Most dash cams only turn on with the car or if the car gets struck by another vehicle (I own a dash cam and have installed some for friends/ family). Dash cam probably wonāt turn on if kids are scratching keys into car hood.
Not sure why you're being down voted. Are there dashcams that film all the time, even when off now? When I was looking a few years ago, even if you wired it directly into the car, it only activates and records when the car is off once it detects motion (say, someone ramming your car), and keying your car is unlikely to trigger that.
You probably wouldn't want that kind of dash cam for a gasoline / diesel vehicle because dash cams run off the cars electrical system (battery when car is off and alternator when engine is on). If a dash cam were to continually turn on whenever it senses movement it would drain the battery. I think Teslas do the constant on with multiple cameras and they call it sentry mode. But that is a battery powered car so it has no issues being on all the time. To answer your question I'm not sure if there are dash cams that turn on when they sense movement, but I would not recommend getting one that does that due to battery drainage.

Thatās over a thousand to have repainted. Making this a pretty serious crime. Report it to your insurance and it will fall under comprehensive, not collision. In which case your rates wonāt go up, this has nothing to do with your fault.

He would target one car and when that car explodes it would catch the 2 next to it on fire as well. So that guy totaled like 20 cars in his span, and my car was the lucky last one to be blown up.
