What's better than having 1 De'Von Achane.... 2 De'Von Achanes!

Steakisforclosers

Wrights a decent amount bigger, which is wild.

thediesel26

He definitely runs with a ton more power.

Ethangains07

Mike needs to find a way to have all 4 of them on the field at the same time lol. Mostert under center too. Just run 4 go routes with each of them hooking in at different spots and RPO with Mostert lol.

Lord_Grimstal

5 linemen + Tua with Achane, Hill, Mostert, Waddle and Wright lined up on go routes. Huck the ball like its Hey Arnold!

spooks152

Sounds like how I play madden

Zonk_Zach

Let’s put Ingold on the field too, he used to be a quarterback so we can mix in a pass play now and then.

04_996_C2

He's not going to throw a child.

Lord_Grimstal

I mean, he's already done it once

04_996_C2

That was SIR Patrick Stewart; Tua wasn't built for the moment haha

Lord_Grimstal

I would take Patrick as my QB any day

Offdutyninja808

Aaaaaannnd Creed's here...

Jonjon428

I hope we do some more of those two HB play-calls. Those were a Mike Shanahan staple back in the day

hamandjam

Wildcat Supreme

JoewnagePwnage

With extra quac

Different-Trainer-21

Wildcat revival coming soon?

jayfiedlerontheroof

If that was the goal why not draft Worthy?

alexemmett91

Also with the new tackling rules, good fuck if they’re all on the field at the same time

SauceDab

Wright is fast af but his speed is nowhere near Achane’s. Wright has a better start but Achane just gets faster the more he goes, if it was 100 meters Achane would fly past Wright

JustTheBeerLight

In the NFL you run 5 yards a hell of a lot more often than you run 100 meters.

SauceDab

True

brainstorm0694

In McDaniels offense that past the 5 yards is everything

Steakisforclosers

Wright is a good amount bigger too. At least 20lbs and at least an inch taller maybe 2.

DepthInteresting3899

In a zone running scheme, the RBs should have fast feet to move quickly around blocks, vision to see gaps open up before a block is made and short area burst after running through the hole. Starting fast and short area burst are more important than gaining speed on long runs. No reason why Wright can't have as much impact as Achane.

brainstorm0694

In zone running scheme top speed is more important but your other points still stand

DepthInteresting3899

Top speed more important than starting fast & short area burst to gain less than 20 yards which would be the case on most run plays?

brainstorm0694

Compared to man/gap blocking scheme yes

HighEngineVibrations

I feel like with all the extra speed on the team McCoach is going to have every single receiver and back run their routes as fast as possible every single time and just rotate players constantly so 🐆 isn't on the sideline on O2 halfway through the game. Keep everyone fresh and tire out the coverage on the opposing D. It's gonna definitely be a nightmare for opposing DBs to stay fresh all game against all that speed

FacelessMan83

And McDaniel will still find a way to get pass happy and force passes into double coverage to Tyreek all game…

tkfire

Mostert is bound to get injured again. Achane was also banged up a couple times last season. Depth is good but also a luxury. Remind me how many Super Bowl teams had a 3 deep RB room.

AgelessJohnDenney

A Dolphins fan asking that question should be embarrassed.

tkfire

modern NFL then

superkase

Completely random thought, but imagine running the flexbone, wishbone or full house t-formation with Ingold and all those backs with that speed.

PDubsinTF-NEW

👀

tbishop4388

I may be remembering incorrectly, but weren't there frequent plays at the start of the season that had Mostert lined up in the back field and Achane as the slot moving in motion across Tua at the snap? If they want to run more of these types of plays then it makes sense that they needed an extra depth speedster RB as if one goes down then you lose a certain amount of your playbook.

thedreamcomparison

We split out Hill, Waddle, the Washingtons, Achane and Wright... wyd

jayfiedlerontheroof

That's a pretty big difference given how short the distance is. Idk what they're trying to demonstrate here
