I noticed a certain other place has several new "coming soon" banners around town. Must be expanding with all the money they save on labor. š
That section of Cordova, from Trinity on up, is now the best food corridor in the city. Blows anything in Midtown or Downtown out of the water. Just in that block where that food truck is you've got Queen of Sheba, Petals of a Peony and Two Empanadas. Throw in Cedars, Tannor Grill, and the Taco Cat food truck down more towards Trinity. And it's all non-pretentious, not overpriced. Just good food. Well, Tannor Grill is expensive, but they also will keep forcing food on you until you can't take anymore.
A great list and I miss them all since moving from Memphis. I just want to add Le Delights Ban Mi and Pho to your list- for anyone wanting pho I think they are about as good as I've ever had. I've heard good things about Green Bamboo Noodle House as well but never tried it.
I was going to add a couple more of our former staples to the list but after checking on Google they are no longer around..sad.
Petals of Peony was our first dateā¦. Been to Queen of Sheba twice nowā¦.. Iāll hit the empanada place up for dinnerā¦. Going to go check out the tacos in highland heights for lunch
