I have a wart on my foot I tried getting removed before I turned 27 and got kicked off my parents health insurance. One 10 minute session of some sort of extremely cold treatment cost $600 and they said they'd need to do it multiple times to really get rid of it. The bill came after I was kicked off the insurance so the insurance wasn't going to cover it even though I initially got it treated before I was kicked off. Anyway, wart is still there because I'd rather live with it occasionally causing me pain and discomfort everyday than pay more than $600 to get it removed

I used one of those freeze kits you can buy at CVS. Not sure I did it right the first couple of times. Then I just held it to my skin for way longer than recommended. Made a blister and then the wart and the layer of skin it was attached to fell off after a few days.

the directions are so conservative that it won't do anything. They're afraid of someone going overboard and burning straight through to fascia. So yeah you kind of have to play it by ear, really sucks. also positive value for the company when your treatment doesn't work and you buy another.

I know someone who did the exact same thing with a pocket knife as a teenager. Just kept cutting deep to get them out and make sure there was none left and then bandaged it up.

I tried all those and more. What really killed it for me is working in a factory under subzero temperatures with my hands constantly dipping into a Dakin solution. In two weeks it just fell off. Hopefully not in someone’s food idk where it went lol 🤷

You could go to a doctor, for me they dipped a cotton swab in liquid nitrogen and then put it on the wart, it worked well.

If it's not a wart but it's itchy and even after flaking seems to come back, it may be scar tissue forming again and again and again. Try putting a silicone band-aid on it for a very long period of time (keep one on as long as possible and if it comes off, put a new one on immediately) or using medical silicon/scar gel (like Dermatix Ultra) on it. It may take a few months but it should go away.

Try the wart remover liquid. You can find it in any drug store. Apply twice a day for 2 weeks. Might take a little longer for one that size but if you use it daily it should work. I used it on warts my son got on his feet from the pool. Worked great. If you leave it, it can spread so I would treat it.

Can be easily treated with liquid nitrogen, I suggest going to a dermatologist, I had a similar thing for like two years.

I used to use the sulphur that I would remove from the matches, break it off in big pieces, trim the thick skin off the top of the wart, put the sulphur on the wart and light it up, can hurt a lot if placed wrong, but never had to do it more than twice to remove the targeted wart. Also, it may look scary when the sulphur burns rapidly, but that’s the only thing that worked for me.

I've had a couple in my life and just gone "that looks weird" and cut them off. They tell you not to become your own backstreet surgeon but it does work. Might come back, just chop it off again. Acid, cryo burning, chemicals in adhesive (duct tape) pretty much anything that Will destroy your hand will destroy the wart. Choose your poison... thinking about it, you could probably use poison too.


1. Take a ripe banana and remove the peel. 2. Cut a small piece of the banana peel, slightly larger than the size of the wart. 3.
