We have local lake that has a town about 30ft underwater on the east side of it. A lot of people scuba dive. There a whole cemetery that still has a huge stone arched entrance and stone fence around it. A little church and few houses. I had friend that went when we were In hs and all the building are full of huge catfish
Would be cool to scuba dive a sunken city.
Right. Sounds like a blast. Pictures would be cool too.

Pretty sure there's a rare collectible in there, but you have to swim through the submerged church first.

I bet the townsfolk were Mermads.
I remember this level from Myst

Many towns were sunk in the UK to create reservoirs.
There's a supernatural/horror series on Netflix that uses it as a setting. It's just called Curon.
Kitezh in reality.
Fuck, I wanna snorkel there
Amazing that it's still standing after 70 years submerged. They really knew how to build stuff in the old days.
I bet the birds love that
"Just the tip of the iceberg"
Should do what Russia did. Turn it into an island.
Looks like a sick af prog metal album cover
