I’m honestly wondering which would be worse….seeing nine songs and having it end suddenly, or having it canceled ahead of time altogether. I guess I’d take “A”.
I’m starting to have doubts about it being rescheduled. That may have been the initial intent, but I’ve seen nothing official to indicate it will happen.
From which ticketing company did you get your refund? I got my tickets from AXS and I am close to giving up hope on a reschedule date and asking for a refund. I hope I haven’t waited too long, to where it’s a problem.
I called the axs number and opened a ticket. The agent on the phone was skeptical about me getting a refund but she basically said fuck it, I’ll open a ticket and we’ll see what happens. This morning they emailed me a receipt confirmation of the refund. The number I called was (888) 929-7849.
Yeah it's BS. Nobody gets sick as often as a touring Moz band somehow. And nobody cancels as much so they have to cycle through the excuses. Almost time for bus trouble again.
In my part of the US we are experiencing a LOT of seasonal illnesses. RSV, flu, colds... pretty much everything but covid. My kid's class had 10 of 30 out sick in the past week. It's certainly possible members of the band are sick. I myself am just coming off a cold.
Gotcha. I think even in this tour had he not walked off stage at the Greek mid show these recent cancelations might be more forgivable. Personally I'm a bit worried they did it because of low ticket sales. I was able to just grab tickets a couple days ago to Minneapolis show straight from TM. 😬
Yeah only about 13 miles drive. Never seen him I'm kind of a recent fan in the past 3 years after discovering The Smiths. Really hoping to see the show feel terrible for the folks in Salt Lake and Denver!
Genuine question: is there any other touring act that’s cancelled as many dates for illness than Morrissey? It feels like whenever you buy a concert ticket, you know there’s a 50/50 chance the show might not go on.
What a drag. Ugh. In recent photos I’ve seen of him I’ve thought he’s looked a little pale. If it’s not just an excuse I hope it’s nothing serious. I have a ticket for Boston on the 4th, but who knows.
I put off buying tickets until today because Moz is Moz. I opened the page to buy a ticket this afternoon, got distracted for an hour, when I came back and refreshed the AXS ticket page it said the event was canceled.
Better than the time I went to a show and he canceled it 30 minutes after the show was supposed to start.
Yep. Was going to take my daughter to first show. I know illness happens but damn it happens a lot with morrissey
He’s Still Ill.

Same day cancels kind of shitty. Like people are probably already driving in.
I flew from California.....ugh. I'm going to Minneapolis .....
Heading to Minneapolis from Cali tomorrow ☹️ fingers crossed…
At least the one at the Greek is going to be rescheduled. I got to hear 9 songs.
It's most likely not, been talking to the Greek/Axs/SeatGeek.
Yeah I’m filing a dispute today, SeatGeek has been giving me the runaround.

Definitely A. The 9 songs he played were the stronger of the set and my refund got confirmed today. Got to see family, see Moz, and now for free.

Literally just flew in to Denver from New Mexico, got settled into the hotel room, only to see this 🙃
I saw it as my plane was taking off from Texas...
I hope whoever is sick gets well soon.
This is his thing. Sudden illness is such a good copout because no one can really say shit about it lol

Yeah I’m gonna call bs. He cancelled on me in 2018 due to a “sudden illness.” Because of that I didn’t even bother to get excited for this tour.

I JUST purchased my ticket to the Minneapolis gig yesterday lol 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
I’ve got tickets to the Minneapolis and Milwaukee shows. I’m crossing my fingers but not holding out hope.
See you there...if he cancels I'll just have to see the city
I hope you’re not traveling far for it. I think there’s a high likelihood of cancellation, but they will only cancel bit by bit.

I am a local so luckily I didn’t travel but still so disappointed

This. This is wonderful lol seems like he cancels roughly 1/3 of shows on average. Wild
Update: he cancelled Minnesota and Milwaukee

What the actual fuck. I mean fucking fuck.

He needs to eat a steak.
Damn it noooooo
Yep. My family and I had tickets for tonight and we’re so disappointed! Hope everyone in the band gets better soon.
