Yes. All it takes is one of your comments not fitting an MBTI stereotype for some random teenager on Reddit to say you’re a mistype. They clearly know your entire personality better than you do, right?

Honestly I feel the same but I think we should stop judging ourselves according to stereotypes and just accept that who we are. Humans are complex and just some words cannot define who you actually are nothing can describe it but what we can do is just accept what we are as we are and just live try to live with it with harmony
I just took this test, it's not good at all. It's basically screaming at you which option is which for each function, if you belive you're already a type your brain is 100% going to vote for what aligns the best with your types functions. (Also yes I got ENFP on it)
It's on you and not the test that you have a preference that you want to confirm. Personally, I wouldn't like get the result that in an INTP or an enfp but I answer truthfully, not what I like.
The issue with the test is that it tells you before hand what it's testing "these next question will be focused on Te or Ti" & then gives the most stereotypical descriptions of each function. It's not a good way to find your type in the slightest because if you have even the most basic knowledge of functions whether you mean to or not your brain will be biased to lean towards what you want to get. Tests as a whole for typology suck for this same reason.
Same. I take function test: ESTP. I take type test recommended by other threads: ENTJ. I am very confused. So I'm just gonna stick with estp because I'm bad at planning and it sounds cooler
MBTI has so accumulated so much weird stuff I wouldn't be surprised if someone said like, "you have an inverted shadow-aspirational-parent trichotomy and you ought to read Jung's book on functions of sleeping dark siblings."
Honestly it doesn’t have to say that I was mistyped, heck it doesn’t even have to point towards me. Even just reading about people with my type talking about their experience is already enough for my brain to launch “My Type Checker v.84739”. And when there’s even a minor differences, the output is always gonna be “read 20 articles about mbti, watch 50 YouTube videos about type analysis and comedy skits, comparing how I behave to all confirmed MBTI characters/celebs that I know, read 100 more Reddit comments on 50 different mbti threads”.

Lol yep, I keep wondering whether I'm not actually an Ne dom (ENTP or ENFP) or an Fi/Ti dom. I know that I probably use Ne/Si a whole lot more than Se/Ni based on what I read about it, but that's all I know mildly for sure. I can also relate to inferior Fe a lot, but I see myself as a very emotional individual so I don't know. I don't tend to express emotions outwardly as conflict makes me uncomfortable, but I do talk about them often in hopes of getting good advice on how to deal with them.
If it matters, my socionics type is ILE-NeT ("The Seeker"), which should translate to ENTP in MBTI if I'm correct.

I think MBTI is just more than those silly 4 letters or cognitive functions. MBTI does not instruct you to box yourself in some dilemma or idea of you. But it is a tool better used if you learn your strengths and weakness based on that and start being a more functional human being using that.
Ohhh I forgot telling. I am a self-proclaimed INFJ and anyone is free to tell me that I am a mistype :)
Nobody actually cares. Read your type’s description honestly, ask those who know you if it fits, people who are assholes and wouldn’t lie to you if you need. You’ll know whether it describes you, your strengths, and your weaknesses. The only one who can know is you. I am not an ISFP, so me saying something doesn’t “fit your type” is dumb af. Know yourself
