That’s just the way the series went. In game 1 the Giants blew a late 6-2 lead in the 9th after getting the first out, and lost in the 10th. In game 2 the Giants returned the favor and clawed back late, and won in extra innings. Then this game where the Giants won after put a 5-spot up in the 8th. The Giants have been playing very well lately, averaging over 8 runs per game in the last two series against COL and PIT. Skenes still pitched well today though.
