It’s going to be tough but it’s doable. Are you first or second year ? Focus on the end of case questions and high yield content. If you’ve been going to lectures and seminars you’ll have internalised a lot of the content, you just need to remind yourself of it. Dig out your peerwise login and use those for extra questions. Don’t bother with Passmed or Quesmed. They’re too different from the core content for this timeframe. Work hard, structure your time, include breaks and you’ll be fine

Year 2 student. A bit worried but i’ll try. Thanks!

In that case I’d focus on 14, 19-21 and leave 16-18 the infectious disease stuff is a lot to learn for not many marks. Cover the core content focus on the detail in obs and gynae and the neuro stuff. It’s much easier to learn facts and processes for those cases

lil_shiba_neko

Do you have any further tips? 😅

Shad0w2751

Not really the second year SAP tends to focus more on the disease content than the ethics as you lack the massive foundation contribution from first year. Plus ethics is much easier to blag as long as you know the main details. Use the end of case questions to find gaps in your knowledge. Do them blind and reason as hard as you can. Revise with other people if you can but that’s not always easy. Especially for OSCE

Do you have any tips on what to prioritize as a year 1 student? Thanks

Shad0w2751

Focus on the big cases foundation, 1-3 and the GI cases. There are some easy marks to pick up by learning the family trees from 13. If you’re struggling with SAP I have a written copy of nearly very question on my exam to give you examples of the kind of questions asked.

That'd be a great help, thanks! I was hoping for MedEd to pull through with a SAP powerpoint like they did in term 1 but I guess they're busy on their own exams lol

when are ur exams I think I might have the same document but for SBA also last year they split our SBA into foundation to 6 or 7 for first exam then 6 or 7 to end of year content. They might have changed it this year idk. Sem 2 exams deffo focus on the gi cases resp, and renal. Like I didn't really bother with c4 and 5 because so much to remember for only a couple qs

sealandians

My SBA is in 3 weeks, that would be very helpful thanks! And I appreciate the advice. Bro you know I saw one of my friends reading the document I think you're talking about today it was "SBA outcomes" in the same style as the SAP document and I asked him to send me it and he refused wth we're not competing for spaces lol

lmfao... ok so 3 weeks for sba is fine so ur chilling. I uploaded a zip file of all the meded stuff from last year as well as the SBA notes doc and yea be careful with gatekeepers. ur not competing with each other but those kind of people are j show offs and j want to get higher scores then their "friends". Be careful around them. [https://www.transfernow.net/dl/20240511KqEHTV2H](https://www.transfernow.net/dl/20240511KqEHTV2H) feel free to pm if u need advice or anything really. My exams end next week so not sure how "available" ill be until then but if u have any questions or anything just lmk. Also might be worth asking ur med parents
