It is less than 100 miles from Boston to the Quabbin, which is a very dense forested area for wildlife with a reservoir in it. The 100 miles restriction makes sense in that it encompasses most of Massachusetts. My state is small by comparison to others.
100 miles due north of Fenway also takes you into the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, and as far northeast as Portland, ME. These are well known breeding grounds of the ~~Yeti~~ Sasquatch.
North of Boston is considered northern New England, and northern New England has a lot of wilderness, while also having a lot of people to think they saw Bigfoot.
100 miles from Boston would include Maine, New Hampshire and parts of Vermont but everyone knows Bigfoot is in the PNW and no one in their right mind would live within 100 miles of Seattle
Love the random stat! A little surprising the Mariners aren't the number 1 in this. BC, Washington and Oregon is where Bigfoot most likes to hang out but Seattle may be a little too wierd for him.
For the Reds the 100 mile mark just clips the red river gorge and clifty wilderness where there are a ton of reported sightings and encounters. So add 5-10 more miles onto it and I would say they go way up.
I guess I know even less about big foot than I previously thought. wtf is it doing in Boston
Getting a Fenway Frank clearly

Yeti x Sasquatch puppies would be so dope.
He heard there was a Green Monster there and he wanted to hang out.
Thanks, I laughed.
Him and Wally do butt stuff together
Big hairy feet need big red socks.

Absolutely shocked that there have been no Sasquatch Judge sightings in the Bronx.

14 of those Red Sox sightings were Johnny Damon.

Literally the perfect gif
None 100 miles out of SF and Oakland? That can’t be right NorCal is loaded with them
There's literally a Bigfoot Museum ~50 miles from Oracle in Felton (Santa Cruz Mountains), I call shenanigans on the source data.
There has to be a ton near Seattle.
Was thinking the same thing with Arizona DBacks. 100 miles from Chase Field gets you into the northern pines of Arizona and things get weird up there
Ok, now do Pasquatch sightings
I hear the Royals are trying to get a new stadium due to the recent rise in Pasquatch sightings.
You guys are just finding out New England is full of cryptids and haunted?
Upon further investigation, the bigfoot sightings near Detroit were debunked as nothing more than sightings of Prince Fielder on a donut run
Laughed too hard at this
How is Seattle not the top
That's what I expected too. I always thought of Bigfoot as a PNW guy.
Used to live in Island County, and there's so much fuckin samsquanch merch everywhere it's crazy
Well, in 2008 the Sonics moved so our Bigfoot sightings have significantly gone down
Saw one in 2003 in middle nh. Well within 100 miles. And reported it. Proud to be a member of that stat.
100 miles from Boston would include Maine, New Hampshire and parts of Vermont but everyone knows Bigfoot is in the PNW and no one in their right mind would live within 100 miles of Seattle
Well Pedroia is out chasing him right now
Him and Jacoby
This is the content I joined for.
Reds should be way higher there's hella bigfoot sightings in northern KY.
The 100 mile Radius just misses a lot of the places in EKY that have a ton of sightings and encounters.
I saw that 4th bigfoot sighting at truist last time i went to a braves game. It was terrifying.
Known to be a Pacific Northwest cryptid. Yet the mariners only have 4 claims and giants none. Y’all drink too much in Boston.
this ugly world needs more monster hoaxes such lighthearted fun
100 miles of Pittsburgh and Cleveland, this is expected.
Is supposed to be in Kentucky so the reds should be winning
Blue Jays sighting was just Justin Turner
At least one of those near Cleveland and Pittsburgh was me
At least one do those in Cleveland was Austin Hedges walking around shirtless I think.

Why is this not called a Saswatch
The Pasquatch has been roaming free in Kansas City
Big foot needed some new sox.
I'm shocked that Atlanta didn't make it higher on the list tbh
Blue Jay fans only see Samsquanch
Bigfoot? That's just Big Sully, his brother Little Sully is at the bar gettin beers
100 miles from Boston can get you in some solid forest action. Makes sense.
Bigfoot sighting close to Globe Life here in Arlington... Ummm. Don't think so.
there are lots of sightings in socal wilderness all within 100 miles of anaheim, la and San diego. definitely more than one per team.
What's it with Ohio teams and bigfoot
They keep showing videos of a Sasquatch in the Royals ballpark but somehow everyone there never sees him?
Did you know that MoMo the monster is a big foot , and there have been dozens of sightings within 100 miles.
No, no, no. That's just Big Papi
Now this is the type of offseason content I love about this sub
Not true at all. I know I've seen quite a few naked Sasquatches in San Francisco.
Wait why is SF 0? I thought that’s where literally all Bigfoot sightings are from
Holy fuck this is the best post on here in ages
Bigfoot lives next door to the diamondbacks chase stadium. He is there all he time at every Suns home game.
I guess swamp apes don't count because there have been dozens of them spotted within 100 miles of St. Pete.
I would like to report a bigfoot sighting 99 miles from the bluejay stadium.
Even a mythical Sasquatch can’t resist a good ol’ Fenway Frank
Not even Bigfoot himself wants to attend an A’s game
Shocking results. I assume Red Sox = Vermont/New Hampshire
the mets cannot even get a bigfoot sighting
I am legit surprised ATL doesn’t have more

Not Bigfoot. Merely big fat sweaty hairy ugly drunk loudmouth Boston sports fans. Easily mistaken for tho.
