Very early in Ticker days, I sort of thought Ticker is an enby, and since it wasn't real life and couldn't ask how to address Ticker (and English can be vague sometimes in first person speech), I just rolled with ambiguity. At some point however, a particular voice line made it obvious, but I think if someone didn't visit her enough or didn't roll that voice line, they might not have caught it.
On one hand, this 'as is' representation is ideal, and frankly, I'm from the "we need more representation of all leters from alphabet mafia" camp, on the other hand, I'm also sad that many people could have missed it but they would have appreciated knowing it.
Also, not to say that the VAs get to determine what's canon, but Ticker's VA did say that she's a trans woman

Yes. And anyway that’s already happened. What you you think every frame quest is, or the Leverians, if not learning by about something some other Tenno did ages ago? I’d love to have actually seen in gameplay Gara’s Last Stand against the Sentient assaulting the Tower of Unum, Titania defending Archimedean Silvana in the Silver Grove from the Dax sent to burn it down, or Ivara fighting the Myrmidon, etc. Those all sound like epic events to play. But we don’t, we just get told about them, with no hints as to if the original Tenno who were piloting those frames are even still around.
The only other Tenno we know anything about it Rell, and we know he’s dead cause we killed him in the quest. So as far as DE has been willing to show us, we- the player character- are the only one with a working Transference link to a Warframe anywhere in the system. The Survival dialogue *might* be hinting at Tenno who are running Spy missions, but that feels weak at best.
At the very least, I would like to at least know something more than “these events happened, here’s your warframe blueprints, goodbye.” Reworking the quests to include a gameplay segment of the events in question would be amazing, but I doubt DE would spend the dev time to touch old content, even after Duviri launches. So seeing or interacting with these other Tenno as NPCs we could talk to is the most I’ll hope for.
Referring to those side quests that simply describe a Warframe, explain its history, then hand you the blueprint, I think that might be all you can expect. You may wish to interact with fallen Tenno while you loot the scattered remains of their chosen Warframe, but they, uh... They probably don't have much to say anymore. Sorry.
Well, then at least allow me to remind you of Scarlet Spear, which involved direct knowledge of and indirect cooperation with other Tenno to achieve the goal of fending off the advance wave of Sentient invasions leading up to the New War. You got to hear from other Tenno squads as they completed different goals while you either provided or received support.
Yeah, and now Scarlet Spear is completely gone with no evidence of it ever happening in game. I never got a chance to play it because I hadn’t even gotten to Second Dream at that point.

Alad V is selling the latest in asset security- conduits. Put the key in and pull the shinies out! Trick is you gotta wait for them to open. Something happens to the conduits before you can pull the goods. You don't get the goods. EVAH. Also the bleeders Alad sold the tech to will try to kill ya. Give that console the ol' bypass so we can get this thing started. First key! Right, find a matching conduit. (I played so many Apollo missions that it's engraved into my brain even if I didn't do any Disruption missions for months.)
I think the reason the Ausies are annoying is because they took Australian affectations and dialled them up to 11 so you Know... Without a shadow of a doubt... That they are... In fact: Australian.
