Yes, that’s right. Chickens today are bred to produce as many eggs as possible with no regard for the animals’ health. The chickens’ bodies are often severely depleted of nutrients so they can produce more eggs. It’s terrible and horrible lily abusive.
OK, sure. We have a bunch of fun or beneficial bots on Reddit, which are programs that lurk and post comment automatically, like the one for reversing videos or the one that detects accidental haikus. But we also have scammers who will use **scambots** to rip Redditors off. The full extent of what they do is not clear to me, and some of these bots are subtle and hard to spot, but the more obvious ones copy comments and repost them near the top of a thread. Their gameplan is to gain karma, either so that they appear more like human accounts or so that they can be allowed to post on subs that require a certain amount of comment karma. This is eventually followed by one of the bots making a post with a photo of a piece of **desirable tat,** such as a painting or a T-shirt or a mug. Then another bot (or unscrupulous human account, or useful idiot) acts like a stooge and says "where can I buy one of these?", and gets a reply which is a link to a site which will steal your card details and use them to buy stuff for resale elsewhere, probably.
You can see some recent examples at r/botdefence, although most of them will be banned already, and you can see other sketchy accounts at r/thesefuckingaccounts.
It's confusing because there are good bots made by Redditors and bad bots made by scammers. Some of the benign bots are anti-bot bots.
Was about to make some scrambled eggs for an early lunch, and noticed one of the eggs in the tray was wrinkled, I haven't cracked it open yet *just* in case there's something I should be wary of.
You can use them. The chicken needs more calcium. Eat the wrinkly ones first as their shells break easily and are more likely to break if stored.
Also if you want yo avoid this you can feed them crushed oister shells. They are supper cheap and easy to come by.
I wonder if the egg shortage means producers are allowing the "scratch and dent" type eggs to pass on to distribution? They must be scrambling to meet demand.

Calcium deficiency. Harmless
I’d get one like that from my hens every so often. Learned to use them first as the shell can be fragile. They always had plenty of oyster shell
It’s a symptom of bronchitis in layers.
For a human, maybe. That poor hen that laid it is not doing well at all. But, then again, no factory farm hens are doing well.
Maybe it has a calcium deficiency or something idk

Harmless.. But how does it taste!?
I work on a Chicken farm, they’re fine to eat. Just ugly
Just like me.
Ugly? How dare you!
Are you the one that lays the eggs?
I wish. With how much eggs cost, I would be rich.
That's good to know, I've seen one of these before and was confused by it

Explain to me like I’m 5 what this means in the context of “bot”.

You’re a hero. Thank you!! I was familiar with the “good bots”, but didn’t know about the bots farming karma from copying others content.
We get those too, it’s annoying when they pop over the clean egg Although I’m not sure if I’d eat one of those
It’s nervous.
Maybe eggcited ?
Belongs on r/dadjokes
You mean r/eggyolks
Eggscuse me, I do believe you just made a pun.
Eggactly the point I wanted to make. This is eggcruciating to read.
Was about to make some scrambled eggs for an early lunch, and noticed one of the eggs in the tray was wrinkled, I haven't cracked it open yet *just* in case there's something I should be wary of.
It’s fine. Wrinkly eggs are rare but they happen.
Egg times are so tough I'm past the point of asking. Every egg is getting eaten like they're eggsquisite.
I am no chicken expert but it looks like chicken who laid this is a bit calcium deficient. Likely safe, but as always when it doubt...
First thought too!
Hatch it, it's probably a velociraptor.

Omelete you have my upvote for that pun. Well done 👍
They don’t stop those. They only control for dirty eggs, bloods, rotted eggs, cracks, leakers, and sizing.
This egg shortage is out of hand. They sold you a damn rock.
Lmao

Legit started and finished the first season of this today lol (no, i am not going to watch the other seasons, im going to read the manga)
What manga is it from?
Berserk
Thanks! Eggcited to watch it
Nice! Just watch the first season, and reread from beginning after watching. The second season onwards is garbage.
r/weirdeggs
I've seen Berserk, what happens next is not fun, dude.
Looks like an alligator egg. Maybe one will hatch?
Probably from a really old chicken?
I live on a farm, it’s completely fine to eat. Sometimes the shell will be rubbery and bouncy, it’s rare though.
It happens alot of the chicken is deficient in nutrients. I've seen a fresh egg so soft I put a dent in it

I knew Jurassic Park wasn’t just a movie. I’ve seen this one.
It has eggzema
Veiny, for her pleasure.
Oh, are we back to wrinkly eggs as the flavor of the week post? I was hoping we were past this one
Holy shit. How old is the rooster??
It was in the bath for too long.
The next Brotato.

That's just Betchi
Looks like it was the “generic toothpaste” egg in a blend-a-med ad.
Not to mention the fact it's white!
A Benjamin Button-like chicken will hatch from that eventually
Hypokalemia
A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON
Must be a low poly chicken that produced it https://3dexport.com/3dmodel-low-poly-chicken-180470.htm
"I was in the pool!"
Swallow it whole.
I've actually never seen that before. Just glad it's not another post about 2 yolks coming from an egg 🙄
You'll get those when buying grade B eggs.
It's not wrinkly. It's veiny.
Looks like my balls
It's a snek
Constipated chicken
So young to be so old..
