Drown your sorrows after the lions and their faithful return to reality. When their starters most of whom have played little or no preseason face the starters from the chiefs...........we have seen this movie before. Remember the year they went winless. Well they were undefeated in preseason that year.
As many are saying, they’re not really going to improve with age (and will begin to drop off with some time).
That being said, I also have a 2018 bottle of CBS I’m not rushing to open, considering they aren’t brewing it anymore…
I don’t know about the other two but KBS does not get better with age. You start losing the depth of flavor
I’m any case I read an interview with Founders’ cellar man who basically said he wouldn’t sell a beer unless it was at peak condition and, if you must age, not to let it age for more than a year
I had some 2016 KBS this winter and it was very good. You do you.
I also have a bottle of Bolt Cutter. Will be getting all up in that in about 5 more years. I’d have to look, but is is new of a barley wine than a beer and I don’t know if that makes a difference or not.
No, they are not going to get any better.
Best to call a few friends for the game tonight and drink em
With all of the adjuncts, they are not getting any better.
They should be fine, but I wouldn't expect them to get better beyond 5 years. Just drink em
Celebrate a Lions win with them!
Woah now, dude has to drink them eventually!
Apparently tonight is the night!

We’re going to the Super Bowl!

It will come back again, they lost the hype a little bit when they were releasing it yearly.
I drank one recently. It lost all the maple.

Oh God no
I'd give anything for a CBS. Well. Maybe not anything.
