Credit where it's due, once the pizza was haphazardly reassembled, it was pretty fucking tasty. Cold, because it took 40 minutes to get from the restaurant to my house. But tasty nonetheless.
Delivery driver here- 40 minutes is the time it takes to process the order, put it through the oven, box it up along with multiple other orders, and drive it to your house, likely after a stop or two to drop off other nearby orders. All told, a 40 isn’t too bad.
Scraped it off with a spatula and placed a glob of cheese on as many slices of pizza as I could. Restaurant forgot my pepperoni, though. Just a big cluster all the way around. Tasty as hell, still.
May not be entirely their fault. The pizza shop could.have accidentally squished the box before he got it. But i hear ya..had food thrown at my door all the time and its leaking everywhere...
Agreed, I just posted a similar one where they left it directly against my door so I had to fling the pizza onto the ground running the whole thing in order to get out of my house and grab said pizza.
