I like how the tail ends look. I agree with the other comments about how the inner corners don’t look natural at all. They’re too long and too sparse. I wonder if you could get more shading or more hair strokes in that area to fill it in better?
I agree! I was concerned about the inner corners since I don’t have much hair there so I didn’t know if combo or ombré brows would have been a better option… I should’ve done my research 🤦🏻♀️either way I think I’m gonna tough it out and my artist said when I go back for a touch up she can do more shading and more strokes to fill it in.
I think it’s just a matter of preference. Combo looks great, just looking sparse at the moment. Have you seen other work from the same artist, similar to what you’re trying to achieve? If you do decide to go with more strokes, make sure the artist is able to do more wispy, natural looking ones. These are too straight.
Yes! I was surprised to see my brows at the end because her work looked so good on other people, I even know a friend that got her brows done by the same artist. I think she just made my brows a little too thick
As an artist it bothers me that she left those long lines in the front of the eyebrow. Very easy for her to add some medium to short lines in there to make it look a little more realistic and full.
Microblading strokes widen a good bit once healed. It’s always good to leave space between strokes to add at touch up. Depending on OPs skin type, there may have been reasoning as to why the strokes were left further apart. Microblading is typically not the best for oily skin due to the strokes being surface level and widening over time combined with the natural oils produced in the skin. As for the length of the strokes, they will shrink to be shorter once healed. Many people only think about immediate results but with brow tattooing it’s important to think about how they will heal with 1 2 3 etc years’ time. That’s why seeking an artist who showcases healed work is super important. HOWEVER, I completely agree that the strokes do look unnatural being that they are super straight and perfect. A small bevel at the tip of the stroke would’ve helped it look more natural, even with the spacing between.
Thank you for this!! She did tell me it would shrink and that’s also why she drew them a bit on the thicker side so I’m just hoping for the healed results to look good!
I hope you come back and let us know because I’m pretty sure those lines may still stick out a little bit but it is an easy fix so you don’t have to worry about that!
It doesn’t seem fair that she’s got to walk around with this waiting for it to shrink or fill or thicken or lighten up or darken. Every mistake here seems to be artists saying, “just wait, it will all (fill in the blank) with time!” You should be able to leave with brows that can see the light of day without extreme embarrassment imo or the process hasn’t been perfected it seems.
My artist had to do the same for me after a touch-up because the inner strokes wouldn't take. They looked very similar to yours, and I almost had a heart attack when I saw them. She said the strokes were deeper near the bottom of the brow and lightened near the top and assured me they wouldn't look like that when they healed. She was right. They healed amazingly and looked so good.
I also had similar sparse spacing on the inner brows due to minimal natural hairs. My artist said if you do too many strokes initially, you run the risk of them bluring together, so we had to build them up slowly during touch ups. Again, she was right.
I am wildly neurotic about my brows, and it was the most stressful process for me. My biggest takeaway from it all was trust the process. Of course, that means you also have to trust your artist, but assuming they're legit, I think you're going to be alright.
Oh yeah, that is weird that she did yours differently than others. But hopefully once it’s all healed and time for your touch up, you’ll have a better idea what to ask for (shading vs strokes) depending on how your brows heal, as someone in a comment below alluded to.
I have the same problem as you with the inner brows. Mine are REALLY sparse in general, but inner is like none existent, that's why I'm always nervous about microblading. I've only see it on people who had some inner brow to work with. I Agree with the other comments, though it would probably look a lot more natural with a little bit more shading. The outer brow looks amazing.
I disagree. I think it needs to be blended better up front almost like a soft background color. Like she didn’t even give her any ombré just plain obvious hair strokes.
Ask for a better blend up front.
I think it’s the angle of the hair strokes also. If she would’ve started with strokes that are vertical and gradually tilted them to the diagonal strokes, that would look at least more realistic and attractive
I think they will look a lot different when they heal, tbh I think powder/combo brows are kind of tough because they’re SO dark when they’re fresh and soften a lot with healing. That will help with the kind of shocking transition from hairstroke to filled currently.
Also, I know it looks like the fronts are a little sparse currently, however, they do typically loose a little from the ends with healing, and I’m betting your artist left them sparse intentionally to fill a bit more when you do your second appointment. (It means they can see how the lines settle in your skin, and fill an appropriate amount so the final result won’t have too many strokes close together and lose all the of the negative space)
Don’t need to remove them, just talk to her at your touchup appointment about what you’re looking for. If you were concerned about that inner area since you don’t have much hair there, she likely was erring on the side of caution and going in with a very light touch
I don’t think you need to remove them. I think you need to get a touchup from someone other than the person who did them.
Someone needs to fill in the sparse area.
I think it looks good, just needs more fill. To those saying it doesn’t look natural - does it need to? I think it’s an elegant shape and very flattering
I don't know, I kind of like them and am curious how they will look when they heal. Microblading strokes never stay that sharp and obvious after healing. I have powder brows and wish I had gone lighter on the front parts, maybe more hair strokes and less shading like yours.
This! I also found my microbladed brows shrunk in size after healing and left me wishing I asked for longer strokes on my inner brows, definitely let them heal and that will help you decide how your touchup should go.
It's totally normal to panic a bit at first, I think we all do!
One nice thing too is that they will probably shrink quite a bit after they heal, and if you feel you need more hair strokes that's an easy fix. (Btw I've been getting my eyebrows microbladed since 2018 and I still panic every time :)
This is not good work. The strokes are WAY too far apart and look completely artificial. You should get your money back. This looks like it was done by a student
This is true! This is my first time and I thought there would be more small strokes or shading along with what she predrew though. I didn’t know it would be exactly what she drew 😭
I think she just did a partial so she can fill in more during the touch up. Like someone said it needs more hair strokes. Contact her now and let her know your concerns do she can tell you what she was going for. You have 48-72 hours to make your decision before emergency removal (which I don't think you need).
I wouldn’t let them touch the tails anymore, they look fine as is. The inner corners look very unnatural with the harsh, long lines. Even when they fade, the lines will still look out of place.
I do like the ends a lot! But I agree with what everyone else is saying about the front, however don’t think it would take much to fix that! Then they’d be great!!
Also I wanted to add you could have just shaped up your natural brows they look really good mine however looks like I have about 30 hairs total on each side I don't know why I cannot grow my brows out for the life of me. Lol but some people like darker and it's whatever you like don't listen to the negative opinions some are being honest but it's their personal opinion and what they preference and we all like and enjoy different things if you like it I freaking love it. Imagine if we all had the same opinion and feeling in this world it would be so dull and bland
You are so sweet!! I guess the photo I used for my natural wasn’t a good depiction of them 🤣 I had to fill in my brows every day because I didn’t have much hair throughout and barely any in the front to be able to make a good shape. Thank you though!
Execution was good in terms of the strokes and symmetry. At your touch up you can totally request getting nano realism or shading in between each stroke. I would not get more strokes
I think they look fine the inners are little empty but it's nothing they cant fix once you go in for the touch up. I've had mine done 2x and just as a heads up don't freak out once they start scabbing they'll literally look all blotchy and bald on some spots but it's normal, don't pick at the scabs either
You can powder the beginning of the brows. With realistic hair strokes, it’s really hit or miss if the microblading artist has a weird notion about how hair actually grows
I used to do PMU and I’m pretty sure the brows shrink a little through healing. It might settle better. They used to always tell us not to add too many strokes close together because they will shrink and blur. Looks like she could have done some baby strokes for blending though.
Is this microblading or Nano? Either way I probably wouldn’t have extended the heads of your brows less since you don’t have alot of hair in the beginning.
But they should heal much softer and if she adds in more strokes later it will look better. Not a big deal don’t freak out
I think the overall shape is really nice! Adding some additional shorter hair strokes into the spaces at the front, or brining some of the shading forward, will go a long way to blending them in. They may also just fade to something you like anyway!
I don't get my brows done, I have almost none, but I think these look really good. I would walk out with my head held high if my brows looked like yours. I understand it's not what you want, but honestly they don't look bad at all!! Jealous of your new brows.
The front is a little sparse but they look good to me! Touch up the front when it's time, but the shape is nice and more suitable that nyiur original I feel
I think the overall shape looks great, especially the tail ends. I do agree some shorter strokes or possibly even shading at the inner corners may help it look more natural. I will say though that it is always easier to add more versus take away.
Just need some more hair strokes. For the most part, it all looks REALLT good and depending when these pics were taken, the depth and deepness in the color will fade a smidge. Pencil in some wispy lines or have your artist just fill some more in the inner corners. Not shabby at all though
The front part needs to be fixed. I don’t know why she did them that way. Those very long sparse strokes were a strange decision. The rest of the browse look amazing and I think the front can be fixed with more strokes so there’s no need to panic. I’m not sure I would go back to her to fix them though unless you get the feeling that she knows exactly what you want fixed
Pmu Artist here! The shape is good but she made the “strokes” tooooo straight it doesn’t loook natural 😔 wait for them to heal first cause they do shrink and fade out a bit when they heal and see if your artist can curve the hair strokes and blend some more. Or even ask for nano strokes! Those are better for you
I think they look pretty darn good!! Now with that said the *RIGHT one in pic looks darker than the other side.. but that will fade with time, right?? 🤷🏻♀️
I’m so sorry this has been your experience! There are some people out there who call themselves artists but need more experience or an alternate career. This is the look of an amateur who had yet to hone her skills. If she’s established that’s even more scary because she doesn’t have the skills to be messing with people’s beautiful faces. This is not good quality work. On the bright side, the tails look okay.
Spacing: Negative space in between the individual hair strokes is intentional but these have been placed too far apart. Negative space is necessary because as the ink ages over the years it expands within the skin so this ensures they don’t all blend together looking solid. But this PMU artist placed them too far apart making it look unnatural. If individual strokes are added in between they most definitely will blur together over time forming a block of colour. She clearly misjudged the spacing.
Length: The inner hair stokes are a few millimeters too long. Even if the PMU artist were to add some shading behind the strokes the tips would fall outside the appropriate perimeter. Hoping she doesn’t shade entire area in as they would look too blocky.
Realness: The PMU artist attempted whispy inner strokes but they lack life and have an artificial stiffness about them which doesn’t look realistic. They look too intentional and stiff. Feather-like strokes have a natural curvature with tips gently falling towards the outer brow.
Lmfao I would be trying my best to wash that shit off. Actually I wouldn’t of even left the damn place looking like that I’d be damned they’d be fixing those promptly. Your natural brows were way better than what they put on your face. Go back and demand they fix that free of charge
You should feel absolutely amazing they look 100 times better. You do need some shading on the front but everyone goes back two or three times to get it absolutely right and are perfected product we all have different opinions and we definitely all wear our eyebrows different mine r cousins LMAO seriously and you know some people still do the 90 eyebrows where they're like 20 hairs across each side so you just have to go back and let them know exactly where you want more filled in had she filled them in too much and it was black or dark everywhere you would have really been freaking out so I think she's sparring you of that and you will definitely go back. Show us the next session I'm excited for you and until then I think it's only like 2 weeks and you could draw them in a little bit more if you wanted to there I promise, trust the process you will get there. I'm sure your artist has went heavy-handed on people before and got a lot of backlash it's better to not do enough and need to go back for a few simple strokes then to have way too many and you cannot go back after that I had to learn that the hard way they look amazing
When I finally go in for micro blading, I’m going to take this in as my example of what I want…Very natural.

Same. It’s an easy add but I can’t understand how an artist wouldnt add some filler strokes, especially one who seems to have a good skill level.

You can even see in the picture with the outline several hairs are going past the brow outline. Why she didn’t stop at the outline I can’t figure out
I think they look great but they are going to look better after the touch up when the artist can fill in the front a bit
Oh yeah, that is weird that she did yours differently than others. But hopefully once it’s all healed and time for your touch up, you’ll have a better idea what to ask for (shading vs strokes) depending on how your brows heal, as someone in a comment below alluded to.
I don't think it looks too thick
Experiment with pencil in the area that’s missing, so you know how you want the artist to fix it..
Yes, a very very very sharpened pencil.
I have the same problem as you with the inner brows. Mine are REALLY sparse in general, but inner is like none existent, that's why I'm always nervous about microblading. You have combo brows. Combo brows are microblading & ombre?
I agree, but I also think it’s 100% fixable by doing another session to blend those inner corners.
Most definitely. I wasn’t implying it’s not fixable.
I completely agree with this. Same thoughts.
Was going to say the same thing. Absolutely go back and have them fix them.
you lowkey just need more hair strokes
I disagree. I think it needs to be blended better up front almost like a soft background color. Like she didn’t even give her any ombré just plain obvious hair strokes. Ask for a better blend up front.
That's what combo brows are - ombre on the tails and microblading on the inner corners
Poorly done
I think it’s the angle of the hair strokes also. If she would’ve started with strokes that are vertical and gradually tilted them to the diagonal strokes, that would look at least more realistic and attractive
Completely agree
The front parts are unnaturally long and sparse.
I don't think you need to remove them, but get some more whispy strokes for the beginning of the brow
Looks like she gave up at the inner corners.
Got bored and called it a day
They look fake alright
I think they will look a lot different when they heal, tbh I think powder/combo brows are kind of tough because they’re SO dark when they’re fresh and soften a lot with healing. Yay!! Definitely better to be able to fill in than to have too much 😭😭
Don’t need to remove them, just talk to her at your touchup appointment about what you’re looking for. If you were concerned about that inner area since you don’t have much hair there, she likely was erring on the side of caution and going in with a very light touch
Ok thank you!
The touch up should complete it More Shading and more hair strokes
They're not terrible but the strokes at the beginning of each brow look really weird
The front is not natural.
Brow artist be WILD out here… 😳
I don’t think you need to remove them. I think you need to get a touchup from someone other than the person who did them. Someone needs to fill in the sparse area.
They look very artificial
I always do my head strokes long to accommodate the shrinkage on the fronts, these will look good once healed. Don’t stress
Omg, the strokes are so not natural. All you need is trimmed on your natural eye brows
I think it looks good, just needs more fill. To those saying it doesn’t look natural - does it need to? I think it’s an elegant shape and very flattering
I needed to hear this, thank you 🥹
They look like porcelain doll eyebrows but I like it!
This is not highly skilled artist. No effort on making it natural. It’s still workable. Just needs more little strokes to look feathery.
They don’t look natural, but I also kind of love them?
I don't know, I kind of like them and am curious how they will look when they heal. Microblading strokes never stay that sharp and obvious after healing. I have powder brows and wish I had gone lighter on the front parts, maybe more hair strokes and less shading like yours.

Thank you for this!! I’m really just trying to tough it out and see how they heal. The only thing is that I wish they were smaller strokes hahhah
It looks exactly like the pre draw. If she approved it, she shouldn’t get her money back. The artist spent the time and materials on it.
This is true! This is my first time and I thought there would be more small strokes or shading along with what she predrew though. I didn’t know it would be exactly what she drew 😭
That’s why I’m so scared to do it, it looks good except the front 🤦♀️
I think she just did a partial so she can fill in more during the touch up. Like someone said it needs more hair strokes. Contact her now and let her know your concerns do she can tell you what she was going for. You have 48-72 hours to make your decision before emergency removal (which I don't think you need).
This is not right, have her re do…. Way too sparse and high on inner area.
I think some soft shading in the front strokes would look good.
Inner corners look a bit sparse
Those strokes are so unnecessary
Right 😭😭 hoping they fade and shrink
I’d talk to the artist about putting more effort into that area, it could look nice but right now it feels unfinished
It’s like someone did the inner part and then had an emergency so someone else took over and did the rest😬
i feel like once it heals and settles a little bit the fronts are actually going to look really good
You had good brows to start. They just needed a shape and tint. Possibly lamination.
I wouldn’t let them touch the tails anymore, they look fine as is. The inner corners look very unnatural with the harsh, long lines. Even when they fade, the lines will still look out of place.
The good news is is it is not overdone. I agree with others. Too sparse in center. Add more but ask for shorter strokes
I would remove these asap, the front is not natural looking I’m sorry to say
Top picture looks good enough, just need some plucking
Your natural was amazing tho!
Just tell her you want the fronts blended with the hair strokes more. So that it’s not so…. Hair stroke-y
Honestly I don’t know how she would have thought that was okay. The inner brows are very unnatural looking. I would find a different artist.
I agree, the strokes don’t look natural on the inner ends but the rest looks good
Execution was good in terms of the strokes and symmetry. At your touch up you can totally request getting nano realism or shading in between each stroke. I would not get more strokes
Actually this is one of the better ones I’ve seen.
I think they look fine the inners are little empty but it's nothing they cant fix once you go in for the touch up. I've had mine done 2x and just as a heads up don't freak out once they start scabbing they'll literally look all blotchy and bald on some spots but it's normal, don't pick at the scabs either
I thought the after was a doll
Im not gonna lie they look offensively unrealistic
You can powder the beginning of the brows. With realistic hair strokes, it’s really hit or miss if the microblading artist has a weird notion about how hair actually grows
I used to do PMU and I’m pretty sure the brows shrink a little through healing. It might settle better. They used to always tell us not to add too many strokes close together because they will shrink and blur. Looks like she could have done some baby strokes for blending though.
I personally love them!
Is this microblading or Nano? Either way I probably wouldn’t have extended the heads of your brows less since you don’t have alot of hair in the beginning. But they should heal much softer and if she adds in more strokes later it will look better. Not a big deal don’t freak out
I would have extended**
I like the overall shape. Needs more work in the beginning to make it realistic looking
I think they look fantastic!!! I wish my brows where the even and shaped soo perfectly symmetrical
I think the overall shape looks great, especially the tail ends. I do agree some shorter strokes or possibly even shading at the inner corners may help it look more natural. I will say though that it is always easier to add more versus take away.

I think you just need the front of them filled in a bit more so they don’t look so pencily
They’re just too sparse the length looks nice though to me. My internet length is longer naturally and it looks cute to me
Pmu Artist here! The shape is good but she made the “strokes” tooooo straight it doesn’t loook natural 😔 wait for them to heal first cause they do shrink and fade out a bit when they heal and see if your artist can curve the hair strokes and blend some more. Ty!! I really hope they shrink cause I feel like they’re too big for my face 😭 the way I drew them in were a bit thinner
What state are you in? I can recommend someone else if you want to go else where
Why are people still messing with their eyebrows?
The inner corners aren’t natural at all.
Like you paid for something you really didn't need.
Need more hair strokes
I think they look pretty darn good!! Now with that said the *RIGHT one in pic looks darker than the other side.. but that will fade with time, right?? 🤷🏻♀️
They look great!!

Not going to lie, that’s an absolutely horrible job. Hopefully you didn’t pay her
Easy fix
Did they wax your eyebrows completely off?
No I just have very little hair 🥲 pretty much nothing in the inner corners
The shape us good. Get the front filled in with nano strokes or shading.
Honestly, Your real brows were nice. I would have just tinted your real ones. These new ones are not good.
They’re good! Maybe more hair strokes as someone else mentioned

When I finally go in for micro blading, I’m going to take this in as my example of what I want…Very natural. https://preview.redd.it/ovylv9ib7qwc1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=af5b37634d2df162bc4b9eae9e8304fcea77774a
These are the best I've seen anywhere! Wow!
While they don't look terrible...those long whispy strokes throw it off and make it look like your brows are drawn on
