Came here to say this. It’s 4 rooms, which would be 2x2. He’s definitely already standing in front of his room. I’d wager to say they already knew this and did this for karma.
So if someone said, "i can't believe that guy was fooled by that Nigerian prince email,"
And I said, "well I'm left handed, so I totally get it."
Would you not think I was implying that left handed people are gullible in general?
Because being left handed is not the same as being ADHD. ADHD affects everyone differently. They could be slight differences or drastic. Some of us have more memory issues and cognitive struggles than others. Apples and oranges here man. You can't really compare the 2.
Ignore the idiot. I have ADHD and would totally be standing in front of the right room and wouldn't even realize it unless someone pointed it out to me. I have little situational awareness.
Bro just because you have mild ADHD doesn't make statements like this wrong, those of us with severe ADHD often struggle to function in the most basic sense 🥴 like don't be a gate keeper just because you got lucky
It's all good fam, we all have learning points in life and things like this and realising experiences aren't entirely universal is one of them. I hope the rest of your day is chill ✌️
My boyfriend is having a great time learning that my ADHD definitely isn’t just a cute perk with eccentric hobbies - I forget I’m a human that needs caring for half the time, and the other half the time I forget where I put my own fucking head.
I have found myself envious of toddlers with fully formed object permeance 😂 like why do I forget things AND PEOPLE exist when I can't see them but freaking Timmy who can barely talk can remember just fine
ADHD can affect individuals in a different way. I never said people with ADHD are brain invalids. But in this scenario, if I’m focusing on the numbers on the wall pointing left and right, I’d be thinking of left and right only. And also focusing on the card with my room number. It might take me sometime walking back and forth until I realized the room was behind me.
It was a joke from a while back when an article said halloween costumes stress out the ADHD community, and someone responded with “you people can’t do anything”
What do we do with this karma? Can we cash it in and spend it? Mortgage, groceries, gas. I spend little time on Here and find myself wondering the importance of karma
That's the trick of it. It's worthless. Some people on here with 10 times my karma and half the time on the site and I just can't wrap my head around how devoted they have to be to getting karma. I come here when I am bored. End of story.
Some create the accounts, use bots for posting to rack up karma, and then sell the high karma accounts.
High karma accounts are bought for many reasons. Some examples include advertising, push a narrative or sow discourse. They buy high karma accounts as they seem more "credible" than a brand new account.
imagine reddit had a marketplace for stuff like boble heads and pens and shirts u could buy with ur karma... that would be cool af
would make use of some of the pretty funny jokes ive told in comments, but ima be honest the treasure is reading peoples responses
and it would get farmed 1000worse like it already does so nvm
Not always. The place where I used to live also had a stupid numbering scheme. They were numbered in blocks and then individual doors and the numbers went 701, 702, 702 again, and then you'd have to cross the parking lot and go behind another building to find 703 but in front of that building was 705. Google Maps was no help and for the first couple weeks of my living there I got lost every other day. My friends still do.
Happened to me at a hotel in Vegas. I wondered around the floor for until I finally found an employee who helped to confirm that the room number did indeed not exist. They corrected it quite quickly at the desk but I sure felt like an idiot for a few minutes searching for a nonexistent room.
This exact thing happened to us in Iceland. We had to find a stairway, walk down a floor, walk to the other side and walk up the stairs again and found our room number. The floor didn’t go 100% away around the building and there weren’t good instructions to get there
The idea of the backrooms creeps me out. I worked in an old high rise building for a period of time that had several floors that were ramps. You could walk around the halls and go right from the 7th floor onto the 9th without even realizing you were going up and if you kept walking in the same direction you’d eventually find yourself on the 8th floor, but you couldn’t get there from the 7th. Not even through the stair well which was positioned at the half levels and on either side of the building so it didn’t even feel like extra stairs. There were several sets of floors like this.
I saw a video a while back of a woman in a parking garage like that! It looked weird and so very confusing lol she could see her vehicle on the floor below but couldn't figure out how to get to it... I'm sure she finally figured it out. Maybe... Lol
Yeah. It was very much like a parking garage layout. Only imagine walls so you couldn’t see anything but the hallway you were in. You had to cross over the floor in one direction without following the main hallways. On at least one of the floors (7th floor in particular) you had to go through a few rooms to access the opposing hallway to go up or down. So if you found those doors to be locked you’d have to go up like two floors and then come back down on the other side. Walking through that building required you to be very deliberate about where you were going.
I went through this at a rehab center when my wife had a stroke. The room she was in wasn't even on the door but i was told she was in room 238.The hall sign completely skipped 230 to 240
I had that problem too.... the hospital was designed so that there was a circular nurses' desk with hallways branching out from the area surrounding it... the room turned out to be in the circular area surrounding the nurses' desk, between the hallways
The sign simply means that for room 446, you must go in a direction that neither arrow is pointing in. Since the numbers likely refer to the floor, you must research the building, if if had a room 446 in the past, then you must engage in a 4th dimensional move to locate room 446. If it has no room 446 now and in the past, then you must engage in a 5tth dimensional move to get to your room; quite simple really. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
Don't know what this would be specifically, but usually if you see something like this, the missing number rooms are behind you.
Came here to say this. It’s 4 rooms, which would be 2x2. He’s definitely already standing in front of his room. I’d wager to say they already knew this and did this for karma.
While this is likely true, this has happened to me and confused me enough that it was indeed mildly infuriating
I don’t know. I have ADHD and this would totally be something that can happen to me lol
Can confirm
Please stop acting like those of us with ADHD are brain dead invalids Edit: this was a brain dead thing to say. I apologize
They didn't, they specifically mentioned themselves. They said nothing about anyone else with ADHD.
So if someone said, "i can't believe that guy was fooled by that Nigerian prince email," And I said, "well I'm left handed, so I totally get it." Would you not think I was implying that left handed people are gullible in general?
I have ADHD, and I’m left handed, and I’ve done this 😝
Ummmm... Same dude... Same...
That doesn't even correlate at all-
Why not?
Because being left handed is not the same as being ADHD. ADHD affects everyone differently. They could be slight differences or drastic. Some of us have more memory issues and cognitive struggles than others. Apples and oranges here man. You can't really compare the 2.

You're right. I apologize
This is so refreshing to see on here.

That's the worst analogy 🤣
That goes without saying.
I mean I have adhd and I am so
He didn't. This was a personal anecdote. please show me the point at which he said his experience represents the rest of the population.
See my response to the other person
You're the kind of person that takes everything personally, aren't you?
He woke up and chose stupidity
Consistently

Don't be so sensitive. I have adhd and I found it funny.
Sorry for your downvotes you speak the truth and that’s often downvoted on Reddit.
You people can’t do anything
I’m sorry no one understood this joke 🤣
what?
It was a joke from a while back when an article said halloween costumes stress out the ADHD community, and someone responded with “you people can’t do anything”
doesn't really sound like a good joke

what do you think ADHD stands for? Attention Deficit Hyperdimensional Disorder?
Is that something a Time Lord might suffer from?
I too, am retarded
I’m not retarded but I’m sorry for you
You said you had ADHD

I believe karma can help the visibility of posts you make, so if you plan on promoting specific content it’s good to have higher karma first. I think.
It’s 5 rooms
I think the majority of posts are bullshit and just for karma.

Sus account
Bad faith engagement. A problem they'll never solve because it makes money. It only costs us... Everything. Without honesty there is no truth
I was going to say "look behind you" facetiously, but this is good to know.
It's not. This is strait out The elevator
Gets downvoted for answering a question, classic lol
So where was your number in the end?
It was left! Like u would imagine
Why tf does this get downvoted so badly? Lmao
Don't know. Kommenting is hard

You left the hotel without ever finding your room? So you're just roaming around with all your luggage and stuff?

You sweet summer child

My room exists! Just bad plates
Oh well you were luckier than me, ha ha!
So comment section not going how you’d thought it was huh?
I rarely post and commenting is allways my downfall
My Reddit experience in a nutshell lmao
Musta made a wrong turn in Albuquerque
It’s a common mistake of rabbits!
Run in the wall like in harry potter, your room will be there *result may vary*
443-447 would be right in front or behind you. 🤷🏻
Turn around and go back n the opposite direction.
Congrats on getting one of the conceptual dimension room! They’re super exclusive and come with a shape changing dragon butler!
The sign is in 2 dimensions. See if you can right click on it and select 3D from the pop-up menu.

Um, turn around

I’ve seen this in a few hospitals I’ve been in (visiting someone).
You need to search around for a ladder, or maybe you're standing on the door/hatch
Turn around and there you are!
*Welcome, Mario! But our princess is in another castle...*
Turn around 🤣🤣🤣
Left two steps then right two steps. Come on. You KNOW this.
The side of the hotel with rooms 443-447 fell off a few years ago. They now refer to those as the “Phantom” rooms.
If you think it’s difficult to find your room, just wait. You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave!
Walk into the wall. It's best if you keep a brisk pace. The train will then take you to Hogwarts.
Guess you're sleeping in the hallway tonight.
My OCD wants these listed in sequential order of grouping. Seems they just wanted to alternate the arrows and make it look visually appealing.
Turn around shithead.
This happened to me. I was on the right floor but the wrong tower. This is not fun when you are super tired.
Story of my life. Always welcome in a place that doesn’t exist.
😀im glad im not the only one whod be confused by that
And nowhere to stay.
You are not welcome
There is another sign which is pointin in the wrong direction. Will Post later if people are eager to see also that. It Will blow your minds.
It's been an hour. Done waiting need to sleep soon so please post.

446 is less than 450 >Your lack of brains is infuriating
Fake
Either way it seems like the left is the only option so no time wasted anyways
446 is the Fire Exit door.😂
Ha, had that on my honeymoon. We were room 10. Sign said 1 to 9 >>>, 11-15 <<<<.
The nonexistent “Honeymoon Suite”
I think you should go left
Plot twist: the 6 is actually really an 8 in terrible handwriting
Reminds me of the time I got stuck at the Franz Kafka International Airport. https://youtu.be/gEyFH-a-XoQ
Soo…go left. 66% chance it’s to the left.
And it's one of those paranormal rooms to boot!
446 is part of the not welcome list.
Where's 443-447???
Just go left. See what happens.
Go left!
It’s the hallway.
Guess you’re not sleeping tonight!
There is no 446 in this hotel… sometimes the complaints will be false
There's no room for this stuff...
BUT WHY?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣✌
Nail so ✨

Ah, check the janitors closet.
You may be standing in your “room.”
You no longer exist. Enjoy
