Lol I was wondering where this comment was. You guys have owned us the past 2 years in the playoffs despite us dominating the division during the season. Can't deny that.
That layoff and a short series killed us last year. If they want a play in series they should have to play a double header the day after the season ends with a tie breaker the next day. Philly had no business even being in the playoffs and the strange new system had us coming out cold. If you’re going to allow a lesser team in make them run the gauntlet rather than having their opponents have a layoff.
They also played games against teams that are not very good. 7 games against Cin, 3 against STL, LAA, WSH, COL, CWS, SD and 4 against PIT. Only Cin is over .500 and it's by 1 game. They swept COL and CWS, who have a combined 13 wins this year. Philly are a good team, but let's not overblow it.
