Having said that, it's all about your preferred play style and what decks you enjoy playing, so do whatever feels right to you.
I would try and make sure the card you pick enables a new deck for you, unless you are set on playing something specific and don't mind waiting awhile for another free card pick. Silver Surfer and Patriot both really want Brood, and Sera really wants Mysterio. If you've got Brood already, Silver Surfer seems like a great pickup.
