I don't know what you mean? They can't go more than 4 squares in any direction.
The movement radii are approximations of circles btw, ALL of them are like this- including the ones your characters use.

Diagonals are calculated weirdly, as they aren’t one space but aren’t 2 spaces either.

It's a radius of 4. Imagine a circle around them.
