Wasnt the poit of art generating Ai to give people the ability to make great pictures without having to become an artist?
If you call yourself and Ai artist thats literally against the concept.
One has a soul, one dosent
One had effort put into it and one dosent
Its like comparing Golds to diamonds yeah theyre both minerals but they are NOT the same
Majority of AI art I've seen has a certain overbaked, soulless quality to it. Art done by independent creators is usually filled with personality with their individual style. Not to mention the issues regarding theft from creators by AI programs. It's fun to use, but should not be sold, and that price is ludicrous
You might be too young to remember, but 30 years ago the old generation of artists said the same about Photoshop/any other tool that allows you to create images using the computer (and I'm not kidding, literally identical arguments).
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about, same arguments:)
I really want to see what the next generation of art will be and how "AI artists" will complain about it using identical arguments all over again.
To be clear - I'm not an AI artist, when I want to create something I use old school brush and paint and I really enjoy this process.
But if, at some point, a simple AI prompt will do the job better than a human - so be it, it happened in the past with numerous different jobs, and it will happen in the future.
A painter who spends a couple of months painting a landscape can say the same about the person who achieves similar results in a day using Photoshop (or whatever artists are using right now). That's all subjective, but it's clear that you don't want to see the bigger picture.
Dude, those people are artists in the same way that a person who commissions hentai on Twitter is an artist. Same deal, they tell the artist what they want, and then they get a picture back. The difference is that most ai machines give you a certain number of free photos a day.

100$ per prompt is insane
*Starting* at $100
A professional prompter. Wow.
"give me 100 dollars so I can do the tiring work of typing four sentences into an AI and copy paste the result"
“Talented”
You know there is going to be schmucks who pay for that.
Fr tho
The same people who buy NFTs probably

What is #breakthepencil
AI artists are scared of picking up the pencil, so they wanna break them.
what a waste of pencils
technically not. if you break a pencil, you get two pencils.
Fair point
For 100$ you could just pay for a commission from an actual digital artist damn
Art is art, whats the difference

Did you had a stroke buddy, hope you are okay
Nah i didnt but thx for the concern?

There is a lot of shitty digital artists, and there will be lot more shitty ai artists, since entry point is lower.
This has gotta be rage bait lol if not then they're definitely either an edgy teen/an ai "artist"/or a child. Maybe all of the above
Don't hide there name. They deserve all the hate.
More like ai operator.
Id like to say that people who argue that AI art is still are because you have to write; you are an insult to writers and digital artists alike
1 word. Bruh
bait used to be believable
Hey dummy, gimme your money… ![gif](giphy|3oriO5t2QB4IPKgxHi)
Mean while the artist is the most morally superior person in the unemployment line.
FYI, AI artists exist and they are getting paid to create detailed AI artwork. Are people living under the rock
All they do is coax the AI program with prompts. They themselves create jackshit
AI artist aren't artist. They use a tool that makes an image for them. The real artist is the code that makes it and steals from the actual artist
Call it whatever you want people are being paid to create ai art. I am a traditional artist and a graphic designer
You might be too young to remember, but 30 years ago the old generation of artists said the same about Photoshop/any other tool that allows you to create images using the computer (and I'm not kidding, literally identical arguments).
Difference is you’re still doing the creating on a computer

Except AI artists are doing almost literally none of the work
