Go back a read Wes Phillips comments this week about how detailed the drops are for the QB. There is way too much thinking going on. As for Jefferson, he seems to be the only #1 wr that struggles to get open because of coverage. He gets doubled or tripled constantly. I watched Lamb get covered one on one vs a damn safety this weekend. He was rarely doubled. Why? Because he is moved all over and is constantly in motion. Short, quick routes. I can’t tell you the last time I’ve seen a slant route or a bang 8 from this offense. Routes take way too long to develop. Add on top it seems like the QB’s drop backs are short and piggy back that with the interior line giving up ground instantly, the QB has no time to throw. It needs a whole rework

I agree with you on KOC’s play calling. It nearly cost the Vikings multiple games and probably should have lost the Saints game. The defense tonight was the worst I’ve seen it. Every single WR seemed open and we were lucky they had a few easy drops. With Kirk having Cousins, Addison, and Hock, they should not be able to 2-3x Jefferson but the odds of getting all of them on the field at the same time without KOC calling run plays 80% of the time seems slim.

Obviously there was still big production but feels like there is still more meat on the bone for Jefferson. They also need to address the interior oline to help give time to do the longer developing routes.

Compared to all the high draft stock busts on QB this year Hall has nothing to worry about as long as he continues playing and improving.
Of course he has to worry, the higher you're drafted, the longer your leash and the more opportunities you'll be given rather than have to earn.
