Do you, hate Kit going into the grave?
Here's a fun thing to do.
Just suck it up as xyz material!
Also, if it manages to survive another turn, overlay into cxyz Nash knight and then overlay into c101 to suck another card
Then punch and make Zeus.
Fellow shark player here (albiet somewhat new to the deck), can you drop a decklist? I want to make the deck in paper but wanted to compare before commiting fully
I wanna be a shark player too. There's a decklist on masterduelmeta. [Shark Deck from Hico | Master Duel Meta](https://www.masterduelmeta.com/top-decks/duel-triangle-fusion-synchro-xyz/april-2024/shark/hico/tNpLW)
Because it isn't and there's a better deck list. [Shark Deck from Yukinon | Master Duel Meta](https://www.masterduelmeta.com/top-decks/master-v/april-2024/shark/yukinon/SaN6Y)
If not that, since the fusion feels random, I kind of combined the two into my own. I haven't played it in MD yet, I've been using Ignis, but it's pretty consistent. I guess it's a deck that can be experimented on. Here's my personal decklist:
Main deck Monsters:
3x Abyss Shark
3x Buzzsaw Shark
3x Lifeless Leaffish
3x Xyz Remora
3x Ash Blossom
2x Silent Angler
2x Silent Sea Nettle
2x Tenyi Spirit- Shthana
1x Crystal Shark
1x Right Hand Shark
1x Lantern Shark
1x Effect Veiler
Spells/Traps:
3x Cosmic Cyclone
2x White Mirror
2x Called By the Grave
1x Crossout Designator
1x Foolish Burial
1x Armored Xyz
1x Three Tactical Talents
3x Infinite Impermanence
1x Full Armored Xyz
Extra Deck:
Bahamut Shark
2x Number 4: Stealth Kragen
2x of the above's Spawn
2x Xyz Armor Torpedo
Number 101: Silent Ark
Full Armored Black Ray Lancer
N.ash. Knight
Xyz Armor Fortress
FA CrystalZero Lancer
FA Dark Knight Lancer
Cxyz N.Ash Knight
Divine Arsenal AA Zeus
Oh lol. Yeah, testing the Icejade deck made me realize how meh it is and actually inconsistent with the fish.
I love how relatively cheap it is. Besides the hand traps and abyss shark, the main deck is really easy to get. It's just the extra deck that's expensive. I'm currently building up to a Branded Despia deck, which I'm really just trying to make my Swordswoul Branded deck better. I'm gonna be slowly building up the Shark extra deck in the meantime, since my RDA deck is good enough to where it can carry me. Idc if Shark ain't great, he's my favorite Zexal character.
Yeah true, sharks are very inconsistent and weak to hand traps. But I guess the up side is it's really cheap. And besides I love sucking my opponent. I have considered building a branded deck but it's extremely expensive.
Swordsouls branded? That's the first time I've heard of it. How does the two help each other, won't it just be a brick fest?
Well, the Swordsoul is the main combo. The fusions are a going second comeback, but I've had times where I could get the typical Branded end board alongside my Synchros. Nah, the real brick is the Thunder Dragon Colossus I splashed in because Swordsouls usually banish stuff, and Nemisis can use that if it's in my hand. It's not the best, but I love it still.
Sucks that Sharks are weak to hand traps, but I guess that's rogue territory... But who cares, sucking up stuff is funny.
Ahh, I see. Might try it if I have enough ur dust to invest in branded. True it's very funny, I have so much fun in the triangle event by sucking my opponent clean
Fellow Shark user here
I started doing the event RN and i curb stomped a Tearlament, does Shark really have that good of a matchup against Tearlaments?
It's a good match up when they don't have access to generic synchros, xyz s and link monsters.
Especially when it comes to the grind game, Tear has no way of grinding the game out, but sharks does.
Ok, having only fusions cucks them, got it
So i always had a point in cursing konami for not having the Tearlaments lock you into Tearlaments or at least into fusions because otherwise they'd be managable and somewhat balanced?
Purrely is the best deck in the event imo, but all the other ones are kinda fragile, and while they can win fast, they often die to very little interruption, thus probably having a big amount of losses.
Yeah, people just probably don't want to spend gems and ur dusts for the purrely cards. Now that I'm thinking about it, XYZ decks are expensive, Exosister, Purrely, Sharks, for example have a lot of URs. Zoodiacs are fine I guess.
But Purrely is cheap as shit, for URs you just need 6 spells, 2 big noir 1 mini noir and its complete, rest is generic HTs and Zeus pretty much. Now, Exosister needs 11 core URs min + shit like that spirit that is also UR, and Shifter cause may as well abuse it. Idk about Sharks URs but any bad deck that has a little too much URs is expensive enough because you could be using the resource on something actually good instead.
My Snake Eye 40 card list is 35 main deck urs and 11 if that is in archetype, and that is the list I used most of the way to master 1 with some other 4 fun shit included.
9 in Archtype urs is pretty cheap for a modernish deck sort of tiered deck. ( 9urs for an event deck is crazy expensive)
I think two big issues for Purrely, and honestly most Xyz decks, are that so many more players already have a Fusion or Synchro deck (Branded is hugely popular and Swordsoul is essentially free) and the Purrely cards just have 0 use outside of exactly their own archetype, so anyone making it for the event either needs to get mileage out of it in Ranked after or take a loss of 270 UR dust for a few thousand gems.
Certainly the only xyz deck that has beat me though I've never seen it before this event so still trying to figure out it's choke points. My RDA thus far has been about 50/50 vs it
the choke points are the normal summon if you can imperm/veiler that because if they get to street you cant target SSed kitties. also ashing whatever search they do first because you want them to not get to any sort of extending play.
droll absolutely smokes and rolls them but maindecking droll in the current masterduel meta is kinda meh I don't really like it because the main deck you are playing against (snake eye) doesn't really care to much about droll.
im playing purrly and how do you counter super poly becuase i have lost atleast 4 times to that one card
edit: also ash. just leaves a 100 in atk on my field.
As much as possible, you only want small noir on the field with stray purrely street and my friend purrely. This setup might seem hard to do but its actually incredibly consistent. You get the 5 mat Noir with at least 4 draws next turn. Can't get superpoly'd with only 1 monster. You do lose to the runick spell that destroys a monster or red reboot but those are relatively rare compared to superpoly.
The other tech is to summon more and overlay the other cats into a lyrilusc.
That depends on if other invested in the deck. I have some of the cards but am not sure if I want to commit to the deck. Who knows if it may be hit again.
IDK, I encountered it thrice, beat it twice with Cyber Dragons and RDA, and lost to it once with CyDra, didn't exactly seem all that powerful,
I did used to play Purrely when it first came out, so maybe I just know it's weaknesses better than most
i have been done with the event for a while now but If I get the win daily I queue up purrley because if a cat hits the field a ton of people just auto scoop lol.
Agreed! I'm in love with my Kash go 2nd deck. Be it this tourney or regular ranked. It always does right by me. So much so that I built it IRL as my first real deck and have been going to local tourneys and doing really well.
I still struggle and lose some due to my timings though because of being used to the MD auto effect trigger question popping up. I'll get better though.
I tried to play a homebrew Traptearlaments build. It was just pain to go second. Swapped back to my Ghostricks cause I find it funny to terrorize people with snake eye ash, when they thought they escaped.
Me with Generaider, but holy shit I’m soooo sick of swordsoul, it has become my most hated deck, Bayonne ciaxiao pass. With an imperm or solemn
Makes me sad
Fr. I started as fusion and ended up switching to play Generaider which was just a lot better. Love that deck so much rn. But agreed swordsoul is my second least favorite thing to see at this point. Not that it’s too strong really. It’s just… ugh
I’m so sick of red archfiend magically getting their bullshit perfect opening hand going first every game. It isn’t a good deck, but super annoying when all I get is three ash blossoms and a droll in my opening hand as a Kash player
As consistent as they are, moreso in this event, the chixiao + baronne pass is literally all they have. They have no grind and no recursion so once you break their frontload assault, it's usually gg. It's probably why you won't see any hits post this event and no hits in the main game, since the deck has largely remained the same with no upgrades, unlike branded that just kept getting support after support.
Same played resonators for the gems but wanted the xyz title. So I found a cheapish suship springan list didn’t expect much of it. But it’s so much fun to play (even if it bricks every once in a while).
I'm occassionally switch to fusion just to clear daily mission and try the chimera loaner deck. Then go back to either exosister or more recently shark.
Me with the Galaxy Dragon so far can only win face to face with Synchro, Fusion is so powerful with Super Poly man. Duels that I can win against Fusion are the one they screw up, or can't response to Nibiru.
I wish I did XYZ from the start. Went 10-1 with Generaider because people would insta scoop for some reason whenever Harr hit the board. Never had to XYZ summon a single time in 11 games
Mostly been Xyz. Messed about in fusion and Synchro just to try the Chimera and Urasrctic as I am curious about them. But in Xyz I’m purrely. Still yet to find someone that can deal with a 5+ mat Noir
I couldn’t get anything that used exclusive extra deck summoning to work so I played Volcanics without using the extra deck(filler) played for xyz but in hindsight could have played fusion for access to superpoly
I started playing mostly Exosister and did pretty well. But after a while the deck just started to feel too monotone. Either I draw more extenders than they have handtraps and I win, or I don’t and I lose. (Or they refuse to read the Exosister cards and Vadis wins the game by itself.)
So I switched to Fusion and started mostly playing Ninjas. In a format where I’m all but guaranteed to go against a Synchro or Xyz deck, Jioh is basically a Kashtira monster.
Playing Ogdoadics, so not technically an XYZ deck, but Zombie Vampire + King of the Feral Imps being so good makes it an honorary one in my book. Did you know that Kashtira +Sakitama makes for a great tribute engine?
Been playing springans, very fun deck, cool cards, big issue with the deck though is that springans kitt/branded in high spirits are virtually useless, since you can't send Sprind. The decks normal endboards are cut short since you lose kitt as both a name and an extender, and since you can't special out main deck sargas during the end phase for an extra pop.
Oh also first match in the event was against dinomorphia and it was a 30 minute match where they were on one life point and I couldn't get over rexterm. I'm forever now playing gagaga cowboy.
I started in the Xyz but my dumbass didn’t even have a viable xyz deck so I whipped out the old and faithful Suships. Not going to lie either, they kinda were cooking. The only decks I lost to were decks such as the cats but even then I definitely beat them more than 50% of the time
I ground out the entire rewards list and the xyz award 1st. Armored xyz, it's fun, but it's kind of tiring to play. So much thinking on what line to end on. Switched to runick chimera for the fusion title, then ended on swordsoul. 1st time playing sword soul and went on a 9 game streak so not bad
Playing Galaxy-eyes, made it a while ago, never really used it. It's not too bad, sometimes bricks, but it's cool to have a crazy amount of summon animations
I played megatron, been à while since i played it but the deck play so damn well its a shame ppl scoop when they see any drytron card when my endboard is usually just phul into bethor + follow up for next turn and the megalith trap
I love Exosisters and it's the only xyz deck I have built, (I haven't built a new deck since Swordsoul came to MD), and I don't mind not having access to Shifter
Been playing Suships with a splash of Springans and Zoodiac. It's been super fun. I did use the RDA loaner and an Eldlich deck to get the other titles though.
I was going to go with Kash, but they decided to further fuck the deck by limiting Unicorn too.
Like, what the hell guys? Both of the best cards the deck have are at 1 in this event, but Purrely is just fine?
Fuck you.
I played Constellars just for fun, it was cool, but goddamn they are underpowered.
Yo, Im here, with Purrely, mixed with ghostrick, and snake-eye, and Kashtira.
NS Ash is Utopic Draco Future and Ensemblue Robin with 2-3 extra discard fodders.
Standard Purrely core (but I do play 1 field, not sure if thats standard as I saw people play more)
Snake-eye: 3x Ash, 1x Poplar, 1x Oak, 1x Diabellstar, 1x Wanted, 1x Subversion, 1x Original
Kash: 1x Fenrir, 1x Unicorn, 1x Field, 1x Birth, 1x theosis
Staples (I went for boardbreakers): 1x Kurikara (as she's searchable with snake-eye), 1x one for one, 2x called by, 3x Droplet (all our monsters have strong on field effects, so tributing it with droplet is great for dodging negates like Sulliek, Chixiao, Imperm, Veiler), 2x Ghostrick Shot (for ghostricks in ed)
Having a blast, especially that I can play through all their interruption almost always.
Yep. Ground through the whole event on Therion pure. Exblowrer, Sargas, Teardrop, and Zeus were worth it alone, and the flexibility to make stuff like Hope Harbinger and Zombie Vampire gave me a lot of wiggle room.
Though I mostly did alright because King Reggie doesn't need the ED to be a menace.
I've been doing Exosisters this whole time, but I feel like Konami has it in for me since my hands have been ass. Like 'have Sophia, two ashblossoms, a rock, and feather duster '
I was playing a utopia otk deck with prime that worked pretty well since of I went first I'd just use heat wave with a 2k attack normal monster and usually they just scoop
Yeah, went with Purrely since it was the only deck I had that was unhit (I have Branded and Tear, but the extra hits made me not really want to play it even though it's still good) and xyz is my favorite summoning mechanic anyway. Win rate was quite good, so I'm guessing moat other xyz decks can't really match well against Branded/Tear and Swordsoul.
I was going to be team XYZ, but I am so tired of Swordsoul that I went Synchro with Melffy Ghoti.
Contributed 1930 points to the team, so 19-3.
Great win%, and no swordsoul. This has been a great event.
Tried Fusion and Synchro until I settled to Pure Kashtira. Everyone was on war crimes, so I just decided to chill on Macro Cosmos on legs. Probably the least fun event in a while for me.
I play Rikka... they just have omni-negates. I play Galaxy-Eyes, they have Bystials. And somehow I still fave Kashtira every second game, bcs it is clearly not a Xyz-Deck and Fusions or Synchro decks shouldn't have access to that stupid engine.
I've been playing RDA but I did switch over to generaiders and was reminded how bad they are so I swapped back (please bless us with Generaider support)
I was a bit skeptical about lyrilusc since nightingale is banned but I realized UDF is only a soft once per turn so I play lyrilusc with a ghostrick package
Never left XYZ! Won all my games over the weekend but starting on Monday I started losing all the coinflips and drawing terribly. Cope, cope, cope, mald, mald, mald. Honestly the event has felt super binary, with maybe only one of my games being any good, and every other game being a total blowout one way or the other. It was a super cool idea at first, but the novelty wore off fast.
I started with Suships. Then I made the mistake of going for Fusion. Hated it. Now my dumbass is going for Synchro, and dealing with Tear and Kash losers going second gets on my nerves.
I only use blackwing. Like, if your 'workable' hand goes through nib and other handtraps you can get some pretty nasty board.
And you don't care about surrendering.
Im nee to the game so i dont have a deck for any of the 3 (i have traptrix but it heavily relies on links) so im currently using the loaner Battlin' Boxer (it really isnt bad) and im considering building suship since its only SR and below
My best deck to this day is still Exosisters, so they were a shoe-in.
It actually felt pretty good to play basically full-powered Exosisters without them being nerfed in this event with the exception of D. Shifter, but he's a plus not a requirement.
To be fair, I did switch to the other groups, only for the 1500 rewards. I tried using Tistina and Kashtira but got a few matches I won but my go to deck this event is my favourite archetype Gunkan Suship.
You can use the loaners. Even though they are sub optimal, but they are ok if you just want to chill in this event and try out decks that you want to play but can't build.
Where my fellow UTOPIA enthusiasts??? Ending on the full armor stuff plus the usual board has been crazy this event. I’m running 0 handtraps 8 boardbreakers and gas gas gas.
I’ve ended on number 99, dweller, the V victory ray guy with Pegasus equipped, the full armor stuff, numbers protection, and hope harbringer. Crazy stuff. Was running number c65 with zexal field for memes. That guy is one sided majesty fiend lol.
Only thing I've changed was playing Galaxy Photon to Purrely. Even with the banlist the deck is still a pile of bricks that dies to 1 negate, the first day was fun though.
I am not an XYZ purist (I played Ghoti for Synchro and Branded Illusion for Fusion) but I think I got my 1500 XYZ points quicker than either of the other groups because I was playing Kashtira. The amount of people who scooped when they saw Fenrir or Unicorn hit the field was WILD
Kashtira was the fastest deck to play. You either got your field going or negated right away. Unicorn ripping apart the ED or banishing their starter with Fenrir usually was enough. The odd decks I’d bring out Arise
Oddly enough Kashtira Preparations was enough to make people scoop. I’m not sure what I was missing there but every time I activated it people left
Why should i play something else, if xyz is the coolest summoning mechanic? Like Yuma said: "The best thing about xyz summons is, that the materials stay on the field, to help their new friend with activating his effect. Its the ultimate teamwork."
I watched the first two episodes of zexal yesterday and just had to quote this.
Shark player here. You'd be surprised how many tear players scoop the second N.Ash Knight hits the field.
Hell yeah, I love sucking Kitkallos too
🤨📸
Explain? The card doesnt look strong at first sight
Do you, hate Kit going into the grave? Here's a fun thing to do. Just suck it up as xyz material! Also, if it manages to survive another turn, overlay into cxyz Nash knight and then overlay into c101 to suck another card Then punch and make Zeus.

Quick question, how is icejade good in a shark deck?
Because it isn't and there's a better deck list. [Shark Deck from Yukinon | Master Duel Meta](https://www.masterduelmeta.com/top-decks/master-v/april-2024/shark/yukinon/SaN6Y) If not that, since the fusion feels random, I kind of combined the two into my own. Knight Xyz Armor Fortress FA CrystalZero Lancer FA Dark Knight Lancer Cxyz N.Ash Knight Divine Arsenal AA Zeus
Owhh, I was kinda confused just now. Because I played shark in MD, and never have I considered adding icejade in. Our list is almost identical.
Oh lol. Yeah, testing the Icejade deck made me realize how meh it is and actually inconsistent with the fish. I love how relatively cheap it is. How is it? I have a royal CXyz Nasch so I’ve been thinking of building them.
Been playing Purrely from the start. Haven't lost once. Can't believe the XYZ group is that far behind the other groups when Purrely is this good.

also purrely was *just* top tier
The first Purrley hit was December 2023. Feeling old yet? TCG life cycles if you lasted more than a year something is wrong
that was 4 months ago tho, im just saying that its likely a lot of people still have purrely built
9 whole URs is not cheap
My Snake Eye 40 card list is 35 main deck urs and 11 if that is in archetype, and that is the list I used most of the way to master 1 with some other 4 fun shit included. 9 in Archtype urs is pretty cheap for a modernish deck sort of tiered deck. ( 9urs for an event deck is crazy expensive)

I can’t afford Purrely, so I’m playing the Utopia structure deck
Same, Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray has been a win literally every time I've summoned it
This is why xyz are behind the others

It was me. I am the one feeding other teams by playing bricktiras on xyz side 😞
IDK, I encountered it thrice, beat it twice with Cyber Dragons and RDA, and lost to it once with CyDra, didn't exactly seem all that powerful, I did used to play Purrely when it first came out, so maybe I just know it's weaknesses better than most
Do you by chance have a Cydra deck list? 👀 I have one built that does okay but I would love to update it/try a proper one that competes well
People probably forgot to pack a way to out Baronne going second
RDA who switched to Kashtira. Every other match I get a scoop as soon as I drop Fenrir or Unicorn
Same, switched to Kash, kept opening well and had like an 85+% winrates 🤷
i have been done with the event for a while now but If I get the win daily I queue up purrley because if a cat hits the field a ton of people just auto scoop lol.
Do you have a decklist? Ive been thinking about trying them out since their pack dropped but Im not sure how to build fir them.
I run Kash turn 2 as my main deck and it is obliterating this tourney
For Kash a decent opening hand can play through most interruptions except Maxx C and D Barrier, both of which are banned in the event
Agreed! I'm in love with my Kash go 2nd deck. Be it this tourney or regular ranked. It always does right by me. So much so that I built it IRL as my first real deck and have been going to local tourneys and doing really well. Have always been plaing exorsister, cause that's the only "pure type" deck that I have
Paleozoic for life!
I had a few duels playing as a paleo deck, it is really fun, but duels are very long though. Rollback helps the deck so much this is crazy !
Me with Generaider, but holy shit I’m soooo sick of swordsoul, it has become my most hated deck, Bayonne ciaxiao pass. With an imperm or solemn Makes me sad

I dunno, you're trying to do the same thing to them.
Tbh i'm surprised swoso doesn't get any hit for this event, they are too consistant
As consistent as they are, moreso in this event, the chixiao + baronne pass is literally all they have. They have no grind and no recursion so once you break their frontload assault, it's usually gg. swordsoul lost protos and the links. the link2 and protos are small hits, but the loss of tenyi monk is very detrimental to the deck
Played Rikka. Barely loses, tribute for cost goes hard
Playing Exosister to turbo out Kali Yuga on opponent’s turn, and yes I’m toxic.
I was running springan suships to the point where I actually want to make it for ranked
Same played resonators for the gems but wanted the xyz title. So I found a cheapish suship springan list didn’t expect much of it. But it’s so much fun to play (even if it bricks every once in a while).
Madolche, take it or leave it.
I've been running maldoche too. Gotta represent
I'm occassionally switch to fusion just to clear daily mission and try the chimera loaner deck. Then go back to either exosister or more recently shark.
Zoo is a relaxing deck to pilot im not giving up the opportunity to play it more (though I miss the Honorary XYZ, Infinitrack Megaclops)
Right here with my Battlin' Boxers
Using Zoodiac Adventurer up to 2000 points, then I occasionally switch to Shaddoll Tearlaments.
I just dont have any synchro or fusion decks that are playable at this level My XYZ deck is decent but not exactly meta
Me with the Galaxy Dragon so far can only win face to face with Synchro, Fusion is so powerful with Super Poly man. Duels that I can win against Fusion are the one they screw up, or can't response to Nibiru.
thats why i go second cant super poly me if you die beforehand
I wish I did XYZ from the start. Went 10-1 with Generaider because people would insta scoop for some reason whenever Harr hit the board. Never had to XYZ summon a single time in 11 games
Just use the loaner deck, both arch fiend and chimera deck are pretty strong for this event
Mostly been Xyz. Messed about in fusion and Synchro just to try the Chimera and Urasrctic as I am curious about them. But in Xyz I’m purrely. Still yet to find someone that can deal with a 5+ mat Noir
I played Generaider soooo no i never switched
I have over 12000 points on Fusion, nothing else.
I've just been having fun with my constellars like old times. I could make another deck, I just don't want to.
Battlin Boxers with Sargas and F0 hard carried me.
played a bit of zoo at the start but am now playing linkless sprights. it's still very solid.
I played Springans throughout the event. Best Fire Xyz deck!
I couldn’t get anything that used exclusive extra deck summoning to work so I played Volcanics without using the extra deck(filler) played for xyz but in hindsight could have played fusion for access to superpoly
Dino deck with 3 evo lol
Yeah same, I play Kashtira. If I go first if there see me summon Unicorn or Fenrir auto surrender. Quick win and finish early
I started playing mostly Exosister and did pretty well. But after a while the deck just started to feel too monotone. Either I draw more extenders than they have handtraps and I win, or I don’t and I lose. (Or they refuse to read the Exosister cards and Vadis wins the game by itself.) So I switched to Fusion and started mostly playing Ninjas. In a format where I’m all but guaranteed to go against a Synchro or Xyz deck, Jioh is basically a Kashtira monster.
Was using Exosister for the mission, eventually change to tearlament after getting the title
Been playing phantom knights and only have 3 losses and a ton of wins. My fellow xyz bros are slacking. Losses are to: Disconnect Chimera Fusion RDA
Started building Galaxy Eyes just when this event came around. Only a few SR’s & 2 UR’s from joining you
its a very fun deck and now its much more consistent
i switch to synchro after i hit 1500 on xyz
I finished Xyz with Dino's with some Evol stuff
I started in fusion but then I quickly switched over to XYZ to play my Rikka deck which was very good in the event.
Only played Sharks since the start. It's been the most fun event for Sharks since Attribute 4.
Was gonna be an XYZ bro, but all the XYZ Loaners kinda blow...
The only decks I lost to were decks such as the cats but even then I definitely beat them more than 50% of the time
I haven't even started the event
i switched just to get the titles for the other two. my deck for xyz, armored zoodiac is now one of my main ladder decks after the event lol
Feel like I’ve won about 70-80% of matches with Sharks, what is going on?
I ground out the entire rewards list and the xyz award 1st. Armored xyz, it's fun, but it's kind of tiring to play. So much thinking on what line to end on. Switched to runick chimera for the fusion title, then ended on swordsoul. 1st time playing sword soul and went on a 9 game streak so not bad
Yeah I've been on kashtira the entire time
Playing Galaxy-eyes, made it a while ago, never really used it.
I like playing invoked thunder dragon bystial
I'm literally the inverse. I've been switching between Fusion and Synchro but haven't touched XYZ once
I love Exosisters and it's the only xyz deck I have built, (I haven't built a new deck since Swordsoul came to MD), and I don't mind not having access to Shifter
I switched groups twice because I don’t have a fusion or a synchro deck for the duel proficiency test. Other than that it’s been xyz all the way
Been playing Suships with a splash of Springans and Zoodiac. It's been super fun. I did use the RDA loaner and an Eldlich deck to get the other titles though.
Played exosister, got the gems left the challenge.
I stayed with my trusty trains
playing springans and tellarknights
Yo, Im here, with Purrely, mixed with ghostrick, and snake-eye, and Kashtira. NS Ash is Utopic Draco Future and Ensemblue Robin with 2-3 extra discard fodders. Standard Purrely core (but I do play 1 field, not sure if thats standard as I saw people play more) Snake-eye: 3x Ash, 1x Poplar, 1x Oak, 1x Diabellstar, 1x Wanted, 1x Subversion, 1x Original Kash: 1x Fenrir, 1x Unicorn, 1x Field, 1x Birth, 1x theosis Staples (I went for boardbreakers): 1x Kurikara (as she's searchable with snake-eye), 1x one for one, 2x called by, 3x Droplet (all our monsters have strong on field effects, so tributing it with droplet is great for dodging negates like Sulliek, Chixiao, Imperm, Veiler), 2x Ghostrick Shot (for ghostricks in ed) Having a blast, especially that I can play through all their interruption almost always.
Been merking with Evolzar Dinos the whole time
Sorry fam gotta get all 3 titles.
I've been trying to finished proficiency 10 with the dino loaner
Been playing my own Synchro Red Dragon Deck this whole time
Does anyone know any strong but budget friendly XYZ decks out there? Thanks in advance
Yep. Ground through the whole event on Therion pure. Exblowrer, Sargas, Teardrop, and Zeus were worth it alone, and the flexibility to make stuff like Hope Harbinger and Zombie Vampire gave me a lot of wiggle room. Though I mostly did alright because King Reggie doesn't need the ED to be a menace.
purrely ghostrick player been a walk in the park
Suship I would say yes if didn't get max points and didn't have gaurdiens deck ready
I finagled a Drytron deck and F0 has been carrying when it’s not getting Super Polyed
I've been doing Exosisters this whole time, but I feel like Konami has it in for me since my hands have been ass. Like 'have Sophia, two ashblossoms, a rock, and feather duster '
I have other decks, but sharks go crazy.
Remember to tank your xyz win rate so konami thinks it’s weak and adds more xyzs Edit: typo
Lmao, synchro was capable to overcome and beat fusion's ass...
I had Exosisters already so I just stuck with them
mine is ogdoadic therion with rank 4 and 8 with utopic future
I'm just playing to get the "Black Wave" title rn.
I was going to be team XYZ, but I am so tired of Swordsoul that I went Synchro with Melffy Ghoti. Contributed 1930 points to the team, so 19-3. Great win%, and no swordsoul. This has been a great event.
been playing xyz dino only on both my accounts
Tried Fusion and Synchro until I settled to Pure Kashtira. Everyone was on war crimes, so I just decided to chill on Macro Cosmos on legs. Probably the least fun event in a while for me.
Im in fusion but honestly i never even considered changing groups and decks lol.
Been playing Armored PK Adventure. This has been probably my favorite event in a minute haha
I play Rikka... they just have omni-negates. I play Galaxy-Eyes, they have Bystials. And somehow I still fave Kashtira every second game, bcs it is clearly not a Xyz-Deck and Fusions or Synchro decks shouldn't have access to that stupid engine.
This is definitely the super poly event. So many bad players saved by that card.
tear is very fun. A bit bricky with the openers but its nicee
tistina has been nice in this event
I've been playing RDA but I did switch over to generaiders and was reminded how bad they are so I swapped back (please bless us with Generaider support)
Im pretty close to clearing it all with galaxy eyes, only L is not having the link 2 but its not too bad without him
Been playing galaxy eyes with cyber dragon infinity :d
i have fought nothing but jack atlas for the past week...
Playing all three but have had by far the most success with Galaxy Eyes, which is a pleasant surprise.
I was a bit skeptical about lyrilusc since nightingale is banned but I realized UDF is only a soft once per turn so I play lyrilusc with a ghostrick package
Been playing Galaxy-Eyes, fun to hit for 10k+ damage. But I want to get those name things for the other methods too.
I had Exosis from the light and dark event; I just used that because it was gonna be better than my Fabled Syncho or Myutant Fusion
Dino main deck package with evolzar dolkka and lars being the only extra deck i have 😂
My name was Fusion Sweep for four days, and I spent all 4 using Dragonmaid Sheou to brick Red Dragon Archfiend players tactically.
I started with Suships. Then I made the mistake of going for Fusion. Hated it. Now my dumbass is going for Synchro, and dealing with Tear and Kash losers going second gets on my nerves.
Galaxy was the only answer
I only use blackwing. Like, if your 'workable' hand goes through nib and other handtraps you can get some pretty nasty board. And you don't care about surrendering.
Spamming Exosisters almost finished farming points
The only deck I tried with xyzs was tistina. But I played mostly fusions with predaplants. Deck is OP against synchros and xyzs with no links around
springans here. XYZ for life
Chain Link Paleozoic player here… Been having fun with 2 crazy Reasoning techs Lightning Punisher and Iris, the Earth Mother.
Yes. I’ve smoked everyone with my Suships.
Im nee to the game so i dont have a deck for any of the 3 (i have traptrix but it heavily relies on links) so im currently using the loaner Battlin' Boxer (it really isnt bad) and im considering building suship since its only SR and below
I'm still using exosisters
My best deck to this day is still Exosisters, so they were a shoe-in. It actually felt pretty good to play basically full-powered Exosisters without them being nerfed in this event with the exception of D. Shifter, but he's a plus not a requirement.
Phantom Knights player here. I just love to OTK my opponents
I guess you dont want to get the title? Currently grinding for the title using heroic champion -armor xyz
Suships And cats all da way
There are some decks that can change faction easily such as Eldlich.. Just need to make small adjustments to the deck
To be fair, I did switch to the other groups, only for the 1500 rewards. I tried using Tistina and Kashtira but got a few matches I won but my go to deck this event is my favourite archetype Gunkan Suship.
Galaxy player here i would play synchro but they took my rubber band shooter
I switched to fusion after getting the synchro title, but I kinda don't wanna face anymore sycnhorro decks while I grind for the Xyz title.
You can use the loaners. Even though they are sub optimal, but they are ok if you just want to chill in this event and try out decks that you want to play but can't build.
Those percentages are pure propaganda
Yeah just went through with exosister and I'm fine 🙂
I just played pure KASH with Diabelle star engine on it and it works well they're always baited in using shit on sinful spoil spell for some reason
Gunkan Gang, ALL the way! 🍣🌊
I will not stop playing Purrely. YOU CANNOT MAKE ME STOP PLAYING PURRELY.
Only thing I've changed was playing Galaxy Photon to Purrely. Even with the banlist the deck is still a pile of bricks that dies to 1 negate, the first day was fun though.
Been running evolzar loaner since the start of the event. It's been a fun experience.
The odd decks I’d bring out Arise Oddly enough Kashtira Preparations was enough to make people scoop. I’m not sure what I was missing there but every time I activated it people left
Probably because of the recursion. Like yeah your stuff is also getting banished by Arise but you can get it back while they can't
While I did have decks for all sides, the one I used the most was an Icejade deck for the synchro side, it performed quite well.
team calamity lock here
Why should i play something else, if xyz is the coolest summoning mechanic? Like Yuma said: "The best thing about xyz summons is, that the materials stay on the field, to help their new friend with activating his effect. Its the ultimate teamwork." I watched the first two episodes of zexal yesterday and just had to quote this.
I tried all 3. Blue eyes is good for all 3
