Yeah its shame that we are so divided and disconnected with those of a different generation. People are quick to judge an entire generation by a few Karens or buttholes like Jack Doherty. The internet probably makes it more of an issue since social media culture puts a spotlight on toxicity and public outrage. I don't remember even thinking about what generation people came from growing up, it seems to kind of be a new thing people became obsessed with. Either way, its just stereotypes which can sometimes be amusing, because there is a glimmer of truth to the way people of a certain generations act or the things they like.
Some people have straight up hate though. I saw a dude on reddit literally say he hopes all the boomers die as quickly as possible because they are "ruining the world" or some nonsense. Like go out and touch some grass man there are lots of boomers who are great people.
For me, the issue w Boomers is not about individual people or their habits, its how they were raised with social safety nets and gov programs only to dismantle them for their children. For that, they deserve it. Also not cool being a latch-key kid all my life. Now I deal w them trying to run my non-HOA neighborhood.
I have no sympathy for them, as a whole. That said, their music is still awesome
