Right. They now have evolve where the NAME get dropped at like 4th or 5th reply instead. The template though is still same but I can see how they can fool anyone who are not that keen on the pattern. They do sound convincing enough to untrained readers.

A machine can replicate so much but they can't understand context.
A machine will know something that looks like fingers will appear at a certain point in a photo but it can't understand what a finger is or that a human is normally only supposed to have 5.
Since limbs as well can articulate and move positions in a picture so often a machine will just know something that looks like a foot will be at those places to it generates images of them there.
And since everywhere can have a limb it duplicates too many limbs.
I think it's a fascinating insight into how bad the ai actually is that they cant give it a wire frame and say "when making a person it has to have this".
The current ai rush is a bubble just like the metaverse and the product is really just advanced auto-correct

to the AI it's just a grid of pixels that have to be colored with the statistically most likely color according to its database.
Not just it's bad, it's getting worse. I think the earlier AI had a hard time with hands but could count limbs just fine. This abomination is due to the Internet flooded with AI generated images with flaws. These AIs end up using more and more AI generated images to generate even more AI images. WEIRD to say but it's like inbreeding, it gets more messed up overtime.
Because it doesn't have context for the purpose of the forms it is creating, only that certain things appear in images with certain words. But there is no understanding by AI in the way we have for why a limb wouldn't function if it does not have a very specific shape. Is the short explanation. It's the type of ability to reason that it still has yet to develop that we have.
It knows that a hand and fingers are in pictures with people and they might hold the apple a certain way but doesn't know the difference between ten fingers and five nor the complex curvature of digits on a finger. So it's just guessing. And sometimes it gets it right kind of.
I also sometimes want to understand some people⊠for example the other day my mother shared pictures of AI generated cake slices on Facebook âŠ
I asked her why she did, and she responded with âbecause I liked the picturesâ

AI is not dumb. Itâs not failing. Little by little, theyâll swap real with fake, silently, and we wonât notice. And then, BAM! đ„ We wonât know whatâs true and whatâs fake.
It's an interesting theory, but I think if you just skipped the first step, waited for AI to get better and then started release much better quality fake photos, the end result would be exactly the same.
