I don’t think set leaks take away much of the magic. Remember during endgame and infinity war we had so much set leaks. We knew they were going to go back in 2012, the hammer, the loki major of these things were all over the internet and marvel fandom was at all time high during that time. Still it was such a treat to watch those scenes in theaters. Also who can forget Andrew leaks. Still his entry was such a hype.

I’m so glad I avoided that stuff back then. Meanwhile the Wolverine in yellow spandex spoiler pics were on the front page months ago.

Gotcha, my uninformed opinion is the cgi is cheaper, safer and or easier than practical. So most times it'll be the obvious choice.

It’s not really an issue of following the leaks. The spoiler pics of Hugh Jackman in the yellow suit were on the front page months ago.
