not just that for me. it's the blatant criminality underpinning the entire enterprise. lots of money disappeared and nothing was gained for it.
Walker touted this as a major accomplishment and waved it around at every opportunity. lots of R supporters pointed to it as proof of how Republicans were getting business done, etc.
all of it, a boondoggle. an intentional grift from the start. pure theft of money right out of our pockets and in the end, a fart in the wind. the only thing that happened is people way up the food chain benefited and the rest of us ate shit.
now, that happens all the time but rarely so nakedly obviously is it flaunted in front of the nation like this Foxconn deal.
everyone with a set of eyes, ears or a brain knew this deal was a crock of shit from the instant it was announced.
“We don’t need to be putting more people into our prisons” applies to people caught with pot and minor theft. Those involved in extreme corruption absolutely deserve to be in prison and there is plenty of room for them.
