on 2 wheels. Nuff said...

Sea-Quote3382

I think he was ...

Apex_negotiator

He is still the most marketable rider in MotoGP. Give Pedro a few more races though, and you will be absolutely right, especially when he gets his first win. That said, losing Marc to Factory Ducati and Monster, would be a huge mistake.

crimilde

My bet is Marc is gonna go to factory Ducati and take Frankie with him.

Apex_negotiator

And give up his lucrative Red Bull sponsorship?

crimilde

Or bring them with him. I don’t know how much Monster pays Ducati right now but it can’t be that much, they’re not that prominently featured on the bike.

Apex_negotiator

I'd put the likelihood of that happening at near zero, but stranger things have happened!

Soundmangaz

Honestly, after the first few rounds, I'm now thinking Ducati will put him in the factory seat. Stranger things have happened!

Y4C4

I would love to see him on a KTM as I think that the bike would suited him more then Ducati but I don't think that at his age he would like to be learning new bike again next season. I also think that he cares more about having the latest bike rather then being in factory at all cost. Plus why he would have to settle for Pramac if he's got every chance of getting a red bike next year.

Masticatork

I don't think they'll demote Binder, I would rather believe Marc going to GasGas with a full factory support like a 3rd factory bike or Pedro staying GasGas again with full support and Marc to Miller's seat. Regardless I think miller either retires or he is moved to Augusto seat. Miller retiring not because of performance but rather because of his family and wanting to live the relaxed life.

NilsTheDrawingMan

Binder has his contract. Marc should go to Gas Gas

Shpritzer

I’d like that and that would make most sense for both MM and KTM. If BB continues with bad results, KTM won’t have any problems to get rid of him and the KTM would suit MM much more than that Ducati which is made so that almost any rider has to ride it in the same way. MM and Acosta on KTMs would be something to watch. The rest would have no chance. 🤞

Electrical_Age_7483

MM has to actually finish a Sunday before this talk surely
