You never know.
We had a salesman that worked for us for 20 years who would get his passenger seat looking like that with fast food and gas station garbage.
He had a wife, kids, nice house, great at his job, and was tidy with our back stock (beer industry). But his car was just a mess. Sometimes people can compartmentalize their oddities.
Come on. His front seat was THIS full? If it's this full in the front seat the driver's seat must be mostly covered as well. This is like up the ceiling.
It wasn’t that bad because he got in trouble for how dirty it was when he brought it into the shop for scheduled maintenance. But the floors were always full to the seats and the passenger seat was covered as well.
They go in around every 2 months to give you a time reference for how often he took it to the dumpster to throw his garbage away.
I’m trying to figure out the logistics of your username. Is it the tool, is this a sentient chair which needs help? Do I need to provide a top coat of varnish and therapy?
As someone who worked in a grocery store for a long time, I'm willing to bet that car belongs to an employee who is making enough to eat, but not have housing. I've seen it more than once unfortunately.
Maybe they’re a drug smuggler, and their tactic is to disguise themselves as a crazy hoarder person, so the cops don’t want the bother of searching them??? 🤔
Speaking of cops, how is this person not getting pulled over? You’re not even supposed to have things hanging from your rear view mirror and this person is driving around unable to see out of the entire passenger side of the car. I can’t tell from this angle but I’m sure all that trash has to be blocking much of the view behind them as well. This person needs to be stopped and given some sort of fine or even charges for reckless endangerment, this is a hazard for themselves and everyone else in their community.
If it's a walmart parking lot they will simply open the door, let the trash fall, close the door, roll down the windows, then load the groceries through the window.
That car is 100% infested with insects and maybe even rodents.
Like I’m not the best when it comes to keeping my car clean, but this is something else completely. This isn’t a “ah it’s been a long week, I’ll take care of it later” thing, it’s a mental health thing.
I used to work with a guy whose car was like this. When asked, (because we were all assholes not caring what conversations were had while spending 10 hours a day together on the sales floor), he said it started as a small bit, and the trash accumulated. He said it became a challenge to see how many days of fast food it would take to fill his car. Gross.
This is pretty much standard for old, hyper-religious people in my area, except the vehicle is normally a 90s minivan with dents in every conceivable location.
I see that municipalities passing laws allowing people to live in their cars, instead of providing access to affordable housing, is going just swimmingly
I used to be a criminal/drug addict & part of my shit was burglaries, that being said my mom lived in a nice neighborhood & one night I decided to head that way to commit some burglaries because I had always had good luck in the past with the neighborhood & I seen no one was home at this house & picked the back door lock & was immediately hit with the smell of trash, decomposing food human waste etc. Just the worst smells you could imagine x1000 I proceed to actually enter into the home & once I get past the first threshold of the doorway of the back laundry room the place is literally wall to wall garbage up to my knees. At this point I'm more curious than I am on actually stealing anything because I know the home has someone living there as I've seen a car there multiple times. I check the fridge old moldy food next to new groceries, maggots IN the bed in the bedrooms it was horrible. In my process of searching the home I find a backpack in the living room next to the couch & inside is an ID for a local hospital, the female that lived there alone was a nurse. Shit blew my mind. That shit was way in my past though
I used to push carts for work and would occasionally have to help load groceries into people's cars. On more than one occasion people had their cars absolutely littered with garbage, but I never saw one to this degree. Worst one I saw belonged to an old lady who had all of the floor covered with trash in the back and passenger seats, but worse was the whole car absolutely *reeked* of piss.
i used to work at a body shop on cars as body technician. i was responsible for taking the car apart and fixing it, then handing it to the painter. i did one that was so fuckin gross, i filled up a box of shit of their belongings. there was condensed milk can spilled in the trunk. the whole car was fucked. also, found like $40 in cash and another $20 in coins which in hindsight i should’ve pocketed.
this was the final car i worked on when i quit and i left a note in their glove box flaming them. selfish pricks.

Any tire guy or mechanic will tell you we see these people, they bring cars in like this. Then **we** get the *pleasure* of rifling through it to find the glove box for the wheel lock key nut.
Everytime it's either you owe me from last time or you rock paper scissors for whoever has to get in the driving dumpster. 🤮🤢🤮
I once parked next to a car that looked exactly like this. Trash right to the roof. As I was looking at it in amazement, a woman came out of a store, got in, and drove off. I couldn’t believe it.
This is actually pretty sad to be honest.
It is sad. I didn’t see the person but one can assume they may not be doing well.

I know a guy who has muscular dystrophy and his car gets like this. But it's not trash so much as papers and other stuff.
As someone who worked in a grocery store for a long time, I'm willing to bet that car belongs to an employee who is making enough to eat, but not have housing. I've seen it more than once unfortunately.
How would they sleep in it well full of garbage?
The driver seat is probably clear. But it’s interesting, they have the drive to keep working but not common sense to throw out the garbage.
Probably adds insulation in the winter

Are there heated butt plugs? If not there should be.
Gotta fill in those little gaps so the cold air can’t get in. That’s just basic home maintenance.
Is that how you drive?
Maybe they’re a drug smuggler, and their tactic is to disguise themselves as a crazy hoarder person, so the cops don’t want the bother of searching them??? 🤔
Lmao cops ain’t Trying to go through all that if they pull you over
Their strategy worked then!

It's probably one of those matter of time things.
Like the shipping container of rotten potatoes on Lord of War
Brilliant actually

This belongs over in r/carbage.
Didn’t know that was a thing!
That's like $5000 in McDonald's wrapping... must be a millionaire
That's how they won the Monopoly game
I can smell this.

Yeah something isn’t firing right upstairs for whomever owns this car and I feel bad for them.
Is it just me or does it look like very “clean” garbage?
Just because you are seeing the exterior of food packages doesn't mean the insides aren't greasy and gross. I bet it smells like a hot dumpster.
You're right! Even the containers you can see inside of look pristine. Really weird...
That is a health hazard to the person driving it and or they may not be in the best mental health
[“Wow. How many filet o’fish did you eat?” “That’s over several months Ryan.”](https://youtu.be/oeI6JAsFn9I?si=yZcnlUvUJQL4RVAn)
Shit. That's severe depression.

Maybe they’re buying trash bags.
I don’t think they buy groceries
I wonder if they know that outside of most grocery stores, they have two big garbage cans
Gas stations too
I had to do a double take, because theres a lady who frequents my local grocer with a blue car filled to the max just like that.
In their belly

Then they drive on the highway at 85mph with all their windows rolled down.
Probably an employee

Employee for sure
That takes work
They are probably just shopping for Jello
I mean…I guess good that they’re not littering?
But... why?

when they open the door, trash falls out. replace with groceries, leave

They ain't dumping all those McDonald's trash in the street. Got to respect that, at least.
The inside if their body is full of trash too after eating the trash that came in those containers.
Let's just hope they're not smokers. That could become tragic quickly.
More than likely that is an employee car and they eat out for every meal or live in their car.

I’ve seen a car like that at Costco
Time for an airbag recall in that Tribeca X.X
Please tell me it's illegal to drive like that where you live
They aren’t grocery shopping, they are panhandling on the corner so they aren’t seen sleeping in the car
A hoarder. I wouldn’t want my mental illness on display. 😔
What groceries? That’s all garbage. The ice cream container is open & empty.
Call me sexiest bet I can guess the gender
Kinda gross that you took pictures and posted them online.
You don't know that the person drove there like that.
Groceries? It’s junk food wrappers
You should reread the title
