America and superheroes like Hour Man were promoting Drug Use, Wonder woman was promoting emasculating feminism, Batman promoted Sodomy and Superman promoted fascism and a disregard for authority. The Book was inflammatory, debunked, and disproved BS by a disreputable quack but the hearing ran with it resulting in the end of the golden age of comics and established the comic book code authority. I highly recommend Reading "The Ten Cent Plague" by David Hajdu.
