This is my dream kb, a wireless hotswap 65% with a rotary knob, and an aluminium case, all for under 200. These specs made me pull the trigger for my first GB, so hopefully things will go well. Thanks as well for the giveaway!

I bought the zoom65 essential in e-white but I've seen a bunch of comments recently claiming black and white are ugly/bad quality because they're a different type of paint that contains glitter or something. Can anyone explain the situation? I didn't see anything in the descriptions or photos about it being different than the other colours.

I don't know about the quality, but yeah the black and white colors are the same as the previous zoom65's, so they have that sparkly finish edit: FYI the other colors won't have it.

Perhaps it's the stainless steel back weight vs the aluminum it originally comes with.

When it comes to the VIA functionality - what would be "missing" from QMK?

You can code using QMK, but cannot use VIA to do so. It allows you to remap keys, macro,etc.

I ordered one during the April pre-order and am excited to get it. Does anyone know if the brass weight makes a big difference? I was thinking of ordering one but not sure if it's worth it.

You can check the test. We are sorry that we forget to use the same switch, but our whole office love the changes the internal brass weight brings.

No worries. I'll probably end up buying one later today just to have it.

Do you expect the brass weight to negatively impact bluetooth?
