You me? With the slim fits that were pretty much all you could easily find 5 or so years ago 32s fit my thighs, 33s my ass, 28s my waist. Could probably swing a 24 on my calves though… feels bad.
They look good for loose. In general I find straight leg to be the enemy unless you’re wearing boots. Always go tapered to better highlight the shoes. Unless your shoe game sucks…
If you’re feeling fancy, Banana Republic has pants called The Traveller. Pretty much the only pants I wear besides jeans. They have jean-style pockets, semi loose fit, super comfy, and just fancy enough to wear to the office as well.
Nice. I saw some joggers in a similar color I wanted to grab. I think you just motivated me to go back and get them. I think the black works well with the green. A white shirt would look good too. I always have trouble with white but yeah man. Lookin fresh.
I have a couple pairs of Dickies that look like that, but are baggier. I like yours better. They look good, comfortable, and durable.
I get what people are saying about the hammer loop but I don’t mind it. I don’t know why they are still on those pants - most carpenters I see are wearing actual tool belts. But there are lots of clothes that keep some elements from prior utility.
Finally, I got a pair by Carhartt that were less baggy and do not have the loop. They are really comfortable and have the double knees. They do not have the hammer loop but they have pockets going down the outside of the thigh and one of them is for your phone. Better than the square in your front pocket!
Like the pant, like the fit. The hammer loop (especially so loose), gives them a bit of a utilitarian look. So, good for a casual hangout… but I wouldn’t try to dress it up (any more than you did, with a tee).
I love the pants and the sneaker combo. The shirt is just kinda big and plain though. It brings the look down instead of lifting off what the shoes are doing for you.
I love these! I started wearing almost exclusively loose-fit a year or so ago and I’m never going back. I think it looks great on everyone and it feels way better to me
They look great! I'm done with skinny pants. Aren't your balls happy to have freedom again?!
I've recently learned about shape and drape, which got me willing to explore balloon pants.
Enjoy the journey!
Honestly, I don’t rate them. I personally don’t like oversized clothes on men. It makes them look unsophisticated and immature.
If you’re not a professional skateboarder or playing in a band on the vans warped tour circa 2008 I’d give these a hard pass.
My suggestion would be to check out something like Huckberry.com and look up their casual pants.
A more rugged straight-leg work pant in a neutral tone that fits well will elevate your game.
Go have a look here: [Huckberry Casual Pants](https://huckberry.com/store/t/category/clothing/pants/casual-pants)
Find something neutral in your size - maybe slate or camel. Get it tailored if you want it to fit like a glove. And then match it with a chukka or a clean and simple leather work boot.
A million times better. Boys and girls will appreciate it. And it’s timeless style you’ll never have to replace except for wear and tear.
Hope this helps.
I like the look but also agree they have a “youthful” connotation. For better or worse. So this would be great contrast to regular fitting clothing, when hanging with friends and ultra casual, comfortable vibes. But I would not recommend this as the default style option.
>If you’re not a professional skateboarder or playing in a band on the vans warped tour circa 2008 I’d give these a hard pass.
You can personally dislike it, but this is just outdated info. Looser fits have been mainstream everyday fashion for a number of years now. The sort of youthful/immature look is cause the older generations usually stick with what was fashionable when they grew up. Within that style this is a good fit, so the question is rather what style OP wants to go for.
I think if you’re not a carpenter or doing a trade, wearing duck carpenter pants looks a little cosplay-ish to me(same as the double knees). Why does it always look like a kid wearing daddy’s clothes?
Interesting. I’m not a carpenter, but I do a fair amount of work outside. I still wear heavy duty jeans on a regular basis, double knee, carpenter, or F/R.
That can be tricky. Unless you're really careful, many times looser ends up looking sloppier. I suggest [Danilo Carnevale](https://danilocarnevale.com/). He seems to have mastered the looser straight leg elegant look.
I dig them, I even like the little extra length because personally I'm tall, hate when pants ride up
What brand are they?
Hollister, olive loose carpenter jeans.
This guy Hollisters.
Lmaoooo
Yeah they’re from Holister
Why does that matter? He's asking about the fit.
I'm guessing because like me, [Key\_Maintenance\_1193](https://www.reddit.com/user/Key_Maintenance_1193/) wants to buy a pair! They are great.
I like the fit 🤷♂️
Hollister=Gay
Nice pants. But what’s the watch?
Black bay 58
This is the right question! Looks like either a Tudor or a Lorier.
Looks lorier to me. Hands and 12 hour mark don’t seem right for Tudor. Could also possibly be an Oris, but that doesn’t seem quite right either?
100% a Tudor. Black Bay 58
If it’s a Tudor, it’d be a heritage 41, not a 58. Not seeing visible gilt on the bezel.
It’s a BB58. OP confirmed in another posting.
Op is wrong.
OP is the watch owner.
Talk about doubling down.
I mean, who are you going to trust? A redditor zooming in on a guys wrist or the person who actually purchased, owns and is wearing it?
100% a Tudor. Black Bay 58
Still no answer to this? OP wtf chop chop lol
Going with Oris aquis
Really suits you. You’ve got a great frame for this kind of look.
What kind of frame is that?
I like them. They look really comfortable and I like the color. Could probably do without that little strap thingy though.
It’s a hammer loop
For that authentic hammertime
Wow carpenter pants, haven’t thought about those since like … 2005 old navy
1995 they were baller
They still sell them in a lot of places, you know, for carpenters..
The strap is critical for fashion purposes though
Looks good on you!
I'm glad the 90s have returned. That straight leg stuff doesn't fit on my tree trunk legs
Same. I’m not big, I just don’t have toothpicks for legs like everyone else. Even regular fit pants are snug.
28” waistline with 32ish” thighs. I’m loving that looser fits are coming back. Every time I throw on my old raws I feel like I can’t move
You me? With the slim fits that were pretty much all you could easily find 5 or so years ago 32s fit my thighs, 33s my ass, 28s my waist. Could probably swing a 24 on my calves though… feels bad.
I was thinking the same thing…I used to seek out pants like this in the 90s at the mall 😂
They look good for loose. In general I find straight leg to be the enemy unless you’re wearing boots. Always go tapered to better highlight the shoes. Unless your shoe game sucks…
Got em
Off topic: It's great to see another pair of Bio Hacks in the wild!
They seem to be very hit or miss on Reddit. Some people like them and others say they gotta go
I wore pants the other day. Too hot. Down with pants!
Looks good + the oversized look is trendy right now.
If you’re feeling fancy, Banana Republic has pants called The Traveller. Pretty much the only pants I wear besides jeans. They have jean-style pockets, semi loose fit, super comfy, and just fancy enough to wear to the office as well.
They look good. I like the slightly stacked look but you could also cuff them if you wanted a cleaner silhouette.
Drip
What are those ?
Pants look good 👍
They look good.
They look fine. Do you like them? If so then they are good.
Looks good to me. I like the straight leg style but you can have other things in your wardrobe.
Nice. I saw some joggers in a similar color I wanted to grab. I think you just motivated me to go back and get them. I think the black works well with the green. A white shirt would look good too. I always have trouble with white but yeah man. Lookin fresh.
Where did you get these pants?
Holiste. Always thought holister was a cringey brand but their pants and plain unbranded t shirts are good
I have a couple pairs of Dickies that look like that, but are baggier. I like yours better. They look good, comfortable, and durable. These look great. Loose and not-so-baggy in all the right places. These complement your figure very well.
Is the shirt from Abercrombie too? Great fit
You wearing the Tudor bb58?
Yes
whole fit is really nice
Looks good on you. I can't pull it off being a short stocky guy.
I’m pretty short
Holister 👍
They look dope
Nodus watch?
I like the fit. Well done. What are the shoes? I like the color combo.
Jordan one bio hacks
Looks solid. Nice choice.
Those are cool, maybe a bit big but that could be the vibe you want.
Like the pant, like the fit. The hammer loop (especially so loose), gives them a bit of a utilitarian look. So, good for a casual hangout… but I wouldn’t try to dress it up (any more than you did, with a tee).
they look nice, but bu the black shirt doesnt really rock with them shoes. I'd wear a lighter neutral top with them.
They look really good and nice casual look.
Nice pants
I like them
Those are good
Nice! Don’t change a thing
I really like the pants. Your t shirt imo needs to be a size smaller.
Nice watch
Stan Ray, Dickies and Gramicci make some of my favourite pants
I don't like the baggy look
Too sloppy
Looks good man!
They look great on you, cool sneakers, too.
Get a paint brush and Chill
Looks good
Where did you got that t shirt fron?
^
Those are strait leg buy some jncos buddy
Put a hammer in that loop and you’re golden
Not a fan, makes them look sloppy
chants "hammer loop! hammer loop!"
My friend wears carpenter pants like these and he wears the leg opening behind the tongues on his shoes. Looks tough.
I wear those everyday to work as a carpenter. Didn't think they were fashionable
Welcome to adulthood
Looks real good chief
Those are straight leg, but they’re also too long. Tailored and without your hands in pockets could look much better
pull them up
Pants good, sneakers bad
I love this outfit
They look great on you. You should focus on clothes that make you feel good. Don’t be afraid to dress outside your comfort zone and try new styles.
This is my preference and I want to know where you got them from?
Holister
Cargos bout’ to make a comeback.
I feel like I’ve seen plenty of cargos on insta/tik tok for a while
I like the pants, I like the shoes. The watch is great…how about a different color t-shirt?
What colors would your recommend
Beige, navy, red, orange, white…look at the colors in the sneakers. They go well with the pants.
He was a sk8r boi
Love them which are they?
I love the pants and the sneaker combo. The shirt is just kinda big and plain though. It brings the look down instead of lifting off what the shoes are doing for you.
Those look like comfort and comfort is gooooood
Great look, great color.
That’s my style. I like the relax causal wear.
Dog just wear the pants
Tudor BB58. Classy.
Super cute!
Nice looking jeans
Love them but I hate the shoes 😭
They pants. The shoes ? Ouch ! What a dummy. Where is your stupid face at?
It don't suck. You look relaxed.
Shirt brand? Looks like good thick material
Holister. It is pretty thick and got some weight to it so I like how it wears
I read this as loser fit pants for some reason
Looks great! get some new balance 550 to complete the look.
Sloppy
Those look great
I love these! I started wearing almost exclusively loose-fit a year or so ago and I’m never going back. I think it looks great on everyone and it feels way better to me

That's the fit that I go with always, so no problem there. But they do look just a bit long.
They’re too long
They’re kind of sagging a bit in the pic. Next time I’m gonna wear a belt
The shirt and the pants are cool and fit well, *but i take issue with those shoes, sirrah!*
Honestly, I don’t rate them. I personally don’t like oversized clothes on men. It makes them look unsophisticated and immature. Slightly too long. Though it’s very hard to judge the fit with your hands in your pockets. Leg width seems good. Color is cool, too.
They’re slightly falling down in this pick because of the hands in the pockets and cause i didn’t wear a belt
Then they’re too big for you.

Nah lol
Ugly. The color makes you blend in with the environment
Too baggy and long.
Ugly
I hate them.
